All I can say is Llys Herbert is home to my family member, she is completely happy and very settled with what was a daunting prospect. The idea of living in a Care Home really did concern her but turns out she's more than happily surprised. The staff make the place. All the staff have the same attitude towards the residents it's quite remarkable how so many wonderful personalities are under one roof.

My mother has been living in Llys Herbert since February. This is a lovely home with pleasant rooms, communal spaces and gardens. The staff are so friendly, caring, approachable and encouraging. My mother became ill during the night and the level of care she received before being admitted to hospital and after her discharge was excellent.

It was so good to see the interaction with residents, family, carers and managers.
Everyone sang joyously while taking a period of silence and listening to Churchill's speech about victory in Europe.
My lovely relative didn't want to go outside so we enjoyed the fun and music from inside with a glass of sparkling wine! Despite having dementia she sang all the words to the old war favourites. When I left she was animated and brimming with smiles.
Thank you!

The staff at Llys Herbert who are mostly quite young are excellent they could not be more caring with Beryl and it's no surprise that she is very fond of them all. Her face lights up when they are near and although they are busy they always seem to make time to sing a little song or have a dance with her which I am sure makes her stay here so much better.
Hi John, thank you very much for taking the time to leave us feedback about your experience, and we're so glad your wife loves being with us as we love supporting her.

My father is a long-term resident. He is receiving a good level of care. We appreciate the individual dedication of staff, the fact that they spend time with him and try to engage in conversation that interests him. The staff show patience sometimes under difficult circumstances. He enjoys his food and appreciates the help he sometimes needs during meal times. He does enjoy when the staff have been able to take him into the garden, or a short outing in the wheelchair. We find the care home well looked after, neat and tidy. We appreciate the offer to have a meal with him in the dining room or his room.

My wife is not able to do much for herself, but has found the staff and management of Llys Herbert to be understanding of and sympathetic towards her care, capable and responsive when necessary, courteous and respectful at all times and most of all caring. Llys Herbert and its staff and residents deserve the fine reputation afforded them.

We have nothing but praise for the professional, caring and helpful team we have met whilst selecting a care home for my sister. The whole process was made very easy for us by everyone and the warm welcome we receive at each visit is like being wrapped in a warm blanket. My sister has settled very well and we couldn't be more delighted with our choice of care home.
My father is very well looked after. The staff are very attentive, caring and friendly. They know him well and encourage his interests. We are warmly welcomed by all staff when we visit.
Excellent level of care and attention to needs. All staff are very friendly and helpful. Interests are considered and every effort is made to ensure engagement. The lifestyle leader organised a room, decoration and refreshments (without us asking, a lovely surprise) for my mother-in-law's 80th birthday so that my father-in-law and the rest of the family could be included in the celebrations. It is a great relief that we know that my father-in-law is being cared for and is made comfortable 24/7.
Very pleased with the attention shown to Dad's needs and the care given. Staff are always welcoming and friendly and all are very helpful. Lifestyle staff have considered Dad's interests and have set up a chess club with one member of staff, who is organising this, teaching herself to play in order to join in, really impressed with her. Escorts on mini bus trips have been excellent, this included a Christmas visit to a family members home which was lovely for Dad. Most importantly we know that Dad is being cared for and is comfortable for 24 hours a day.
Not only is my mum being cared for but she has also made new friends and is taking part in the daily activities.
The facilities are excellent, her room is lovely as are the communal areas.
My mum is really grateful for everything that is been done for her and the support she is being given.
All of the staff are excellent, they are very caring and nothing is too much for them.
I can highly recommend Llys Herbert as the care home to go to for either respite or full-time from the service my mum has received.
What a stunning care home. Llys Herbert is the next level of beautiful. Superior decorated and each time I've been there the manager has been welcoming and most helpful. The rooms are gorgeous and everything looks perfect.
It was a big step as a family to put our Mother in on respite, even though we knew it was needed. The whole team made the check-in a smooth, pleasant experience and put us all at ease. We are thrilled with how quickly our Mother has settled in, made friends and joined in with the activities on offer.
It's lovely for us to see her so happy and the change in her. We call it her five-star hotel. The rooms, meals and facilities are excellent.
The care given by the team in the dementia community has been amazing.

When visiting today, my mother-in-law was going to join the Activities Manager for the chair exercise class. It was fabulous. She was very personable with all the residents, she knew all by name and their abilities to conduct some movements. She was very safety conscious of their personal limits and referred to their progress. The activities were fun. She had a lovely way with the residents to win their confidence and trust. The mindfulness/breathing activity was relaxing and then the residents loved the end of the session doing the 'funky chicken' move, along with upbeat music. All left the room smiling and happy.

The whole package at Llys Herbert is excellent. The team who look after Dad are exceptional. Their attention to detail, kindness and compassion is really superb. The culinary team are very accommodating and the chef offers tasty and delicious meals which are presented as if you're at a 5-star hotel. The rooms are very comfortable with all of the modern needs and offer a relaxing space to rest. The facilities are plentiful and all are presented in a high-quality way. Dad has called it a 'happy place' where nothing is too much trouble. The Llys Herbert family go above and beyond to ensure it's a caring, positive and welcoming home from home. Thanks Llys Herbert, we know Dad is in great hands.
