The team at Raleigh Manor have provided excellent care to my father. The communal areas and the individual rooms are well-appointed and welcoming, with beautiful views over Exmouth. The standard of care from each member of the team was second to none. We looked at many options and Raleigh Manor was easily the best.

From the minute we walked through the doors we knew that Raleigh Manor was the right choice for our father. He moved in at the end of September and the staff couldn't have made dad and our family more welcome.
The environment is inviting, warm, cosy, friendly and inclusive. We were offered endless cups of coffee and cake and the whole experience has been nothing short of 5 stars.
Dad has mentioned that this is the closest he can get to feeling at home and feels cared for which is so reassuring as we live so far away. We are so grateful for the respect and kindness of the hardworking staff, the attention to detail and dad's beautiful room with that nearby view of the estuary!

Thank you Raleigh Manor for everything. x

Mum absolutely loved it. She joined in nearly all the activities offered to her. She loved going out for trips in the minibus. The staff were very kind & helpful & bent over backwards to accommodate her. The food choices were excellent & she loved having it cooked for her. The actual home was very clean, tidy & very quiet.

I stayed at Raleigh Manor, Exmouth for 3 weeks respite care while major changes were made to my medication and, as I am now on my own having lost my wife last year, wanted the support and care provided by the home.
I relaxed as soon as I moved in as I realised that the carers had been well briefed in my condition and did a fantastic job at looking after me while I was feeling unwell.

My thanks to all the wonderful staff for supporting me thorough this difficult period in my life.

It is difficult to put into words the respect and gratitude I have for your staff. My mother was very seriously ill over Christmas and the care and concern shown to her and to our whole family was exemplary. Professionally and personally the attention to detail, calm, compassionate care and good humour gave us a sense of being at home - amongst an extended family. Thank you!

My mother has received excellent respite care at Barchester Raleigh Manor Care Home and she would have been happy to stay as a long-term resident had she not decided that it would be more practical to move closer to her family. A friend of mine, who suffers from dementia, has been a resident at Barchester Raleigh Manor Care Home for a year now.
It has been a real privilege to visit him in such fantastic surroundings.
Knowing that the staff and management put their heart and soles into caring for everyone to such high standards.
The various rooms and facilities are exceptional in a state-of-the-art building, which enables the care home and team to give its residents the care and support they deserve and require. Everyone goes out of their way to help you! it's lovely there, they're all so friendly and welcoming.
The choices for activities and entertainment for the residents are seemingly endless and a lot of effort and thought goes into their weekly planning. Raleigh Manor keeps on surprising.
I know my friend enjoys his trips out to various places which they do, he really has discovered a whole new way of life and he is now eating really well and looking better for the whole experience!

Thank you Raleigh Manor Care Home.

My friend had to give up her home due to age and her memory lapses. Her son-in-law saw the home Barchester Raleigh Manor Care Home were doing respite care so managed to get a room with a beautiful view of the estuary. My friend, when she saw the room, was absolutely delighted, she said she would give it a try, well that was nearly twelve months ago and she is still there enjoying her new home, saying it was the best move she had done. The staff are like friends, nothing is ever too much trouble, the food is delicious and on the whole, the home is like living in a hotel, we are all so lucky to have this home, it's like living the high life.

Upon arrival, I was shown to my room which was exactly like the rest of the building i.e. very large, really airy and spotlessly clean. Throughout my stay, I found all the staff very friendly whilst being professional and efficient.
I also found that the mix of full-time residents and short-term visitors worked for me very well and I was made to feel immediately welcome. I did make the effort to leave my room and use the dining room which was light, bright and convivial.
The food was good and varied and I especially enjoyed the cooked breakfast.
Despite being a little nervous initially, I was soon really enjoying the many activities which allowed me to sit and chat with other people who obviously had different issues and problems than myself. My respite week genuinely flew by and I was a little sad to leave. I can and will happily recommend your care home.

P.S. My absolute favourite thing was the 'help yourself ' cappuccino machine.
