My mother came to live at Mornington Court in August. She was greeted by a very caring team who had prepared her a lovely meal. After the somewhat traumatic time she had had prior to her arrival this couldn’t have been nicer or more welcoming for her. Mum has a lovely en-suite room leading straight out onto the very peaceful garden and indeed all the facilities are of the highest quality and standard. The lounge area is a key hub to the home and I am delighted that very often when I ring Mum she is rarely in her room. She is in the lounge enjoying the company of other residents more often than not! One of the key worries we had as a family when Mum was living on her own was loneliness - Mornington Court has addressed that for us as there is a varied activity program that residents can join in with. What we now have as a family is peace of mind - the level of care at Mornington Court is of the highest standard and we know Mum is in very safe hands. That means everything!
Thank you Jane for taking the time to leave a review. We are so pleased that your mum has settled into life here in the home so well, and that her being with us helped bring peace of mind to you.
I cannot fault Mornington Court. The staff are without fail kind, helpful, warm and caring towards my mother. The management team are proactive and responsive. The environment is welcoming and finished to a high standard. All of Mum's needs are met in a respectful way. The activities programme is varied and interesting. The food and menu choices are excellent.
Thank you, Sue, for the lovely review. We are so pleased that your mum made the move to Mornington Court, she's quickly become a regular at the activities and outings and is excellent at encouraging others.
Mornington Court is a very luxurious care home. It is newly built so is not yet full of residents. My aunt was one of the first to move in. She settled in very well and the care has been tailored to her needs and interests. I am also her attorney and the staff have kept me well informed. This home wants to be an active part of the community and I am sure once Covid is put in its place, this will be a great asset.
Thank you Dee for taking the time to leave a review. We are all so pleased you chose Mornington Court for your aunt, she's adored here.
Our whole family has been treated with such kindness by the staff of Mornington Court. My parents-in-law moved into the home in May, warmly welcomed by the staff, and have been well cared for with their individual wishes catered for as far as possible. Although only there for a short time before his death in August, my father-in-law’s increasing needs were met, and communication with the family was excellent. This level of care has continued for my mother-in-law. I would whole-heartedly recommend Mornington Court to families looking for care for their loved ones.
Thank you Virginia for taking the time to leave a review and for the kind words. The whole team adored your father-in-law and miss him greatly. We are pleased we can continue supporting your mother-in-law and the family. We look forward to seeing you on your next visit.
It is never easy picking facilities like this that will match to your own very personal needs but I would say they are going the extra mile for us.
The rooms are spacious, extremely well presented with good quality furnishings.
The public rooms, cinema, and dining area are also lovely as well as very inviting.
A nice walk in the gardens with plenty of places to sit is always fun, especially on a sunny day.
Keep up the good work Mornington Court.
Thank you Paul for the lovely review, it has been a pleasure getting to know and support the family. We look forward to seeing you again soon.
I can't rate the staff and the facilities highly enough. Nothing is too much trouble and everything is always done promptly with a smile. I attended the fantastic Halloween event which included the creepy creatures experience, my mum even touched the snake, something she's always been terrified of! Friday night drinks and canapés is a lovely idea and truly makes life feel normal and differentiate the week from the weekend. On a more practical note, there seems to be an excellent relationship between the home and the local GP practice ensuring efficient health care. Well done to everyone at the home for introducing a wonderful facility to New Milton.
Thank you for the lovely feedback. We are so pleased that your mum has settled into life here in the home so well, it's a pleasure to have her as a resident.
My mother (95) recently attended Mornington Court in New Milton for one week for a respite break. Leading up to admission, it was very clear that the staff were taking my mother's care very seriously and they contacted me frequently to make sure that they knew everything about mum, before her admission. It was clear that they wanted to make her stay as comfortable as possible. Mum had a fabulous time and comments frequently about how the staff "popped in" to tell her what was going on, or just to have a chat. The food was marvellous and they even catered for her "warm fresh orange juice" which is her preferred drink. She loves to chat and there was plenty of opportunity for that and for her to join in with the activities. Mum doesn't like to be away from home, but she is now looking forward to another respite break in November. She was looked after very, very well and I have no hesitation in recommending Mornington Court for your family and friends.
Thank you for the kind words. The whole team look forward to seeing you both again in November.
Mornington Court has helped me recover from an extended period in hospital. The staff, facilities and food were all top class. I enjoyed the activities and the highly trained staff who were always on hand to help. The food was adjusted to suit my taste and was of a high standard. If I ever need this type of help again I would use Mornington Court.
Thank you for the kind words, it was a pleasure supporting you during your recovery. We'd love to welcome you back in the future.
He stayed for four weeks receiving respite care and on departure he had made a remarkable recovery toward being fitter and healthier.
Thank you to all the wonderful staff, if we need such a service again, we would only consider Mornington Court.

WHAT I DO: I am excited to support the General Manager and the rest of the Mornington Court team in my role as Deputy Manager.
I am passionate about ensuring that our team are providing the best care for our residents and enriching our residents’ lives. I love to see our residents thriving in the environment.
I enjoy mentoring the team and seeing them grow in confidence and their roles.
MY EXPERIENCE: I have a background in retail management for many years. I took a chance in 2016 and changed my career to work in the care sector and never looked back- I wish I had done it sooner. I joined Mornington Court in 2021. I have held different roles: Senior Care Assistant, Team Leader, Care Co-Ordinator and now with a promotion to Deputy Manager. I hold my level 5 diploma in leadership for health and social care.
ABOUT ME: I grew up in New Milton, living aboard for 5 years when I got married and my husband was in the British Army. Outside of work, I enjoy walks at the beach or in the forest with my Siberian Husky. I found a real passion for gardening during the pandemic, and love to get gardening advice from our residents.

What I do:
What I do: My role puts me as the first point of contact when a family and prospective resident contact the home enquiring about the services and support we deliver supporting family & residents during what can be a difficult time, for a lot of people they have never had to think about care home for their loved ones or themselves, and it can feel quite overwhelming, I find it so important to really find out what it is they want and what they need, so I can help guide them the best I can, and sometimes just to sit and listen.
My Experience:
I have previously worked many years in events and Entertainment, working with people has always been a passion of mine, Joining Cinnamon almost 2 years ago has been a wonderful experience, helping and guiding families through every aspect, and finally getting to see how settled and happy they are after moving to Mornington Court, is extremely rewarding. Getting to know our residents and their families, has been one of the many highlights of this job.
About Me:
About Me: Away from work, I am planning my wedding to my Fiancé Darren, which is exciting. We have a lovely little dog Marlo, who keeps us quite active, and I love anything to do with the theatre, especially musicals, this stems from my childhood watching the likes of Gene Kelly and Judy Garland, so any chance I get to watch a musical, I am there.

As the Well-being and lifestyle Coordinator at Mornington Court, I have the privilege of bringing joy, purpose, and fulfilment to our residents’ daily lives. My role is all about making a real difference, creating engaging activities, supporting individual interests, and fostering a vibrant, caring community. Helping residents stay active, connected, and happy is truly the most rewarding part of what I do. Every day, I am reminded how special it is to be part of their lives.
My ExperienceI began my career as a qualified hairdresser, earning my Wella certificate, before finding my true calling in the care sector over 15 years ago. During that time, I discovered how much I value supporting and uplifting others. When Cinnamon first opened its doors in 2021, I was proud to be part of the team. Since then, I have dedicated myself to helping residents flourish, building meaningful connections with families, and ensuring that every day at Mornington Court is filled with warmth and purpose.
About MeOutside of work, I enjoy a busy and active lifestyle. I love running, long walks with my four dogs, and spending quality time with my family. Cooking, singing and making people smile are big passions of mine. I cherish every chance to relax and enjoy life’s simple pleasures with the people I love most.

As Head Chef, my priority is to make sure that all residents and the team have a big smile on their face after each service. This is achieved by my team and me delivering meals that not only meet the nutritional needs of each individual resident, but also through our passion and respect for fresh and local produce.
My ExperienceI have been a Head Chef for the last 21 years, working all over the world, with my previous position as Head Chef at a local 4* hotel, Carey’s Manor. I have achieved many accolades and certifications during my career, including a Golden Fork award. I have a Master’s in both baking & pastry as well as culinary arts.
About MeWhen I am not working, I love to read and go to the cinema and to relax I practise Aikido. I also love to have friends and family over for meals … guess who is cooking!!
