Beautifully designed into 4 independent communities, Fosse Way View benefits from additional hotel services and facilities on the ground floor so that members from each community can meet up to socialise, enjoy leisure and wellbeing sessions, watch a movie or be pampered with a new hairdo or beauty treatment.
All bedrooms are uncommonly large, beautifully decorated and furnished to the highest standard, every bedroom has its own fully en-suite bathroom with a full wet-room facility; for Residents who prefer a bath, there are a number of beautifully appointed spa bathrooms where they can luxuriate in a bath full of bubbles with the aromas of essential oils creating a relaxing experience. On the ground floor, there is a small number of patio bedrooms, ideal for the avid gardener, sun worshipper or those who like to keep an eye on what’s going on!

My mother in law came into Fosse Way for two weeks respite care while we went on holiday. When I came to collect her she didn't want to leave - so didn't! She realised how lonely she had been at home and she really wasn't looking after herself enough. "Where else am I going to get the care and help I get here?" were her exact words. So a short visit back to her home to get some personal effects and she is all moved in. Cannot rate the home highly enough.
From our initial enquiry and visit we all knew our mother would be comfortable, well looked after and importantly "happy". All staff are caring and take a genuine interest to ensure the needs of the residents are taken care of, including visitors. Thank you to all for looking after our mum so well...

Introducing Liz WoodResidence Manager
“For me, kind care is putting yourself in someone’s place andtreating them as you would wish to be treated.”
Having originally started as a Kitchen Assistant, Liz has gained more than 30 years of experience in providing care and support for elderly people to enrich their lives. She is a committed leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards of care and quality of life for Residents.
After being with HC-One for a number of years, most recently managing Beauvale Care Home just down the road, Liz shares the company’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She uses her extensive knowledge to motivate her team to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.
She also works hard to arrange events and activities with nearby schools and church groups and is always keen to include the local community in life at Fosse Way View.
When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Liz remarked:
“It means everything to me to see our Residents happy and well cared for.”
Outside of work, Liz enjoys travelling abroad, eating out and dog walks.
