Overall Experience
My father has been determined to remain in his home despite his frailty and vulnerability. It was with trepidation that he came with me to a recent open day at Deer Park and, although very impressed, he once again refused to consider a move.
Following another fall I arranged a 4-week stay which we insisted he take, to at least give it a try. From the off the team at Deer Park were incredibly helpful and reassuring and he was in their care within 48 hours of my request.

From the moment that he arrived Father was treated with kindness, dignity and good humour. All those who care for him hope that he embraces his new situation as I don't believe we could find a better environment for him to thrive.

Overall Experience
All the staff at Deer Park have gone out of their way to welcome my father-in-law into this fabulous new care home. From the moment I made contact, communication has been first class. As an extended family, we have been enveloped in kindness by the whole team.
Whilst the care home is beautifully and tastefully furnished and exactly what a modern day care home should look like, it is the care and attention of the founding team that makes this care home attractive.
My father-in-law moved in from the hospital and even though this has been a distressing time for all of us we have felt completely supported, practically and emotionally by the team at Deer Park. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
We, as a family, are hugely relieved that our loved one is now in a place where he can be totally looked after and probably (and quite rightly) spoilt rotten!

Thank you.

Hello, my name is Kevin Peck, and I am the Home Manager here at Deer Park.

I am an ex-soldier who served in the Royal Artillery, and I have received my Level 4 Registered Managers award and Level 5 Leadership and Management QCF. I am also a Mind Ambassador.

I also have four children, three sons, two in their late 20s and my youngest a year old, and a daughter who is eight years old - she likes to keep me on my toes!

Outside of work, I enjoy playing football with my five-a-side team, and I am a qualified referee at the county level. I referee both ladies' and men’s football in the Gloucestershire area.
