Exceptionally helpful staff and management. Very supportive of ours and mums needs. Went over and above on her 92nd birthday.

Staff encourage our input and will answer any question at any time. A very friendly atmosphere in the home.

My mum moved to Harrier House in October 2021. We both knew that she needed to go into care, but after 68 years in one home, we were both dreading it. Everyone was kind and welcoming. The accommodation is first class and access to the patio is a real bonus. after only two weeks Mum decided this was her new home. The manager heads up a team of caring and skilled people who all go the extra mile. I've got my Mum back. Thank you.

I came for a months respite care and after two weeks I knew I could settle down at Harrier House and make it my final home. The carers are lovely and I feel they are part of my family. There is such a variety of food. The activities are amazing. I went out in the garden with my hat and coat on when I arrived back I was welcomed with a hot drink and biscuits. I am perfectly happy and content that this is where I'm going to spend the rest of my life.

We've had a pleasant experience of a day visit and loved the offer of lunch which is a huge factor. Food and service was really delicious and we ate within the pub. Lovely decor and brilliant hotel standards. Staff were all very welcoming and seems happy to be here.

Since being in Harrier House the resident's quality of life has improved dramatically. The management and staff were very helpful and made sure that she settled in well. It has taken a great deal of pressure off us and we know that she is safe and being well cared for.

My grandmother was due to arrive at Harrier House but due to the Covid outbreak throughout the home, it was delayed. The manager informed us immediately, gave us as a family so much support and arranged for grannie to go to the sister home. The manager kept us updated throughout, gave us reassurance and was a friendly voice. She was always at the end of the phone when we needed her. On the day grannie arrived she waited to greet us and made us feel so welcome. We felt at home. She walked grannie to her room.

When I arrived at Harrier House the manager welcomed me, she showed me to my room which I am so happy with - the double bed is so much better for me. I felt like I was in a hotel! The manager had a chat with me and it felt like home. All the staff have been so kind and helped me, they give me a shower every day which is very important to me. The food is lovely, especially the cakes. The staff always offer me a choice and never rush me. I really enjoy being here, they make my family feel so welcome which again is important.

Very pleased with the support and service provided from the very first visit to having my mum arrive. They are caring and helpful and made us feel completely at ease throughout the process. I feel happy my mum is to stay in a safe caring environment. The rooms are such a high standard. The whole place is a credit.

We couldn't fault Harrier House or any of its staff. Our mum is so well cared for it is a huge relief. It is such a massive decision to place your loved ones in a home but we know it is the right one for our mum.
From day 1 we have been included in every part of her care and have been made to feel so welcome.
They are managing to keep our loved ones safe and follow the Covid rules but still allowing us to be a part of their lives, which many care homes don't seem to be able to do.
The care and compassion match the beautiful surroundings. Only the best for our mum and Harrier house provides this. All staff tell you how much they love their job and the residents and this shows.

We are very thankful that we waited till this was up and running and we are grateful for everything they do.

Harrier House is a beautiful residential care home. The rooms are well decorated and spacious with ensuite facilities. We have been made to feel very welcome by all the staff, who are very friendly and caring. My mother has received excellent care there and since leaving hospital has made huge improvements for her condition. She likes the girls who care for her, her room and the outside area with the aviary, where she sits in the gardens. She has also been enjoying the food, especially the fish and chips.
