Lisbeth Nursing Home provides residential and nursing care to up to 40 people in a modern, purpose-built home in Great Wryly, Staffordshire.

The home features 36 single bedrooms and 2 shared bedrooms, most of which have en-suite facilities. There are also communal lounges, dining rooms and an outside patio area for residents to relax and socialise in.

Excellent care home with friendly staff. They all take excellent care of my mother. Her medication and behaviour is regularly reviewed. Dignity is at the heart of everything they do at Lisbeth Nursing Home. They include my father (who is not a resident) in the Lisbeth family, allowing their relationship
to be maintained.

Dad's stay was to enable an assessment of his needs for a move from independent living to permanent care home. The nursing home environment was not suited to Dad's needs however the staff and management were excellent, respectful, resident-orientated and showed genuine care and consideration during
his temporary stay. The staff were open, supportive and approachable, engaging well with our family and keeping us informed. Thanks to everyone at Lisbeth.

I spent six months in Lisbeth Nursing Home and from the outset was treated with absolute dignity and respect by all staff. As a paraplegic with a grade 4 pressure sore my needs were very complex but everyone worked together to ensure my full recovery before returning home. The building is clean, modern
and inviting. The staff are cheerful and above all knowledgeable. The catering staff went above and beyond to provide my dietary requirements. Although I was bedbound for the majority of my stay I got the impression that it was a happy place to be for everyone.

My dad went into Lisbeth Nursing Home February 2022. As a family we looked around many homes but from the moment we stepped inside Lisbeth House we knew it was the right home for Dad. It was difficult when we left Dad for the first time, but the staff reassured us and Dad soon settled with his new family
at Lisbeth House. Dad's care was outstanding, all staff showed dignity and love. Dad was also allowed his independence and was encouraged to carry out his daily activities with support when needed. When Dad approached end of life, we as Dad’s family, were supported and were informed every step of the way on Dad’s treatment. I would not hesitate to recommend Lisbeth House. All the staff knew Dad inside and out and recognised Dad’s character. The management team and all the staff are amazing. Dad sadly passed away March 2024 but Dad was given so much love and care and without a doubt, we chose the best home for dad to spend his final years.

Whilst Mum was only a resident for 5 weeks before her death, she received good care. The staff were always friendly and accommodating. We were always kept informed of any issues and changes.
We felt that the staff tried hard to make Mum's final days comfortable and dignified and made a difficult time
for us easier.

We are so pleased that we found Lisbeth Nursing Home for our mother.
All staff and management are very caring towards her and others that I have witnessed.
They shower and wash my mother’s hair daily; her clothes are always laundered to the highest standard.
I’m told that my mother enjoys meal
times, but I haven’t witnessed these times myself, as visiting times do not allow it.
She is given coffee and biscuits throughout the day, as this is her choice for refreshments.
All rooms are cleaned to a high standard.
Overall, my and my family are happy with the first-class care our mother receives.

Why are the services being available to the general public not being talked about enough. The work that the staff do onsite and off is incredible and needs to be voiced. The level of empathy, compassion and consideration shown to the residents here at Lisbeth Nursing Home is just beyond incredible and

My mom has Dementia and has been at Lisbeth for 18 months. I would recommend Lisbeth 100%. Every member of staff treats her with kindness and like one of the family. It is nice for me to know she is in a safe and caring home. Everyone goes above and beyond. All of you should be proud of your hard work
and the difference you make to people and their families. As soon as you walk in, there is a warmth about the home. I would not want my mom anywhere else. Thank you so much to each and every one of you.

My late father resided at Lisbeth Nursing Home for 12 months. He was treated with the utmost dignity and respect. The staff were very attentive and went above and beyond to ensure his needs were met.
I am so grateful for the love and support provided by the manager and her team, and would not hesitate
to recommend this nursing home to others requiring a safe place for their loved ones.

My experience was absolutely perfect in every way. The care they gave my husband during his end-of-life care was loving, understanding and sympathetic right to the very end.
They were also there for myself and family, nothing was too much trouble for any member of staff.

Staff at Lisbeth are very caring and it does not matter who I speak to there, everyone knows Mom. Communication is excellent and we are always involved/included with Mom's care plans.
Very clean and Mom's hair always looks washed. Food seems good too.

Mom was at Lisbeth Home for over 18 months and throughout her stay, she received the best possible care. All of the staff were always very professional, kind, caring and compassionate and treated Mom with utmost respect and consideration. Despite Mom suffering from dementia, the carers always found
time to chat with her and treated her as a friend.
I want to thank the manager and her team for their care of my mom and have no reservations about recommending Lisbeth Nursing Home.

Mom is looked after and cared for as if she’s part of the family.

Mom was transferred from Hospital to Lisbeth for end-of-life care, and like many families, we didn’t know if mom would settle and would want to come home. It was clear within a few days we had made the right choice, the staff were so warm and welcoming to her that she felt at home, she was so poorly
but knew she was being treated with great care and dignity. As a family, we were treated with the utmost care and respect, nothing we requested for mom was too much trouble and all the staff were so sympathetic knowing mom would not be with us for long. She wasn’t at Lisbeth very long but we, as a family, would not hesitate in recommending the home for anyone's loved one. It is kept at a very high standard of cleanliness and friendliness from all the team. Thank you all so much for making Moms and our family's time with you such a warm one.

My lovely mom spent her final week at Lisbeth Care Home after being discharged by the hospice for end-of-life care. I am so glad I picked this home for her, all of the staff were wonderful, supportive, kind and caring and I can’t thank you all enough. I would not hesitate to recommend this home. It
has such a lovely atmosphere and is kept clean, with no smells!

My father was in the home for seven months. The home was kind and caring. All staff, from cleaning to management, were professional. I felt my father was safe and very well cared for. The food was excellent, the day-to-day care was of a high standard, and the nursing staff were excellent. I would recommend

My nan has only been here for a few weeks, but highly recommend it, the staff are so compassionate and involve you every step of the way and go above and beyond to provide a high standard of care, they are very professional, and I can not thank them enough and I’m so glad we got my nan here, they treat
her with dignity and respect and respect everyone. Everyone is so friendly and they have good staffing levels. Also, they provide patient-centred care and treat everyone as individuals. Can highly recommend this place. They treat my nan like she is part of the family. Would not want her anywhere else, everyone works as a team even the manager sat with my nan and encouraged her to eat as her diet and fluid were poor and sat with her and had the same meal to attempt to get her to eat. They go above and beyond and are glad my nan is well looked after and know she is safe there. Highly recommend.

My 96 yr old Mother was transferred into the care of Lisbeth Nursing Home when she could no longer live an independent existence. She absolutely loved the Nursing Home, and all the caring, compassionate and professional staff members. She was only resident for six weeks before passing away, but I can
state that we were more than happy with everyone who cared for her. I would totally recommend Lisbeth Nursing Home for their excellent Nursing Care.
