The moment I arrived I was made to feel very welcome. The staff can't do enough for you, they are very friendly and helpful. The home is run very efficiently and you can have pets come.

5. I would wish to stay in room 21 my present room
Thank you for taking the time to send a review, we are so pleased you are so happy with us and we would love to have you stay for as long as you want!
Wonderful, caring and friendly environment. The staff can't do enough to make my father feel comfortable. He has specific requirements and they do everything they can to accommodate his needs. I feel completely happy leaving my father in their care. The home is more like a large family than a care home, which is just what I want for my father.
A big part of our admissions process is investigating any future resident’s needs so that we know how we can best support them. That way you can feel assured that the home is able to give your loved one all the care and support they need, and it’s so gratifying when we hear that it’s paying off....
Lovely staff, very friendly and helpful, really looked after my dad.
Thank you for taking the time to send a review, we really appreciate it.
Mum was a resident at Littleton Lodge for almost two years and in that time I cannot fault the care she was given. The home itself is warm and welcoming and is more akin to a luxury hotel. The facilities are second to none and all rooms decorated to a high quality. I found all the staff devoted and caring to all Mum's needs. Working as a team, the staff also encourage families to visit and join in with the numerous activities. Thank you all so much for making us all feel part of Mum's Littleton Lodge family.
Thank you for such a glowing review! We are very proud of both our facilities and our wonderful team here at Littleton Lodge and to hear it described as a ‘family’ is just right – you are part of the family and you are welcome to visit at any time.
Littleton Lodge and all the staff are always fantastic whatever time of day you arrive, always a smile and a chat, making you feel at home. The care for everyone is fabulous, and many an activity you can stay and enjoy with your loved one, from bingo to singing and dancing. I can't thank them enough for all the support, help and understanding they've given me and all of the family, especially my nan.
Thank you for taking the time to write such a lovely review; we are so glad that your nan is able to take advantage of the activities we have at Littleton Lodge and that you feel welcome – we are always happy to have you join us!
Our nan has had the best care possible. The home has a warm and friendly atmosphere, and the staff all go above and beyond. We will forever be grateful to everyone in Nan's final days, where she continued to be treated with the highest of dignity, respect and care possible. Littleton Lodge deserves the highest ratings, and I would recommend the home to anyone.
Thank you for your lovely words; we are truly sorry for your loss, but we are grateful to have been a support to your nan and your family at such a difficult time. Your recommendation means a lot to us, and we hope you will feel welcome to come visit and have a cup of tea and reminisce at any time.
The care dad has received since being at Littleton Lodge has been exceptional. He settled into his new way of life a lot quicker than we anticipated due to being made so welcome. The food here is delicious and nutritious, and dad often has seconds! Special thanks to all the staff for making Dad's life comfortable at Littleton Lodge. Our last mention to the front-of-house manager for going above and beyond. Nothing is too much trouble.
Thank you for this fabulous review, it’s great to hear your dad has settled in so well and enjoying the home comforts. We agree with you, our Front-of-House Manager is an absolute star!
Love the plan to take my dad to the football. He's so much happier sitting in the day room, joining in the activities. The carers really treat Dad with respect and make him smile. A really nice touch would be if carers could accompany Dad to help us if he has a long hospital visit.
Thank you for your review, it’s great to hear that your dad is so happy at Littleton. Please, if he has any hospital appointments planned, just let us know, we will always aim to have someone accompany him where possible, as well as arrange transport, it’s an important part of what we do to ensure our residents have an all-inclusive, luxury experience.
Friendly and helpful staff. Pleasant, warm and clean environment catering to Mom's needs.

Everything is done for you. Staff are very helpful and kind.

My mother spent 14 months as a resident at Littleton Lodge during which time she thrived. The standard of accommodation and service has been excellent, more akin to a luxury hotel. The staff were devoted and caring and the variety of support and entertainment is excellent. I would recommend Littleton Lodge.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review, it’s great to hear that your mother settled so well and that our staff and facilities impressed.
The activity people are always inventing new things for the residents to do keeping the residents active and physically fitter.
Thank you for your feedback, we are so pleased that we are making such a great impression and having a positive impact on our residents.
A very friendly welcome soon overcame her initial trepidation. The carer's attention helped her to settle in. It was good to know that she was safe, being looked after with care, and respect and being treated with dignity. Any problems were dealt with efficiently and without fuss. This well-appointed care home, the many activities, excellent food and wonderful caring staff are simply the best. I could not hope for anywhere better.
Thank you for your feedback, we will pass your comments on to our team. We know it is so important when a loved one moves into a care home to feel that they are safe and well cared for, and we are so pleased to hear that Littleton Lodge gave you that reassurance. Staff brilliant and friendly.
We really appreciate you taking the time to leave this lovely review for our team at Littleton Lodge, thank you!
Littleton Lodge is the most wonderful lodge you could wish your loved one to be in when needs must. Apart from it being a new build establishment, the facilities are second to none and the building itself has been so well thought out, from layout to decor to the garden. The staff are so approachable welcoming and caring and truly work as an extended family to your own. The food is beautiful and as a relative said 'it's like the Ritz'! Our relative is so happy in her place and is 'at home' with themselves at Littleton Lodge. I would highly recommend this beautiful place to anyone. Lovely people, first-class residency.
I have really been made to feel welcome from the day I arrived at Littleton Lodge. All the staff and management are very warm and caring and treat me with dignity and respect at all times. My family has always felt welcome and are able to visit me at any time. On the occasions I don't feel very well, the staff always make time for me, and I never feel rushed or that I'm imposing on their time.
It’s great to hear such lovely feedback, thank you! We’re extremely proud of our care team at Littleton Lodge, and all they do for our residents. We’re so glad that you feel you are treated with dignity and respect by our staff, and that your family feel welcome in the home. We hope you continue to enjoy living with us, and feeling part of the Littleton Lodge family.
Mum moved to Littleton Lodge on 4th July 2022 and since this time I cannot find any fault against both home and the staff. Everything is exemplary and excellent. Mum has Alzheimer's and forgets what she has been doing on a daily basis. The social media page is a godsent. I can look each day and see what activities mum has participated in. I can see mum undertaking activities she hasn't done in years. I would recommend Littleton Lodge 100%.
Thank you for taking the time to leave this kind review. It’s so important to our care team at Littleton Lodge that our residents feel encouraged to take advantage of our activities and entertainment facilities, so that they can live each day to its fullest. We’re glad you feel your mum is happy...
They advised they could no longer provide his care despite him having lived there for 2 weeks and no issues arising.
The family should have been consulted and a notice period given. The stress and anxiety on him on the day of his eviction cannot be forgiven.
Our feeling is they were more worried about their reputation than his welfare. Their excuse was "we need to consider welfare of other residents" but he had done nothing to give them any cause for concern during his 2-week stay. After many hours of negotiations, they found him a respite home nearby but was only a short-term solution and would have meant him moving again which was not acceptable and unfair so we declined and brought him to live with family until a permanent place could be found. Decision was inhumane. Formal complaint raised and escalated to CQC.
Thank you for your feedback. There were other elements to the circumstances of this issue that we have discussed with you but that we will not comment on in a public forum. If you would like to discuss this further, please contact our Customer Care team on 0113 465 4000 or email hello@idealcarehomes.co.uk.
