Hello, my name is Kevin Peck, and I am the Home Manager here at Deer Park.
I am an ex-soldier who served in the Royal Artillery, and I have received my Level 4 Registered Managers award and Level 5 Leadership and Management QCF. I am also a Mind Ambassador.
With over 25 years of experience working in the care sector and an additional 20 years working as a qualified nurse, I have managed seven separate care homes, including a 95-bed dementia village. All my hard work has contributed to my extensive experience in all aspects of care management.
Being married to my wonderful wife, who also works in the care industry, allows me to have a good understanding of the challenges of working in care. I also have three children, two sons, both in their late 20s and a younger daughter who is six years old - she likes to keep me on my toes!
Outside of work, I enjoy playing football with my five-a-side team, and I am a qualified referee at the county level. I referee both ladies' and men’s football in the Gloucestershire area.
Hello, my name is Sue Moorcroft, and I am the Client Services Manager here at Deer Park Care Home.
Hello, my name is Sarah Fleeting, and I am the Activities and Wellbeing Coordinator here at Deer Park.
I have worked at Deer Park for 16 months, and I find my role very rewarding as I know our team makes a positive difference in the lives of our residents every day. This is my first role in a care home, and I have been thoroughly enjoying it so far. Before joining the Deer Park team I worked mostly in hospitality, and I have NVQs in Hospitality and Customer Care.
Outside of work, I like to spend time with my husband, our daughter and our pomchi, Tally. I am also a Brownie leader and sometimes help out in my friend's pottery painting studio.
Hello, my name is Sarah Birkett, and I am the Home Administrator here at Deer Park.
This is my first role within a care home, and I have quickly learnt that within this setting every day is different! I am married with two grown-up children, and I spend my spare time with my beloved cats. A fun fact about me is that I love doing quizzes!
