The managers seem nice and friendly the facilities are clean when going into the building. Tthey do food and drinks at the care home.

Overall, it is a wonderful home.

The care home provides a modern, safe, tastefully furnished facility for residents who immediately feel welcomed within their new home environment. From our tentative enquiries through the highly professional residential support team, to the warm welcome and continuous support Mum has received from well-trained, committed, and genuinely caring staff, every aspect of the care provided has been highly efficient. Deewater Grange has provided a safe home for Mum with some of the most dedicated and compassionate staff you could wish for. Thank you on behalf of all our family for caring for Mum and making us all feel so welcome - by name - every time we visit.

I like my stay in Deewater so far. The rooms are all clean, the staff are pleasant and I like the food as well. No complaints.

My mother recently moved into Deewater Grange after falling at home and spending time in hospital. My initial visit to Deewater demonstrated to me that Mum's well-being would be in safe hands. After 4 week, my initial feelings about the suitability of Deewater have been totally vindicated and Mum is now much happier and in a better position physically than she was. The staff and management were extremely helpful and supportive in ensuring a smooth transition for Mum from hospital to Deewater with the minimum of drama. Mum's room is lovely and food excellent. All staff are so friendly and helpful. My dog enjoys her visits too.

Five-star care was provided to my mother during her time at Deewater Grange. The staff were attentive, friendly and caring from day one. As her needs changed the level of care was quickly and professionally adapted. Facilities at the home were excellent and the home is well run. Spotlessly clean without being too clinical. Always had a welcome homely feel.

My father has made a remarkable recovery while at Deewater, much of which is thanks to the quality of nursing and the excellent food he has received throughout. I would highly recommend the care at Deewater to others.

Our stay has been very relaxing because we are not on medication, and we feel safe here. The staff are extremely caring and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable, and the food is excellent.

The home is very welcoming and friendly. Mum receives excellent care and the staff really do look after her well. Any medical issues are seen to straight away. The is a lot of space and room so Mum can go walking around without being hemmed in. All the staff know everyone's name so adds to the friendliness. Good range of activities.

It is the only facility Mum has been where I feel confident her needs are anticipated and fully met and that she is truly cared for. I can trust the staff completely, which reassures me and greatly reduces any anxiety my dad or I have about her health or care needs. I am delighted with Deewater Grange. It is exceptional.

My husband received respite care for two weeks and I was most impressed not only by the professionalism of the staff but also by their instant engagement with his needs and wellbeing as an individual. As a frequent visitor, the staff always made me feel welcome at any time and happy to discuss any queries and give helpful advice. I would have no hesitation in returning.

I chose this care home for my mum because of its staff, facilities and activities. My mother has only been a resident for two weeks and I am pleased that I did. From booking Mum in, to moving her in, to visiting her, to see how she is getting along, I have found the staff to be friendly and helpful at all times. My only couple of suggestions would be that it would be very helpful to have a 'key worker' assigned to Mum. Someone that she can build trust and a relationship with, someone who is a key contact for me to discuss issues, answer questions and give feedback on Mum's progress. A welcome pack may have been useful too, with all the forms for me to complete held within it, as well as contact details of people, address and telephone numbers. I would also be grateful for the phone in Mum's area to be kept to hand so that it can be answered. I was given a phone number to reach Mum, but I found that on a number of occasions it has continually rung and not been answered. A fab home still!

It is such a weight off our minds knowing how happy our aunt is at Deewater Grange, seeing her so content and well cared for they are like one big family of their own in Deewater and we could not ask for anything more from them.

From my first contact with Deewater Grange, the communication has been excellent. The Customer Service Manager was so helpful in arranging Mum's admission at short notice and very clear about all the documentation needed to enable this to happen. I felt she really cared and that we were working together to make this happen, despite the challenge of the home being in lockdown at the time which meant I couldn't visit! When I did get into the home after lockdown I was delighted with the facilities and my Mum's room, as she is too. She loves sitting by her patio door looking onto the garden and is starting to make friends with other residents thanks to encouragement and activities laid on, by the staff. She tells me the food is excellent and when I visit the staff always offer to bring me a drink. The best aspect for me is the caring nature of the management and staff and the ease with which I can communicate with them with regard to my mum's needs.

After being discharged from hospital my mother was unable to fend for herself and with limited support needed a care home as soon as possible. Deewater Grange looked impressive with all the amenities that I would wish for in a care home so I contacted the Customer Relations Manager. The Customer Relations Manager talked me through the admissions process expertly and addressed all my concerns including the rules around Covid. Negative PCR test prior to admission followed by 14 days isolation before being allowed into the communal areas and meeting other residents. It has taken my mum time to settle in but she now feels safe and secure in her well-appointed room with a patio and is beginning to enjoy the social activities, facilities, and company. The staff are exceptional, incredibly caring, friendly, and responsive. Health and wellbeing are continually monitored by the staff and weekly by the Doctor with a call to myself if they have any concerns. Great facilities with high standards of care and hygiene, highly recommended.

I needed to find a really good home for my mum very quickly to recover from a broken ankle operation. I turned up at Deewater Grange and the Customer Services Manager was amazing. She explained everything to me; we acted very quickly and I trusted her. My mum moved in 3 days later. There were a couple of minor issues to start with but these were resolved very quickly. My mum has been very happy at Deewater. The staff are very caring and responsive; they showed an interest in her and she built some lovely relationships. There is a choice of food and it is very good. The home is very clean and it is kept to a high standard. She enjoys meeting her visitors in the coffee shop. Following her two weeks isolation due to the strict Covid rules the home applies, she was able to use more of the excellent facilities and meet other residents. My mum’s recovery has been so good and I am sure the lovely staff and wonderful environment have been a significant contributory factor.

Deewater has exceeded our expectations. All of the staff are exceptional, from housekeeping to management, everyone acknowledges you upon arrival and are so approachable, nothing is too much trouble. Our mother has settled into the beautiful surroundings and her room is delightful; tastefully designed, light and modern, with an air of serenity. Our mother enjoys the varied and interesting menu and is occupied by a wide variety of activities to fill her days. As a family we feel fully supported by all the staff and communication between family and staff is excellent. Deewater has excellent facilities for its residents including a cinema room and ‘coffee shop’ and the wonderful presence of Mabel, the resident dog, makes this home feel truly like a home from home.

Mum was admitted to Deewater Grange Care Home in July 2021. After a couple of weeks of adjustment, she has settled very well. The staff have made her very welcome and introduced her to other residents, which has given her a sense of belonging. Mum now calls Deewater Grange home. The admission process was fairly straightforward, especially during and considering the pandemic. The facilities are lovely, well maintained and very clean. We have a very high comfort level that Mum is very safe with the level of security in place at Deewater Grange. Her health and well-being are addressed continually and we are kept informed regularly. The few very minor issues that we have had during Mum's settling-in period have all been addressed speedily, efficiently, and pleasantly. We could not ask for Mum to be in a better facility than Deewater Grange.

After the stress of going round in circles with various organisations, trying to find appropriate care for my mother-in-law, who suffers from dementia, it was a welcome relief to find Deewater Grange Care Home. The customer relations manager, from the moment she became involved, could not have done more for us or been more calm, competent, and reassuring. The staff are lovely and created a genuinely interested and welcoming atmosphere for my mother-in-law upon arrival, arranging the personalisation of her living space with her own pictures, furniture, and belongings, and keeping us in touch with how she was settling in. The staff also have the particular skills necessary to manage dementia sufferers; I cannot recommend the team highly enough. At present, there are also very strict procedures in place to prevent Covid from entering the home.
