Barchester Raleigh Manor Care Home

My journey in care began in 2015, and I’ve been proud to be part of Barchester for the past four years. Throughout my career, I’ve worked predominantly with people living with dementia, a field that continues to inspire my commitment to delivering truly person-centred care.

As Acting General Manager, my goal is to lead a home where residents feel safe, fulfilled, and genuinely cared for, and where families and friends always feel welcome and part of our community. I look forward to meeting you and showing you around our beautiful home – the views are just as uplifting as the atmosphere within.

Having worked in care for 17 years, Emily has worked for Barchester for 10 years and has spent the last 3 years working at Raleigh Manor, working her way up from Carer to Senior Carer and now Community Lead. Emily enjoys spending time with her son outside of work.

Emily is our Speak Up champion & Falls champion.

Chloe has excelled in her role as Carer, Senior Carer and now Community Lead at Raleigh Manor. Chloe takes the responsibility of caring for those in her community very seriously.

I have extensive experience in administration within the health sector. The opportunity to put that experience to great use here at Raleigh Manor is very rewarding for me.

It is a pleasure to be part of such a high-quality service delivering the very best experience to our residents every day.

Tracy has very extensive experience in the care industry within the local area. A well-known and respected person whom we are honoured to have on the team.

I have worked as a Chef for many years in the restaurant world, but decided I wanted to move in a different direction. Being Head Chef at Raleigh Manor is more like cooking for a very large family. Food is a very important part of life at Raleigh Manor, and I love the personal touch this enables.

Emily is our second chef and has been a chef for 7 years. Emily enjoys spending time with friends and family outside of work also enjoying good food.

Janet has joined Raleigh Manor from a background working with a younger generation. She has brought her creative skills and fresh thinking to enrich the lives of our residents.

Rachel has an extensive background in care and joined Raleigh Manor as a carer. More recently, she took up the challenge of moving into the Activities team and is absolutely loving it. 

I am a City and Guilds qualified carpenter and joiner and have over 25 years of experience working in care home property maintenance.

I very much enjoy working in the new, beautiful surroundings of Raleigh Manor.

An Exmouth local of over 17 years, Karolina is renowned in the organisation for her hard work and infectious smile.

I am a Senior Carer with 12 years of caring under my belt already, and I still love every minute. I have experience in night and day care, along with specialist dementia training. It is a pleasure to be a part of this great team at Raleigh Manor.

Hayley has been a professional in the care industry for over 15 years. She has specialised in areas involving learning disabilities and complex physical and mental disabilities. Hayley has a passion for dementia care and making every resident feel special, safe and loved.

I was born in Exmouth and have been at Raleigh Manor since it opened in 2021. I have been a carer for over six years now, more recently moving into the role of Senior Carer. I love my work and seek to improve the lives of all those in my care.

Molly came to Raleigh Manor from our sister nursing home in Exeter. Now with nearly 5 years working for Barchester, she enjoys her Senior Carer position here in Exmouth.

Keen Rugby Player and local to Exmouth, Emma is an experienced carer with many years of working within the care industry under her belt.

Katie has been a carer for 5 years now, both in the community and in residential care. She has grown up in Exmouth and absolutely loves living here.

Jasmin has worked in care for 6 years and has worked at Raleigh Manor for just over two years. Jasmin loves working with such a great team and enjoys spending time with her family in her spare time.

Louise has worked at Raleigh Manor in the kitchen team for a year.

Outside of work, Louise enjoys spending time with her two little boys.
