I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Littleton Lodge. Didn't know what to expect never having done this before. I was more than surprised. It was more like a hotel than a care home. Would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
Thank you for taking the time to leave this lovely review. The care team at Littleton Lodge are dedicated to giving the best care to our residents, so it’s heartwarming to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. We’re so grateful for your recommendation – we’ll be sure to pass on your kind words to the team at the home.
This care provider can consider itself more a family home than a care facility. The staff are friendly, and considerate and have the residents well being as a top priority. The home is only a year old it is bright, modern and always spotlessly clean - a credit to the staff. I cannot comment on food or activities as covid has provided a real challenge. But now the home is opening its doors and 'breathing'
Thank you for leaving this review. At Littleton Lodge, we do consider ourselves a family and our care team love to go above and beyond to welcome residents and their families, so it’s great to hear you happy with the care we provide.
My wife stayed from Monday 28th March to Monday 11th April 2022 while I had a short break from being her 24/7 carer for the past several months. As a family, we felt we made a good choice my wife had a few health issues prior to staying culminating in the paramedics taking her to hospital on three occasions during this time the staff looked after my wife very well.
Thank you for taking the time to leave this feedback for our care staff at Littleton Lodge. We’re glad to hear you and your family are happy with the care our team provided to your wife. We hope you’re both doing well, but please do not hesitate to contact us if you need further assistance. Thank you.
What a wonderful environment full of so much joy. I filled in the questionnaire with my mother - we both agreed that excellent is the only word to describe Littleton Lodge and the fantastic staff. She is so happy here. Thank you!
Thank you for leaving such a positive review for our staff at Littleton Lodge. We are so proud of our staff for constantly going above and beyond to provide person-centred care. I’ll be sure to pass your kind words on to the team at Littleton Lodge.
Stay is very good. Meals are very good.
Thank you for taking the time to review Littleton Lodge and for your kind words. I will be sure to share your feedback with the team.
Not recommended for Dementia Care. Littleton Lodge state that they provide Dementia Care, so we booked Dad in for a 2 week respite stay, with a view to extending this to long term if appropriate. After a few days, advised by the centre manager that his level of dementia (medium) was more than they could accommodate (even though we did describe his condition very thoroughly during the assessment interview), and they were concerned about how his behaviour was affecting other residents. Very limited respite to family, telephone conversations consisted of reading his issues – left us feeling guilty and anxious that he was a challenge to them. Home itself is immaculate and very well-equipped, staff are friendly and accommodating. Infrastructure does not currently allow for differentiation between levels of Dementia care – ideal for general residential care, but unable to support more challenging behaviours - anything beyond very low level Dementia may be an issue to them.
Thank you for reviewing our home. We value all feedback and take any issues raised extremely seriously. If you would like to discuss anything further, please contact me directly on 0113 385 3578.
Such a lovely welcoming home from home. The staff can't do enough for my dad. He always looks so smart when we pick him up to go out. He smiles more now and thoroughly enjoyed the quiz at the local pub.
Thank you for taking the time to review Littleton Lodge and for your kind words. It is great to hear your dad is receiving the care and support he needs and that he is enjoying the many activities on offer at Littleton Lodge. Especially a wonderful trip out. When I arrived on the first visit everything was bright and you felt everything you could possibly want was there - (very impressive). The staff were kind and helpful and I looked forward to my monthly trial visit and after that decided to move in.

The care in which you all gave my nan during her time at Littleton lodge was second to none. You were all amazing! I will never forget the amazing member of your team who supported her up to wave to her precious great-grandson one last time. You helped us make some precious memories and made sure my Nan smiled. Be proud of what you do and keep going.
Thank you.

I feel Mom is safe and seems happy in Littleton Lodge. Staff are always kind to Mom and helpful to us. The Covid restrictions mean limited visiting, but this is understandable. I feel that we should have sorted a home for Mon a long time ago, but then she may not have been at Littleton Lodge. As a family, we are extremely happy with her care.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. It is great to hear Mum has settled in well and is enjoying living at Littleton Lodge. Mum has made some lovely friendships since joining us and loves to get involved in the many activities in the home, especially skittles. I will be sure to pass on your kind words to the team at Littleton.
Very good experience staff very good and can not fault anything.

Mom has been in the care home since June 2021 and it has been a fantastic experience. But would just like to say my mom has been poorly very poorly with a chest infection. I cannot fault the care and attention she has had from all the carers. The Senior Care Assistant has rung 111 and Doctors several times. What a fantastic bunch of people you are thank you so much for looking after my mom.
Thank you for taking the time to review Littleton Lodge Care Home. We are pleased to hear how supportive and attentive the team have been, especially while your mum has not been in the best of health. I will be sure to pass on your kind words to the care team at Littleton Lodge.
My dad couldn't have been cared for any better. The home is extremely well managed and all the staff are delightful. They couldn't have made us as a family, feel any more welcome and supported. His care was first class and he was totally respected and treated with dignity. All his needs were met and the overall experience was beyond our expectations. Thank you.

My mother has been in 2 other homes and this one surpasses them both. It is like a 5-star hotel and the decor is beautiful. What really makes this home perfect is the staff, from the management right down to all the staff. This home, in just a few short weeks, has made my mother smile again.
Thank you so much for your review. We are so pleased to hear that your mum's move has been a positive experience for you all. We are very proud of our staff team, many of whom have been with us since our home opened, and we see lots of examples of them going above and beyond for their residents.
