Initial meeting was welcoming and I felt they listened to my concerns. I chose a month's package so I could get respite for myself. They understood his needs and made me feel confident they would be able to manage his health issues. Every visit I made, they gave me information about his issues and behaviour,
and supported me in a very friendly manner. I was very happy he was looked after so well.

Haywood Lodge has a real 'home from home' feel. It is beautifully decorated and well maintained. The staff are caring to my mum and myself showing kindness and compassion. The manager has been particularly understanding and has communicated and worked with me to provide the best care and pro-actively
addressed a situation that was a concern and implemented a solution. Hayward Lodge overall has a welcoming environment and I am very grateful for the care and support provided here.

My Dad has had a number of visits for regular respite over the past 18 months and I cannot express how much easier the process is knowing he is going to Haywood Lodge. Rooms are beautifully decorated, light and airy, staff are caring and understanding and take time to understands his needs. They take
into account his routine at home, and try to follow a similar routine. At every request, staff take time to try to accommodate requests to make Dad's stay is the best it can be. Food is of excellent quality, they appreciate that he is only visiting, and accommodate his eating patterns from home so that the transition in and out are as smooth as possible. Haywood Lodge is managed by a great team, led by the manager, who finds time to not only manage the home, but to ensure that residents and families are happy. She will always make time for you and goes above and beyond to make sure that at each visit Dad is listened to and encouraged to make the best of his time in respite.

I would not recommend this Carehome HAYWOOD LODGE to any families that are looking for a Carehome for their loved ones from the experience we had and the care our mother received. l recently found out they have received a CQC rating of Good which l find very hard to accept. We have since moved our mother
to another Carehome in Solihull which is also rated Good there is no comparison it should be excellent. Our mother is a different person since we moved her and is getting the care that she deserves. When choosing a Carehome you need to really do your research.

The manager and her team have been truly amazing. My nan went to Haywood Lodge for a two week stay following a fall. She now doesn't want to go home. She said the food is gorgeous and the staff are very kind and caring. They have taken time to get to know her and really make her smile and laugh!

Staff welcoming and treated my brother-in-law and ensured he was comfortable and know were is room was. We were offered refreshments. I have enjoyed not having total responsibility for his care. He is settling in and enjoying life himself - no longer lonely. He enjoys excellent food and choice of menu.
I have all questions answered. Care is excellent. I will recommend the home to people.

Myself, my wife and my lifelong friend made our visit to see my friends aunt who is also a friend, because of health issues is now a resident in this care home.
From the moment we walked into reception we were greeted warmly and made to feel welcome by the receptionist and every member of the staff
thereafter who we came into contact with.
We found the whole place to be very clean, warm and comforting. My friend, who would obviously rather be back at home, has no complaints regarding any of the staff, facilities, entertainment meals or activities available to residents.
We left feeling very grateful that my friend is in a wonderful care home and would sincerely recommend Haywood Lodge.

Our dad was one of the first residents at Haywood Lodge Care Home when it opened and stayed there until his passing a couple of weeks ago. We felt confident that he was having the most caring team taking care of his everyday needs. They went above and beyond their job duties and operated with kindness

I stayed at Haywood Lodge for 2 weeks of respite care from Sunday 12th May following a hip replacement operation, knowing that as I live alone, I would not have been able to look after myself. One of the best decisions I could have made, as the 2-week period allowed me to be looked after properly without
causing me any concerns.
From the moment I checked in I was cared for by all the staff in an exemplary way and whether I needed the red button to call upon them or not, they would show up regularly with smiling faces to check on me and see if they could be of any help. This made me feel so good, allowing me to gain confidence.
Food was excellent and extremely varied and there was not one occasion when I was not satisfied with the quality of cooking or service.
I have now been home for a week progressing well, but I know that without the care and attention at Haywood Lodge, my recovery would not be so far forward.
The manager and her staff cannot be faulted and I sincerely thank them.

Our 97-year-old great-aunt became a permanent resident in March of 2024 after living in her home alone became too much hard work. After living there for over 65 years it was a very difficult decision, but everyone from the reception, care, housekeeping and management teams made the move so smooth and
effortless for her. She is warm, well-fed, comfortable and happier than we could ever imagine and can be as involved or independent as she wants to be but the knowledge that there is always someone there at the push of a button if needed, is so reassuring to all of us. Everyone is so kind, and friendly and nothing is ever too much trouble plus the regular hair-dressing and chiropodist appointments are a great addition to the normal care you expect to receive in a residential home. Mum and Dad moved to Haywood Lodge after a challenging six months. They both have different needs and were tired physically and emotionally. As soon as they arrived, they were made extremely welcome and nothing has changed since. The home is outstanding in every aspect of its work. The building is attractive
and immaculate. The rooms are lovely and the lounges are homely and residents mix freely with each other. The cinema and hairdressing salon are used regularly. The quality of the food is fully appreciated. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the communication between the team is excellent. They are responsive to individual needs and engage with residents with respect dignity and kindness. The activities are regular and varied. The local community is engaged which stimulates the residents. The management is exemplary and well-respected by staff, residents and family members. It is a home away from home. My Mother has been staying at Haywood Lodge for the past three weeks and in all of that time, every member of staff has gone out of their way to make Mum feel welcome and settled. Treating her with the utmost care and dignity. During this period we had a family wedding and again the staff ensured Mum
felt ready to attend by helping her get ready in plenty of time ensuring she didn't feel anxious or stressed in any way. All staff continue to show true empathy and compassion to everyone in their care. Thank you.

When my sister and I first attended Haywood Lodge, we immediately felt at home and knew it would be ideal for our mum. The support given to us in this difficult time has been outstanding. My dad was at Haywood Lodge for 2 weeks of respite care. He was a little uncertain about this initially but he soon realised what a wonderful place it is. The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times the care they showed to Dad and us as a family was outstanding. He really enjoyed the food

My mother has been in Haywood Lodge for only 3 weeks, a direct transfer from hospital which was arranged very efficiently. The home is modern with excellent facilities, even has a cinema room. The food is very good, the bedrooms are beautiful and very well equipped with TV and wet room, and plenty of
wardrobe space. The staff are very caring, nothing is too much trouble for them, they even arranged a small family party for her birthday.
