So many caring for me, everything is beautiful and I came on respite and will definitely return. They plan daily activities for everyone so much to do and so much to choose. Mostly I found the really kind carers the most impressive!
Thank you so much for taking the time to review our home, we really appreciate it. It was a pleasure to have you here at Hendon Hall and we look forward to you returning for another holiday soon. Best wishes.
My father has been at Signature for over 2 years. He is very well cared for and very happy. The staff are excellent. It doesn't feel like a care home, more like a 5-star hotel.
Thank you Suzanne for your lovely feedback. We love having your father here; he's one of a kind!
Everyone I have encountered at Signature Hendon Hall is joyous, caring, courteous and relaxed in what they do and efficient, cajoling if need be. The feel of the place is wonderful. Thank you for exising.
Thank you so much for taking the time to complete a review and with such lovely compliments. We really appreciate it and will pass on your feedback. Thanks again.
Signature is a great setting for a care home. It's interior is like a nice hotel and helps residents to feel like they are having a luxurious experience. The staff are wonderful, always going above and beyond. You feel safe leaving your loved ones in their care.
Thank you so much for your amazing feedback and kind words about our home and our staff! We appreciate it and will pass on the message!
An excellent, luxurious and caring environment with staff of the highest quality who put the residents first and make them feel very special. Such standards of care give huge comfort to family members knowing their relative is being so well cared for. My only criticism is the food which is often quite unappealing and not very tempting. It shouldn't be difficult to improve the food.
Thank you so much for your lovely feedback about our home and care! We do have 3 choices of mains during lunch service and 2 choices of mains during dinner service. We also have the light bites menu throughout the day which is another option. We are not aware of any food concerns from your relative so will go and speak with her to see if we can offer food choices more to her liking.
Signature at Hendon together with its team really is an amazing place and I now have peace of mind that my mother is in the best possible place.
Thank you so much for this lovely message. We are very grateful and delighted mum was able to come back to us after her hospital stay. Best wishes to you and the family.
The staff were attentive as much as they could be as Mum spent time in her room initially.
She then enjoyed the outdoor areas when the weather allowed it.
All in all, she was really well looked after.
Thank you so much for your lovely review! We will pass your feedback on to all of our staff. We are so glad mum's getting better and will continue to look after her at Hendon Hall!
Our mother has been suffering with dementia for the past few years and having tried care at home we couldn't manage looking after her safely and well enough to keep her happy. Reluctantly we decided to move her to a care home where dementia care has a good reputation. Mum moved into Signature at Hendon Hall in February. It's not been an easy move for any of us but we see that Mum is very well looked after and as the dementia is getting worse and Mum gets harder to manage the carers are always supportive to Mum and to us too. We feel Mum is stimulated by the activities and events there and she enjoys the food. So all in all it has given us some peace of mind and we can visit her and leave her there feeling she is in the best possible place for her now.
Thank you so much for your lovely review and we appreciate you taking your time to support other people's decision-making when they are looking at a home for themselves/their loved ones. It's a pleasure to have your mum here with us at Hendon Hall and it's always great to have catchups with you and your family when you visit!
The elegant surroundings allow family members and friends to feel at ease when visiting. All the carers and nurses are fantastic; warm, engaging, sympathetic and patient. My father only spent a short time at Signature but we had no hesitation to use Signature again in January 2024 when my mother had a fall and needed a safe space to recuperate after the hospital. Mum’s room was bright, and contemporary and had a small living room which was perfect for visiting. When she felt stronger Mum thoroughly enjoyed the cinema room and having a spa bath. We would like to convey a huge thank you to all the staff who looked after her.
Thank you very much for taking the time to write such a lovely message. Your kind words will be forwarded to the team. Best wishes.
I was able to invite friends for a private lovely afternoon tea which was greatly enjoyable.
I would recommend Hendon Hall both as a live-in care home and for respite. Thank you, Hendon Hall.
Thank you so much for your kind review, your comments will be passed to the team. It was so lovely having you here with us and are welcome to visit any time. All the best to you and your family.
The improvement was almost immediate and palpable.
The care has been outstanding.
Thank you very much for taking the time to submit a review; we really appreciate it. It has been great to see the improvement. Best wishes to you.
I first got in touch with the manager in the summer and she was very kind and friendly. She understood our needs and explained everything in detail. My brother-in-law and husband had a look at the home for both their parents originally. Now my father-in-law has lived there since November. I visit regularly and love the place. I have fun having drinks, coffee and lunches with him. The only sad thing is that my dear mother-in-law didn’t make it there. The manager was amazing and so is everyone else who looks after him now.
Thank you so much for your kind words, it has been lovely working with you and being able to offer such a fantastic environment for your father-in-law, who is a delight to care for. Best wishes to you and the family.
I would like to thank the staff at Signature at Hendon Hall for organising a wonderful birthday party in the function room for family and friends. The services, ambience and food were comparable to any five-star restaurant. An enjoyable occasion for all.
Thank you for taking the time to feedback after the birthday party. Your kind comments will be passed on to the team. Much appreciated.
We have heard from one or two of the guests that the food is not very good, but have not experienced this. When we visit we on occasions have coffee and cake which is delicious. The decor is like a five star star hotel and 'Care Home'
could not be a better description for Hendon Hall. If there was one thing my husband would improve upon, it would be that the lighting is a bit stark in the rooms. We firmly believe the facility should get top marks.
Thank you very much for your lovely review and valuable feedback. With regards to lighting, as our apartments come unfurnished, our residents have a choice of what lighting they bring with them. We know different people have different preferences with regards to the décor and finishes they prefer. Your lovely friend is a most valued member of our community and we are happy to have her here.
I am very impressed with the care for my 96-year-old mother. All the care staff are warm, fun, friendly and always attentive to my mother’s needs. The facilities at Signature are first class, with beautiful lounges and a restaurant with a splendid cinema and bar. My mother really enjoys being stimulated each day by the entertainment and activities, all of which result in her having a big smile on her face whenever I visit. Thank you, Hendon Hall.
It's wonderful to get such positive feedback, and I'll be sure to share this with the team. We absolutely adore having your mum here with us!
My father recently moved in to Signature at Hendon Hall and I have to say that all the staff handled his admission and care with great professionalism and kindness.
His first month at Signature has been really positive and hopefully he will continue to enjoy his ‘new home’.
It's so helpful for families looking for care to read reviews to help them decide upon which home to choose. So thank you very much for taking the time to write this, it's appreciated.
The team at Signature Hendon Hall have all been helpful and supportive in getting our Dad settled. The pre and post-administration was done to the highest level of efficiency. Our father is enjoying all that his new home has to offer; long may it continue.
We really appreciate your kind comments, thank you. Dad is settling in nicely with the rest of the residents, it's good to see. All the best.
Dad is choosing to experience a variety of new activities. Prior to moving in, he was walking less and missed socialising. At Hendon Hall, he has met nice people, feels happy and safe in his bright, comfortable, air conditioned apartment and is more mobile enjoying this new environment.
Signature has thoughtfully made the early days as supportive as possible and let him ease his way into his new home, providing for all of his needs with respectful care. Last week we hosted a lunch for 10 in the private dining room for his 90th. The food and wine flowed, it was fun and a good time was had by all.
This is a cool place too! It feels like a cross between a luxury cruise ship and a classy country hotel with the facilities to match.
We are really pleased with the way things have gone so far giving us all comfort and confidence for the future.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write such lovely words. We love having Dad with us, he is a delight. Best wishes.
Mum came to Hendon Hall after she was in hospital and needed respite care for 4 weeks initially. She settled in quickly and the carers and staff were friendly, kind, attentive and supportive of her individual health needs. Dad came to visit her every day for two months and they took the decision to both stay at Hendon Hall permanently. Whilst this wasn't an easy decision to make, this has changed their lives for the better. They are always busy with activities, socialising and most importantly they are both well cared for in a safe environment. Thank you to all the staff at Hendon Hall, it is a top-of-the-range care home!
Thank you so much for your kind words, we are delighted to have such a wonderful couple with us at Hendon Hall. We are so glad you and they are happy.
My parents came here after Dad's back surgery. He is Mum's main carer and they were here for three weeks respite. Despite initial misgivings, they have been happy here. Praise to the supportive staff who have only treated them with kindness and dignity so thank you.
Thank you so much for your kind review, we enjoyed having your parents very much. Best wishes to you all.

Meet the Team (4)

I have been working in the care sector for over 20 years, and for over five years now, I have been proud to be part of the Signature family. My journey within Signature has allowed me to experience both sides of Residential Care Management and Hospitality Management giving me a well-rounded perspective on delivering exceptional care and service to residents and their families. In my new role as General Manager at Signature Hendon Hall, I am passionate about ensuring that all residents receive the highest standard of care and support. I believe in fostering a warm, person-centred approach that allows every individual to feel valued and live a fulfilling life. I look forward to getting to know all of the residents and their loved ones personally.

I have been lucky enough to have worked for Signature since 2018 and have had the pleasure of working for this great company, who have encouraged and mentored me to take the next step in my career. I am truly excited to be starting at Hendon Hall, working alongside a caring and empathetic team who all share the same ethos and values for delivering the best care possible. I have worked in the care sector for over 20 years, which has given me a great foundation and understanding to enable me to deliver the highest standards of person-centred care, ensuring our residents enjoy a fulfilling life. I am passionate about ensuring our residents get the best out of every day and believe they can achieve anything with the right support, due care and attention. I feel passionately that our residents and their loved ones receive the right support and holistic advice whilst on their Dementia and Alzheimer’s journey and the team at Hendon Hall offer this support with compassion and dignity in this wonderful and luxurious setting.

After working in the licensed trade for 25 years, I joined Signature at Bentley House, before transferring to Signature at Barnet (now Avery Barnet Grange Care Home) for their opening. During this time, I entered the NACC Chef of The Year competition, reaching the Regional Finals in 2021, 2022 and 2023 and progressing to the National Finals in 2021 and 2023. What I enjoy most about Signature at Hendon Hall is the interaction with the residents. I feel this is a major highlight, as I get to know them individually and can discuss their dietary needs. Doing so, I am about to find out their likes and dislikes, which I can then share with the rest of the kitchen team, therefore providing the best dining experience possible, whilst fulfilling their nutritional requirements.

As the Client Liaison Manager at Hendon Hall since July 2025, I’m thrilled to welcome new residents and showcase our high-quality care and accommodation to the community. I bring two years of experience in the care sector, underpinned by a diverse academic background with degrees in Ecology and Theology. Outside of work, I enjoy staying active on the tennis court and engaging with my church community.
