My father has been in Millvina House since it first opened. I have never had issues and his care from the lads and girls is second to none. The place itself is spotless, the food is also lovely and the chef is spot-on with a variety of food. I feel so confident in the managers and all the staff have
become like family. The entertainment staff are amazing.

There has been a lot of change of management since first opening plus change of staff, now the new manager who arrived, there is a more sense of calm and order. I have nothing but praise for nursing staff, they have been so attentive to my husband who has been quite poorly, plus the carers. I can never
thank them enough for their loving care and attention they give to their residents, they really are simply the best.

My dad has been a resident for three years in May 2023. He has dementia and I have to say, the care he receives is 10 out of 10. He is fed and drinks well. His personal care is 10 out of 10. One thing I can say is I am reassured of everything my dad is happy. I am happy. Staff are 10 out of 10, the
building is 10 out of 10. It's a happy home that is what matters. Happy family.

My husband has been a resident at Millvina House since 22nd September 2022. The welcome my husband and all my family have received from management and all staff has been fantastic. The care and love he is receiving is outstanding. The staff are there for my husband and also very supportive to me and
my family. Millvina House is just like one big family. We would highly recommend.

My mum has been in Millvina since March 2020. Since Bloom Care have taken over the running of the home this year I feel so happy with the care Mum receives from the staff. The manager listens to the relatives and the staff will give Mum the support and care she needs.
The staff are friendly and understand
how families feel, especially during this pandemic which has been very difficult for our loved ones and relatives. The home is very clean and safe and Mum's room is lovely. I would recommend the home to anyone.
Reply from Joanne shelley, General Manager at Millvina House

My mum was the very first resident at Millvina. She couldn't be happier which is down to the wonderful staff, they are all so special and go out of their way, even when short-staffed and during the testing times when Mum had only been there for 10 months when we thought it was going to close. We were
all heartbroken but thank god and all the hard work from a fellow resident's daughter for fighting for everyone it's stayed open. Onwards and upwards hopefully.

Again, on behalf of my family, I wish to thank all the fantastic staff at Millvina House for fighting tooth and nail to keep our mum safe during this pandemic. The care is second to none, communication to our family is excellent and I sleep better at night knowing my mum is in the safest place she could
possibly be. Thank you Millvina House!

My grandma has been a resident in Millvina since March 2020. The staff are looking after her so well and treat her like their own family. My grandma feels safe with them too. Her room and the whole building is lovely and so clean.

My mums experience in her previous care establishment left the family extremely worried about her move into Millvina. We soon recognised that we had little to worry over. Mum is now content and relaxed. This is due to the hard work and caring nature of all the staff. They have gone beyond our expectations
to ensure that Mum is supported and happy.

My husband sleeps well at night knowing his mum is in Millvena, she is as happy as larry. Fantastic staff, always eager to please and look after her as if she was their own mother, priceless. Our mum was a mess when Millvena accepted her, they turned her around, and is a different person, and is now
well and truly part of "the family". I really do hope that places like this are still around when I need one; well done, Millvina staff.

My mum looks happy every time we visit her in the garden, which wasn't always the case in her last home.
The staff spend time with her and she's enjoyed singing and dancing.
She's no longer losing weight, since being in Millvina House.
The care she is receiving is outstanding and we would recommend
Millvina House to anyone.
Thank you to all who work there.

The staff of this home have been a godsend to my family, if it wasn't for them my mum wouldn't be here today. After ending up in hospital, we needed to find her a new home, from the first meeting with a member of staff from Millvina House, we knew this was the place for Mum. I've never come across a
place where every single member of staff was so dedicated to looking after the people in their care. Thank you all.

My Father in Law has been a resident of Millvina House since being discharged from hospital on the 13th March 2020 and his care since being there has been exemplary. He has been in care since my Mother in Law died in June of 2018 and I feel the level of care he now receives is vastly improved compared
to his previous two care homes. Unfortunately due to the current pandemic causing a lengthy lockdown I have been unable to visit him but the fact that the home has had not a single case of COVID 19 proves to me that the carers and management have made completely the right decision to safeguard our vulnerable loved ones and we couldn't be more grateful to them. My wife has met some of the staff when dropping things off for her Dad and when she was able to have a brief visit last week and says that he looked really well cared for and the staff had obviously built a good relationship with him. I'd strongly recommend Millvina House to anyone looking for top-quality care for their loved ones.

My mother in law went into Millvina House in December 2019. She has settled well and loves her new home. The staff are very good with her and all the other residents. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff or the manager, they give 100%. We need more care homes like Millvina - 5 stars.

The staff and level of care and compassion shown to my dad is fantastic. Since moving into Millvina he is like a new man. No longer distressed or sad which is massively important to us as a family. Can not recommend this care home enough. Thank you to all the hard-working staff for making an atmosphere
that is like one big family. You have become a part of our family.

Can’t praise Millvina enough! The love and care they give my grandad is 100% the only place he has settled in 12 months and I know he feels safe and looked after. I can’t recommend this care home enough.

This is the most outstanding care home I have ever seen. It is a state-of-the-art building with every facility for people with Dementia. The cleanliness is second to none, the care and attention is incredible by dedicated professional staff all who work so hard to look after our mother. The rooms are
bright airy and each with its own wet room ensuite. This is more like a Hotel with 5-star care from the amazing staff and management. Every care home should look like this and have the same cleanliness routine that is in place in the home. My family have been treated with the utmost respect and we are continually being updated on the welfare of my mother.

My Dad has been in care since June 2018 when my Mum sadly passed away.
He had previously been in 2 care homes before arriving in Millvina House on 13th March 2020 after discharge from hospital.
The level of care he has been given since arriving in Millvina has been superb and we couldn't ask for
better for him.
To get through this pandemic with zero cases of COVID says all there needs to be said about their level of care and professionalism in the way they look after our loved ones.
I saw my Dad for the first time since the lockdown started in March last Wednesday and he looked really good in himself and has obviously been well cared for and the staff were lovely with him. He looks much happier and I am sure he feels safe and secure in Millvina and this is down to the wonderful staff there.
My family and I can't thank them enough and I would highly recommend Millvina House to anybody looking for quality care for their loved ones.
