Mum had a three week respite stay. The warm and friendly atmosphere at Fosse Way View is evident from the moment you arrive. The staff are caring and professional. There is clearly good leadership from the management and a very positive team ethos. Everyone welcomed mum with a smile, nothing seemed to be too much trouble and everyone was keen to make sure that mum felt happy and comfortable from the outset. They were all very mindful of her personal needs and preferences, and there was no pressure for her to mingle or join in if she preferred not to. The accommodation is first class. The home is beautifully appointed throughout with spacious en-suite rooms. I understand that the catering is of a high standard - Mum described the meals as absolutely delicious. We felt confident that mum would be well looked after - and she was. Although not quite ready to make a permanent move, she is looking forward to staying again for another respite break.

Fosse Way View Care Home is an exceptional care facility. After looking at several in the area we were very happy to let my mother-in-law stay here, initially for respite. All the staff are friendly with genuine care in their hearts. The rooms are exceptional, modern, clean and well maintained. The care is so outstanding that after three weeks back in her own home my mother-in-law decided to move in permanently - must be good!

My mum has now been living at Fosse Way View since it opened and she has come to view it as her home. The staff are her friends and she feels exceptionally safe and well cared for. Nothing is too much trouble - no matter how large or small the request is. The facilities are excellent including the beautiful garden area where residents and visitors enjoy activities and social occasions. They are treated to afternoon tea, BBQs and other celebration events. Mum's health and well-being are top priority and the links with local health care providers are excellent. The home engages well with the community and is ever looking for further opportunities to extend its network. I would recommend Fosse Way View without reservation

Mum has now stayed twice at Fosse Way View Care Home. Once when it first opened and again in May/June this year. Both visits were for "respite care" although she very much regards it as a holiday. Mum is a very young at heart and active 96 year old normally living independently in her own home. She does sometimes feel lonely at home and craves companionship and company. Fosse Way View Care Home is able to offer this in abundance. The staff are all so kind and there is always someone to talk to. Mum's last visit encompassed the Queens jubilee holiday and the home was also celebrating its first birthday, lots of parties and lots going on, it suited Mum to a tee. She even had a dance she informs me. Her room was well equipped very clean and comfortable as is the rest of the home. The permanent residents are all very friendly and Mum has made some good friends whilst she's been with you. She looks forward to her next "holiday" and I know she will be well cared for. Thank you all.

In mum's own words "I don't know what they could do to make it any better!" The home is truly 5 star. The quality of the facilities is 'hotel-like'. Yet the staff are so friendly and attentive that it has a homely feel too. Really great find and highly recommended.

I came to Fosse Way View Care Home over Christmas because I didn't want to be alone. The staff were excellent and the home was beautiful, not all residents took part in the activities. I would have liked more entertainment. I would come again and recommend it to my friends.

My mother - aged 95 - steadfastly refused to consider a move into care, until her falls became more regular. She loves being at Fosse Way View Home Care - she cannot praise the staff highly enough. Loves the food and her room - talk about being a happy bunny"!

Due to community care agency being unable to visit the service user at home, an emergency placement for respite care was organised in Fosse Way View Care Home. The service user has been treated with dignity and respect and they have maintained her independence. She has enjoyed her experience and the beautiful rooms and facilities. She has enjoyed all her meals. Her experience has dismissed some of her fears and anxieties about care homes.

It was sad when my grandmother could no longer live at home, but I have to say that she could not be in better hands!
From what I have seen on my visits so far, the staff are extremely diligent and hard-working, genuinely care about the residents and take their jobs seriously. They are also very welcoming to visitors too and never hesitate to offer a cup of tea - a very small thing, but getting the basics right matters a lot!
As for my grandmother, she has improved considerably recently which can in no small part be down to the extremely high calibre of staff.

I'd like to commend the staff for the exemplary quality of care they provide - it means so much to know my grandmother is being looked after by dedicated professionals. Keep it up!

As a nurse myself I can be very critical of care homes and hospitals but I can honestly say that the care mum has received over the last five months has been exemplary. Mum had been in and out of hospital following falls and infections and was deteriorating with every admission. However, since being at Fosse Way View she has gone from strength to strength. All the staff are kind and considerate and treat mum with total respect. The home is extremely well managed and it is evident that the staff really like working there.

My mother has now been a resident for five weeks. She has been made to feel very welcome and as a result, she seems to have settled well. The staff are both kind and attentive, and she is treated with dignity and respect. Her room is well equipped and attractive, providing a pleasing environment and the food (mum says) is both plentiful and of good quality. All in all mum and I are most impressed.
