Harrier House

We refer to Harrier House Care Home as my hotel, I like it there. Would go again and I love how I'm treated.

Mum went into Harrier House on the top floor in November 2021 and the care she has received has been second to none. She settled really quickly (surprising us how smoothly this daunting process went) and has received exceptional care from the wonderful staff. Management are always on hand if we have any queries. Facilities are top drawer - would highly recommend Harrier House to families looking for care for there loved ones.

Find the staff very helpful. It's clean. Mother in law very comfortable and this allows myself and my partner time to go away for short breaks. I cannot fault anything as all seems very good on my visits.

I am very happy. The staff are caring and try to help as much as they can. I tried a different care home before I came to Harrier House but I wasn't happy at all as they didn't cater for my needs. When I moved to Harrier House, I was made to feel very welcome and was accepted as part of the family.

As a family, we could not be happier with the care our mum is receiving at Harrier House. My mum is not the easiest of characters; she is very fixed in her ways, has a very particular diet and can be quite demanding. This has not phased the staff, who have bent over backwards to try and make her comfortable and happy. They really have gone the extra mile!

Mum has just spent two weeks respite Harrier House. She has absolutely loved her stay there and couldn't praise the staff highly enough. She has been very well looked after and wouldn't hesitate in booking future respite care at this home.

My mother has just received two weeks' respite care at Harrier House. We cannot fault any single item about her stay. She received over and above loving care. She came out a new woman, we will be using Harrier House again and would recommend this place to anyone. It was like a 5-star hotel. The staff are amazingly kind and thoughtful.

Absolutely brilliant - the staff are so attentive, caring and my dad has been so much happier since he went into Harrier House. Staff are always on hand and brilliant. Would definitely recommend this home.

Mum moved in a week before Christmas and the home is marvellous. Staff are excellent, management the same. The interior and atmosphere are second to nine. Residents are not left to their own devices. There are regular activities with a dedicated member of staff, who organises them. All in all, the care homes appear to have the policy of excellence in all aspects.

I could not be happier with the total care and consideration given to my mother by the staff and management of Harrier House. The home itself is beautiful, Mum's room is large, bright and beautifully decorated. The attention to detail is great, and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. I feel very happy knowing I've entrusted my lovely mum to such caring people.

My aunty has been in Harrier House since November. The home is 5-star standard and is by far the best home I have experienced over the last year. The staff are excellent and cannot do enough for their residents and their families. I have experienced first-hand the support the staff provide to family, recognising that this can be a difficult time. I would have no hesitation in recommending Harrier House to anyone looking for residential care.

Absolutely outstanding! All the staff are caring, professional and a joy to be around when visiting. My father-in-law has gained weight and is so much more happy and relaxed.

The manager and team have been fantastic in welcoming our father into this wonderful establishment. Nothing has been too much trouble and the transition has been faultless. The staff are incredibly positive and polite and as a family we are extremely happy and confident that Harrier House have the residents' interests at heart.

When we dropped my Grandparents off at Harrier House I couldn't believe how homely, clean and lovely the home is. We then met the staff who were so incredibly kind and full of warmth. I felt as though we were taking my Grandparents to a lovely hotel. The staff were so caring and helpful. They made what could have been a very sad day a really positive experience.

I have previous experience of the care system whilst employed by a well-known charity. My mother is law is recently in Harrier House. Not only is it wonderful but the level of care is dignified and of excellent standing. It is well led by the manager and her staff.

We have been so appreciative of the care that has been shown to my parents and ourselves in the last couple of months. The staff and facilities at Harrier House are amazing and I would recommend the home to anyone who needs genuine care for their parents (in our care).

I don't have anything but praise for the staff at Harrier House, who are all are professional, polite, efficient and very helpful. They were kind and reassuring which made settling our parents into the home as stress free as possible, in what could have been an extremely stressful time for all involved. There is a very caring attitude throughout the home, which is very well equipped, nicely furnished and appears to be faultlessly maintained. The manager and her staff have gone out of their way to help our aunt transition from supported living to Harrier House. They have consistently been kind, generous, practical and caring to our aunt and us as a family, she has settled very well during this first week of her residence. We are immensely grateful.

Such a positive experience for both my dad and the family. As a family we were desperately searching for an alternative care home, then we came across Harrier House. The management team and staff have been amazing. It was so refreshing to be met with such professionalism, enthusiasm and a genuine interest in my Dads well being and care. This wonderful place truly deserves a 5-star review in all aspects of the care and attention to detail of it. After a long search and many sleepless nights, our family know we made the right choice with Harrier House, we now sleep at night knowing the high standard of care our Mum gets with them. When you walk in the warm friendly atmosphere is everywhere.
