My grandad recently moved to this care home from another home due to his needs. The staff have been absolutely brilliant making sure he is settling in ok and making it feel more like home for him. One of the team leaders has especially gone out her way to make sure he is doing ok which I appreciate.
We also went to their end of summer bash and it was absolutely brilliant and well organized it was lovely to see my grandad getting up and dancing and the other residents too. I feel like a is weight lifted off my shoulders knowing he is well looked after.

The very short time my friend was in Kenwyn I couldn't complain on the way he was cared for, especially as my friend wasn't the easiest of the patients to care for. My mother has been in this care home for 5 weeks after a fall at home and hospital admission.
She was always adamant that she did not want to go into a care home !
The first week she was unsure, BUT these last 3 weeks she settled and is very content
All her personal needs are met
She is receiving
hot meals & snacks throughout the day
The staff are fantastic!
She is cheeky to them and can be challenging but they genuinely love her which for a family is lovely to hear

My husband is resident in Lavenders Court. He is being very well cared for. The staff are very helpful, answers any queries I may have regarding health and welfare. His room os kept clean. The food is suitable for the residents. The management are always on hand to speak to relatives. I have no complaints,
apart from the lack of parking. With new apartments being added this could be a real problem.

The manager and care team did everything they could to support and meet the quite specific needs of my mum at a very difficult time in her life.
We were welcomed and found everyone kind and respectful.
Issues that became a concern for my mum were dealt with openly and professionally.
If I lived in

Mum received the best care from the time she arrived at Lavender Court in January to her death in May. Dad became a resident at Lavender Court, following another care home. Lavender Court provides a 'homely environment' where residents and visitors feel welcomed. All of the staff are professional, caring and supportive to dad and us. Staff are adaptive in their approach to individual residents. We have
been kept fully informed of dad's day to day needs and medical needs. Dad appears settled, and especially likes the 'gravy' at mealtimes, apparently the best! It is always difficult to leave your loved one in residential care, but knowing dad is cared for, makes it easier for us too. Thank you to all the staff, medical professionals who visit too!

Ashley House accommodated my husband for 2 weeks' Respite Care. His room was large, overlooking the garden and always clean. The staff at all levels always consider the needs of the residents and the lounge, Conservatory and corridors are kept clean and tidy. Various activities are organised on a
daily basis and residents are encouraged to take part. Wherever you are in the Care Home there is always some kind of music which is greatly enjoyed by residents and visitors alike.
I cannot thank the staff enough for this respite care which has enabled me to recharge my batteries and look forward to having my husband home again.

The manager and all the care team could not have done anything any better.
My mother was there for 18 months and I cannot fault the care she received.
In the last few weeks of her care they could not have been more considerate, helpful, caring, and all around wonderful. It helped the whole family
negotiate these awful times.
The care they gave my mother was exemplary and the support for the family fantastic.
Cannot recommend highly enough and would give them 10 stars if I could. Jill and family.

My mother was a resident for about 18 months, a respite user several times previously and said many times that she was very comfortable and happy during her residence. I was very impressed with clean, tidy, bright, peaceful and welcoming atmosphere at Ashley House and mum's room was very pleasant, well
laid out and relaxing with good quality furniture. I found the staff extremely helpful, always very willing to assist me with telephone and video calls to mum and to inform me about mum's health. I was particularly impressed with how the staff ensured they knew mum, understood her needs and behaviour and intergrated her into the "family" of staff and other residents. Also impressive was the frequent entertainment and stimulation provided to the residents. I believe mum was very well looked after and she never indicated to me, despite my many queries to her about her accommodation, care and meals, that she had any negative view at all. I have the highest repect for Ashley House and Staff.
