From the office staff to the carers, all were more than happy to answer my questions. The decor is beautiful. A very happy well run care home. I might have to reserve myself a room for my older age.
Thank you for you kind review of Mantles Court. We're so glad that you're happy with the home, its facilities and staff. Reviews like this mean a lot to the staff in the home.
Outstanding care home. From the first visit to view and into week 6, we are now so happy with Mantles Care Home.Staff/carers wonderful. Family area downstairs and gardens - amazing.
Thank you for your kind review. Is lovely to hear that you are happy with Mantles court and the care that the staff in the home deliver.
Over all excellent. Food could be hotter when taken to the room, as well as hot drinks, water jugs are full when 1/2 full, would be better for some residents to fill their glass.
Thank you for your positive feedback - we're delighted to hear your overall experience has been excellent. We also appreciate your helpful comments regarding the temperature of meals and drinks when served in rooms, as well as the water jugs. We will share this with the team and review these areas to help improve residents' experience further. Thank you again for taking the time to leave a review.
Staff at Mantles are always friendly and welcoming. I am confident that my aunt receives wonderful care here. There is a good selection of activities that she enjoys when she feels up to it. She enjoys the food served. I do, however, find the communication between carers disappointing and things are taken from her room and disposed of, things that she wants kept, and it takes a lot of time to get the message conveyed. We are very happy overall, though.

My father has been at Mantles Court for nearly three years. The care and attention provided here is excellent. The staff are warm and compassionate. My father is always safe and comfortable, making it really feel like home. I am always informed of any concerns or changes of care for my father, which offers me and my family reassurance and peace of mind. We wouldn't want him to be anywhere else.
Thank you for your lovely review. We're delighted to hear that he feels safe, comfortable, and truly at home with us. Your kind words about our team's compassion and communication mean a great deal, and we're so pleased we can provide reassurance and peace of mind for your family. Thank you again.
Residents are treated with genuine dignity, and the staff always show patience and kindness. The rooms are immaculate and the entire place is kept impressively clean with a beautifully maintained garden.
There are a few areas that culd be improved. Detailed individual changes to diet and medication as medically requested are not always followed through, for example pre-colonoscopy preparations. Additionally, mixing dementia and non-dementia residents in the same units doesn't always work well and can create unnecessary tension. Clothing often goes missing and some items are washed at temperatures so high that they shrink. A wider and more engaging range of activities - both indoors and outdoors would also make a meaningful difference to resident's day to day experience. Overall, despite a few challenges, this is a caring, safe and well-maintained home that clearly strives to provide the best for its residents.
Thank you very much for taking the time to leave a review. We're delighted to hear that you found the home warm, welcoming, and well run, and that our management, finance, and care teams made a positive difference to your experience. Your kind words about the dignity, patience, and kindness shown...

Our mother seems to be very happy and says how kind the staff are to her.
We have noticed a marked improvement in her demeanour.
We could not have wished for a better care home placement for our mother, and we are so glad we came across Mantles Court.
We truly appreciate your positive feedback! Our dedicated team works tirelessly to ensure that every resident receives the highest quality of care!
The staff are friendly and caring. They always help the resident, nothing seems too much trouble.
Your feedback means a lot to us! Providing exceptional care and support to our residents is our top priority.
Friendly staff. Clean and tidy. Mum says good is not great. Would be good to have reception manned more as often have to wait to be let in. Could relatives be given the code?
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I will pass your suggestion onto the care home manager.
Overall its a great experience. It could be enhanced with a car/people carrier for trips out. My only complaint is if you advertise dementia care and expertise you need have the resources and people skills to deal with all aspects and not suggest people leave if financially/staffing doesn't allow to provide the service.
Your feedback means a lot to us! We take great pride in providing personalised care and attention to each resident. I will pass your feedback to the care home manager.
Since my uncle has been at Mantles Court, he has been well looked after and helped to settle in by very caring staff. It has also made a huge difference to us as a family as we can relax at home knowing he is safe and looked after and all our time with him now is quality time. Thank you.
We truly appreciate your positive feedback! Our dedicated team works tirelessly to ensure that every resident receives the highest quality of care and attention.
The new management are doing an excellent job of improving the home although there are still issues with clothes going missing from the laundry and Dad not receiving hot gravy with his food. The new chef is very good.
Your feedback means a lot to us! We take great pride in providing personalised care and attention to each resident. I will pass your feedback on to the care home manager.
Overall, Mantles Court offers a good level of care and support. While some staff could improve their approach to what can sometimes be sensitive matters, others such as claire, the senior carer, go above and beyond. This goes a long way in making residents feel like individuals rather than a box to be ticked, which is very important.
Your feedback means a lot to us! We take great pride in providing personalised care and attention to each resident. I will pass your feedback on to the care home manager.
Over the last nine months, I've seen my cousin gradually need more help as she struggles with her health problems, and she is getting that care and support. Once the carers get used to her and her wats, they get to "open up more". I would like to see more care taken with her clothes, she was always nicely dressed, and her clothes were hung up and put away in the drawers, this is not always the way now.
Thank you for your kind words. Our team is passionate about making a difference in the lives of our residents. I will pass your feedback on to the care home manager.
I had a few issues before this month, but pleased to say things have improved in all areas. My husband is not missing meds, there are more activities and laundry has greatly improved. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. Since the warm weather has come it is nice to be able to use the lovely garden.
We truly appreciate your positive feedback! Our dedicated team works tirelessly to ensure that every resident receives the highest quality of care and attention.
The carers and staff are very friendly. Grannie is very happy here. As a family, we hoped she would join in with more activities, and meet new people so we would like it if she was encouraged more. The interaction she has with the carers is greatly appreciated and she refers to them as 'my girls'.
Your feedback means a lot to us! We take great pride in providing personalised care and attention to each resident.
Everyone is always so welcoming and the care is absolutely fantastic! Mum loves it here!
Your words mean everything to us! Providing compassionate care and personalised attention to each of our residents is at the core of what we do.
The home is a lovely place to live. Her room is excellent with a lovely view of the garden. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There are some issues with her food because of her Diverticulosis but it has got better.
My dad is very happy at Mantles Court and has been since he came 18 months ago. I cannot fault attentiveness of the staff. All his needs are covered. The office staff are lovely too, I am always greeted with a smile.

Meet the Team (4)

With over 30 years of experience working in the care sector, I have dedicated my career to providing the highest quality of care and support to our residents.
I began my journey in the care sector at the age of 18 and became a Home Manager in 2008. Over the years, I have had the privilege of working in several Quantum Care homes, gaining invaluable experience and insights along the way. My commitment to ensuring a warm, safe, and engaging environment for our residents remains my top priority.

The Deputy Home Manager shares responsibility with the Home Manager for running the home. Deputy managers will each bring their own skill set to the home, some offering more assistance with the business side of things, while others focus largely on care.
However, whether they look at it from a business or care perspective, the focus of the Deputy is always to ensure that their home is offering the very best quality of life for our residents. Experienced and either holding or working towards their qualifications, Deputy Home Managers are capable and driven to provide the best of everything for their residents.

The Hospitality Manager oversees all aspects of hospitality at the home, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for residents and their families.

The Chef Manager organises every aspect of the catering operation and provides a safe, nutritious, quality service to our residents using freshly produced food. With a hands-on role, leading a team, they provide a quality catering service and help create a warm and friendly atmosphere for our residents. Working with our residents they help to create menus to meet their needs and suit their tastes. They also create and provide fine dining events, using Quantum Care’s award-winning Dining Club concept.
