Thank you very much for putting the review on in regard to your sister. It's a pleasure for us to look after your sister for you and she most certainly does love singing to her favourite music.
Thank you for your lovely review, it's comforting to know that you feel her respect and dignity is a top priority, this is something that is very important to us for all of our residents.
Thank you so much for your review David. It was a pleasure seeing your progress and recovery in the two weeks you were with us. We feel post-operative care in an environment where you can focus on recovery really helps and you are a testament to this. Take care.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are so pleased to hear both you and your husband are happy. He certainly puts a smile on our faces every single day.
Thank you so much Elaine for your super review. We understood how hard it was for Mum to move from another care home to us and it can be very unsettling for people with dementia. So it's wonderful to hear that you feel she has settled well. Mum's smile lights up the room and she is an absolute pleasure to have at Outram Fields.
Thank you very much for taking the time to write a review. We agree that Mum has settled in so well and its lovely to see the smile on her face everyday.
Thank you so much for your review, being a new care home it's lovely to hear of your relative's experience as a new resident at Outram Fields. We will share your praise with all of the staff. It's our pleasure to care for your stepdad.

I am an experienced Health and Social Care Manager and Registered Nurse. I am passionate about elderly people receiving quality care and I look forward to bringing all my expertise to Bradway and the local area.
I have worked in the health and social care sector for four years. I understand that moving into a care home is just as important and daunting for the family as it is for the resident and will help and support you every step of the way.
What I do:
I am proud to be the Deputy Manager at Outram Fields, and I am deeply passionate about delivering the high standard of care that each resident deserves, and I always strive to achieve the best possible outcome for each person.
My experience:
With 17 years of experience in the care industry, I have spent the last 9 years in a care home setting specialising in a dementia care, providing both individual support to residents and guidance to their families through what can be a challenging journey.
To me, working at Outram Fields is never just a job—it’s a privilege. Caring for our residents and supporting them in their personal journey is incredibly rewarding. I am equally committed to mentoring and guiding our care team members, helping them grow in their own careers and ensuring that we, as a team, provide the best possible care to those who need it.
About me:
Outside of work, I’m kept busy by my little girl, who certainly keeps me on my toes! I cherish spending time with my partner, friends, and family. We enjoy dining out, traveling, and making memories together. When I have a moment to relax, you’ll often find me watching reality TV (much to my partner’s amusement) and surrounded by anything pink!
What I do:
My role is to plan and deliver an engaging, varied and inclusive programme of activities for every resident at Outram Fields. Each task aims to promote mental well-being: this is done through a variety of physical, creative, therapeutic, sensory, and artistic tasks that facilitate experiences to enable residents to build on what they know and enjoy already and allow them the opportunity to experience something new in a social, caring, and friendly environment. This can be achieved in large, small, and individual groups. We welcome members of the community to come to Outram whether that be pupils from the local school, a toddler group, volunteers, and experts – the key is to enable residents to continue to develop successful relationships.
My experience:
During the last 25 years, I have taught in primary schools in Cheshire, North Wales, and Sheffield. Moving to Outram Fields to pursue a career in the Care Industry has allowed me to use my experience of building strong, caring relationships with individuals and to plan and implement creative and interactive activities: meeting the needs of everyone, allowing everyone the opportunity to succeed.
About me:
There is nothing I like more than to be out in the fresh air: whether that’s a walk in the Peak District or pottering around my garden. I am also a member of the Derbyshire Scouting Association Climbing team. We regularly meet groups of Cubs, Scouts and Explorers delivering abseiling, climbing and crate stacking sessions. When I’m not out and about I enjoy visiting the cinema or meeting friends for a drink and a catch-up.
What I do:
My role is to work alongside the Head Chef and ensure that our residents and visitors get the best possible hospitality experience at Outram Fields. This may be from a simple cup of coffee with cake, to a 3-course meal with wine in our Private Dining room. I ensure our Café & Bar area is always stocked up and ready for our Visitors and our Dining rooms are set to the highest standard and look inviting for our residents.
My experience:
I am a trained sommelier and cannot wait to share my passion for wine with you all. I have been working in hospitality for 17 years now, including 12 hotels/restaurants in London in a lot of different settings.
About me:
I was born in Dunkerque France and moved to London in 2011. I love spending time with my son and can’t wait to explore the peak district (I’m still new in Sheffield) with him. I am also really passionate about photography.
What I do:
My role at Outram Fields is to lead the catering team within the home to prepare, cook and serve high-quality meals which are appetising, nutritious and centred on residents’ preferences.
My experience:
I left Sheffield at age 17 and headed to London, where I started as a kitchen porter. I now have over 20 years of experience as a Head Chef in Hotels, mainly in Berkshire, Shropshire and Buckinghamshire, and an additional 14 years of experience in the care sector. Before this role, I was a regional chef for Four Seasons Healthcare.
About me:
In my spare time, any chance I get, you will find me outside in the garden, or walking my dog Bud. I have a grandson, who also keeps me on my toes.
What I do:
Hello, I am the Head of Housekeeping at Outram Fields.
My role is to maintain the highest standards of cleaning our residents deserve and I have been very selective in recruiting the right team to work alongside me with skills, passion, drive and compassion to make sure all areas are kept clean and sparkling. It is also my responsibility to ensure the laundry is well managed and each resident’s belongings are treated with the utmost care and respect.
My experience:
My background is in the cleaning sector working in 5-star hotels. I have also worked in Surrey in a newly built care home during the pandemic. My passion lies in making a difference and seeing people smile.
About me:
I am a homebody, nothing makes me happier than spending quality time with family, my teenage daughter, partner and two boisterous and stubborn dachshunds. I also love country walks and watching films and true documentaries.
What I do:
I am the Maintenance Manager at Outram Fields. My role is to ensure that the home and your stay with us are safe, comfortable and most importantly – an enjoyable experience. Myself and my Maintenance Assistant will be at hand to deliver a service to you of the highest standards in order to meet your specific needs and requirements.
My experience:
I have over 30 years of experience working in a maintenance environment and my last 12 years are specifically based in a challenging behaviour care home delivering a very person-centred approach to the most vulnerable.
About me:
I am married with 2 young adult girls. My passions are music, art and reading. I have amassed over the years a fairly substantial music collection (CD, vinyl and digital). I also have a love of vintage hi-fi. I run a music/hi-fi club in my village which attracts fellow enthusiasts of all ages. The rest of my time is made up of being a “dad taxi”.
What I do:
I am the Home Administrator at Outram Fields. My role involves administration, financial and recruitment elements. I also enjoy interacting with our residents and hearing all about their lives.
My experience:
I have worked in Customer Services/Administration for over 25 years. These roles have been in a very varied spectrum of organisations, including telecommunications, local police authority and latterly, the care industry.
About me:
In my spare time, I enjoy walking going out for a nice meal and cooking at home. I also enjoy going to the theatre. I have personally been involved in amateur dramatics since the age of 8 and have done many shows at Sheffield Lyceum and Sheffield City Hall. I began dancing at the age of 5 and was a professional dancer on cruise ships for several years.
