I have a current family member living at Hendon hall. I have to say the level of care is fantastic. The staff are amazing headed up by a wonderful manager called Orla. She runs the team exceptionally well. Her Attention to detail is amazing always, always lovely Food available and friendly Staff and most of all great care for the residence is exceptional. If you're thinking of a care home, I could not recommend Hendon hall highly enough.
Thank you so much for your lovely review and positive feedback! We strive for the highest care and customer service standards at Hendon Hall and we are so pleased when residents and their families express their satisfaction. You are always welcome to join your family member for coffee, lunch or activities including our cinema.
Very fortunate to have such a great general manager "Philip"!
We really appreciate your great feedback! We were privileged to look after your husband during his stay with us and warmly welcome him back next time you need some respite.
I enjoyed my time here, everything was perfect. Thank you to all the staff I will be back!
Thank you very much for your lovely feedback! We loved having you stay with us and would very much welcome you back to our home. You are always welcome to pop in for a coffee or tea to see us and the friends you made while you were here.
I think the care at Hendon Hall is better than excellent. Everyone is just wonderful I came to see Hendon after my dad passed away and from day 1 to now could not be happier the kindness is second to none.
Thank you so much for your positive feedback. It has been lovely having your mother stay with us and to see her so engaged in the life of the home!
I am delighted to see the home in Hendon is doing well with more residents. Since my mother has been there, more than three years now, the numbers have gone from 22 to 90 residents. Unfortunately the standard of service on reception has declined as there is no way it can cope with the rise in occupants with just one person handling this. I strongly feel there should be two people to acknowledge this. Taking calls, handling visitors etc. has become too much for them.
Thank you very much for your largely positive review Edwina. Our occupancy has indeed increased considerably due to our reputation for outstanding care and luxury facilities. We appreciate your feedback regarding your experience with our reception to help us improve our customer service.
When I arrived after my recent reverse shoulder replacement I was unable to do anything for myself. I was treated with the utmost respect and my dignity which is so important to me was handled with extreme care.
Thank you very much for your fantastic review! We are pleased to hear that you felt respected and treated with dignity which is so central to our values at Signature. You are always welcome to visit - we would love to keep in touch.
Signature at Hendon is a class act in every respect. My mum recently experienced the sudden loss of her daughter, and the support we've received has been exceptional. Under the compassionate, hands-on, and steady leadership of the general manager, the team has gone above and beyond to help my mum and our family cope with this tragedy.
We've also been deeply impressed by the overall level of care-from the dedicated carers and nurses to the attentive food and beverage team. Everyone is clearly well trained and genuinely committed to meeting the diverse needs of residents from all backgrounds and culture.
Today was a lovely social experience for residents to meet the new manager. High tea and prosecco served in a very professional manner.
Thank you so much, we do like a party here. We are very proud of all the team that make Hendon Hall such a wonderful care home. Best wishes.
The change from Hendon Hall hotel to Signature at Hendon Hall has been incredible and captured much of the building's history in warmth and style. The activities, ease, food and atmosphere have been excellent and they have made residents and family very welcome. Client liaison has been very professional and first rate and deal with all issues promptly and in a reassuring way. The team has been very kind and thoughtful in settling mum into the new environment and gone out of their way to help her fit in.
Thank you very much for taking the time to review our home. We really appreciate it and will pass it on to the team. Best wishes.
Amazing care home. The staff are second to none.
Thank you very much for your kind review, which is much appreciated, we will pass it on to the team.
I will never be able to thank the care team at Hendon Hall enough. From the very warm welcome on the day my lovely mum moved in, to her last days, even caring for me who slept in the room with mum for her final five nights. The entire team treated mum with dignity, respect and with such kindness. We enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea to celebrate mum's birthday, again the team helped us create special memories. Hendon Hall is a truly exceptional place.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. It was a pleasure to get to know your mum, we all loved her and miss her.
The home was run magnificently. Remarkably clean with a very friendly and efficient staff.
The ambience and the varied activities all helped the residents to a wholesome life, even the food for a care home was excellent.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review, we really appreciate it.
Hendon Hall is a very caring environment. The staff are always friendly and helpful.
Thank you for your review, Linda! It is much appreciated.
My mum has dementia but is fiercely independent so moving her to a care home has not been an easy decision. The staff have been amazing and my mum talks of how kind they are. This means everything to us, to know she is safe, treated with dignity and respect and warm kindness. The facilities are impressive, there are lots of activities and the food is very, very good. It's very much like a hotel in many respects. I'm so glad she's there.
Thank you so much for your very kind review! It's always great to hear such positive feedback from family members, especially when they see their loved ones thriving in our environment. Of course, it's our pleasure having your mum here at Signature Hendon Hall.
I am so lucky to be here at Hendon Hall. The care and kindness are absolutely faultless and there are just not enough words to express my gratitude. Thank you just doesn't seem enough!
Thank you so much for your kind words which will be passed to the team. We love having you with us.
Very helpful staff who know all the clients. The rooms are spacious and well looked after by the staff. The public rooms are modern and clean and the daily activities are excellent. There is food at any time of the day and the waiters try hard to ensure food is hot and wine is always available.
Thank you so much for such a lovely review. It was great to have you stay with us and hope to see you in the near future!
Signature is an excellent home. The staff are all first-class and the support is available 24 hours a day. I would recommend Signature to all. Keep up the good work.
Thank you so much for your kind review. We truly appreciate it!
The food is good, lovely garden to walk in. Excellent talk on Chagall. Nice friends.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review of our wonderful home; we appreciate it.
I am so impressed by the medical and care staff who go out of their way to support and reassure. They are extremely professional, friendly and a joy to meet. The home is very luxurious with great activities, cinema, entertainment and bridge. I recommend Signature at Hendon Hall unreservedly.
Thank you very much for your kind words, which will be passed on to the team. Your sister-in-law is a joy to care for. Thanks again.
Generally a great facility.
Hello, thank you for taking the time to submit this review. By coincidence, yesterday we had a planning meeting to put together a rehabilitation plan, including a room as you suggest. We appreciate the feedback. Best wishes to you.

Meet the Team (4)

I have been working in the care sector for over 20 years, and for over five years now, I have been proud to be part of the Signature family. My journey within Signature has allowed me to experience both sides of Residential Care Management and Hospitality Management giving me a well-rounded perspective on delivering exceptional care and service to residents and their families. In my new role as General Manager at Signature Hendon Hall, I am passionate about ensuring that all residents receive the highest standard of care and support. I believe in fostering a warm, person-centred approach that allows every individual to feel valued and live a fulfilling life. I look forward to getting to know all of the residents and their loved ones personally.

I have been lucky enough to have worked for Signature since 2018 and have had the pleasure of working for this great company, who have encouraged and mentored me to take the next step in my career. I am truly excited to be starting at Hendon Hall, working alongside a caring and empathetic team who all share the same ethos and values for delivering the best care possible. I have worked in the care sector for over 20 years, which has given me a great foundation and understanding to enable me to deliver the highest standards of person-centred care, ensuring our residents enjoy a fulfilling life. I am passionate about ensuring our residents get the best out of every day and believe they can achieve anything with the right support, due care and attention. I feel passionately that our residents and their loved ones receive the right support and holistic advice whilst on their Dementia and Alzheimer’s journey and the team at Hendon Hall offer this support with compassion and dignity in this wonderful and luxurious setting.

After working in the licensed trade for 25 years, I joined Signature at Bentley House, before transferring to Signature at Barnet (now Avery Barnet Grange Care Home) for their opening. During this time, I entered the NACC Chef of The Year competition, reaching the Regional Finals in 2021, 2022 and 2023 and progressing to the National Finals in 2021 and 2023. What I enjoy most about Signature at Hendon Hall is the interaction with the residents. I feel this is a major highlight, as I get to know them individually and can discuss their dietary needs. Doing so, I am about to find out their likes and dislikes, which I can then share with the rest of the kitchen team, therefore providing the best dining experience possible, whilst fulfilling their nutritional requirements.

As the Client Liaison Manager at Hendon Hall since July 2025, I’m thrilled to welcome new residents and showcase our high-quality care and accommodation to the community. I bring two years of experience in the care sector, underpinned by a diverse academic background with degrees in Ecology and Theology. Outside of work, I enjoy staying active on the tennis court and engaging with my church community.
