All of the staff at Dearbourne Manor are friendly, caring and approachable, which creates a warm and welcoming environment for residents and visitors. They treat everyone with dignity and respect, providing excellent quality care. The home is extremely clean and well-maintained, with comfortable communal areas where residents can socialise. The planned activities are engaging, well-planned and varied, involving visits from animals for residents to engage with. Communication with families is good, staff and management are always willing to provide updates or dismiss any concerns. My Mother was transferred to Dearbourne Manor to be close to us following a severe stroke from which she spent 5 weeks in hospital. The care and support that was shown in her final days was absolutely outstanding, the facility was spotlessly clean at all times and the staff were truly wonderful. In what was a very difficult time they were there to support us as a family. The staff worked as a team throughout and the standards of nursing care was exceptional. Thank you so much, it will never be forgotten
Once again, a heartfelt thank you from all of us at Dearbourne Manor.
My mum has been at Dearbourne since January 2026. She has settled in very well.
The staff have been absolutely wonderful. Carers, nurses, cleaners, receptionists, maintenance staff, hairdresser, clinical lead and manager are all excellent. As well as being competent, they have all been so caring and have supported mum so well. We are very grateful to all of them!
Food is great. There are generally a couple of menu choices for each meal, as well as the possibility of ordering from a set menu, if neither option appeals.
The building is very new, well maintained, and kept very clean. The lounges on each floor are lovely. Bedrooms are large and well furnished - the only problem is that mum's room can get hot, so we are looking at ways to manage that. There's a large smart tv. Plenty of free parking. Nice gardens. And a cinema room!
Mum hasn't joined any activities, as she gets a lot of visitors. But from what I've seen, there's plenty going on.
Overall, Dearbourne is a great home!
On behalf of all the staff at Dearbourne Manor, i would like to say a heartfelt thank you for your wonderful comments and review. We are delighted to know that your Mother is happy in our Home, she feels supported and you are happy with the Care we are providing. Please feel free to see me next...
Most importantly, despite things to be mentioned, Dearbourne Manor has been exceptionally good for my mother; she would not want to leave or be anywhere else. As I am not resident here, my views are based entirely on visits and feedback from Violetta. Basically only one negative I constantly receive is about the food. Not really about the quantity or quality but rather the lack of nice vegetables and sauce and the repetition of some types (e.g. coleslaw with everything). Some disappointed with external days out (great visits but lack of). However she adores the manager and all of the staff. Has no issues.
Thank you very much for your feedback and review provided. We are very happy to know that your Mother is happy at Dearbourne Manor and she would not want to be anywhere else. We have been working exceptionally hard to accommodate all the requests we have been receiving and we will keep trying our...

The reassurance that not only high standards of nursing care are met but he is treated as an individual, respected, giving us confidence in his surroundings. 'All is well'. A big thank you to absolutely all the staff.

My husband has been at Dearbourne Manor for three months. During this time he has received excellent care. All the staff are welcoming and approachable. They are professional and knowledgeable. Bryan has been treated with care and understanding. The staff have made efforts to get to know him and are providing personalised care that meets his needs. I am very impressed with the standard of care that my parents have received at Dearbourne Manor and the attention given to their overall wellbeing as individuals, as well as their basic care and nursing needs. The care team are always friendly, helpful and responsive to suggestions and have been very supportive at difficult times. The carers have developed real bonds with my parents and my father has really appreciated occasional organised outings to places special to him or that bring back happy memories. There is also a lovely garden which he enjoys spending time in.

What a wonderful Care Home, my Mum has been there for 5 weeks now and has settled in really well. All the staff from management down to the cleaning employees have been so polite and caring to Mum and the other residents. We were very lucky to get Mum a room there and it's given us peace of mind knowing she is safe and well looked after.

I have nothing but praise for all the staff at Dearbourne Manor. They gave my mother loving care throughout her stay. They proactively addressed her changing needs and also supported me too. They listened and acted upon my ideas and requests to add to her quality of life. They kept me informed with updates. The only area of improvement is to the initial communications/introduction pack to include the list of staff roles and contacts.
Dear family member,Thank you very much for your kind review and feedback offered. It really does mean the world to us to know that we were able to support your mother and her needs throughout her stay and yourself as well during this time. Thank you very much for the feedback offered, this is very valuable to us and will be shaping our way forward.
Mum had a very comfortable stay for the last few months of her life at Dearbourne Manor. She received excellent care from all the staff at all times. All her needs were met with tender loving care. Although, mum did not participate in any of the activities, the care home provides varied activities daily that is suitable for all residents. Each time we visited mum, we were greeted cheerfully by all the staff on duty and we can't thank them enough for their professionalism and kindness on mum's passing.
Mummy was looked after very well, she was very happy. The staff were very helpful and spent time with mum. Her end of life was explained to us, what to expect and how comfortable she was. The care home has all the facilities.
Brilliant caring staff. Nothing was too much. Despite the language barrier, they met all my mother's needs. She was very happy. End of life care was excellent made her very comfortable. They had a lot of activities, but mum chose not to participate. Overall excellent service
Thank you very much for your lovely review. We are glad and immensely happy that we made a positive difference for your mother during her stay at Dearbourne Manor and that she was happy and content. End of life journey is a profoundly emotional time for both our Residents and their families and we...
Mum moved to Dearbourne Manor in February 2024 following a long hospital stay after a massive stroke. From the day mum moved in she was treated with loving care from both medical and care teams. Her face would light up and smile when she saw them come into her room The management staff and reception team cared about us as a family as well. Mum's last 8 months of her life were genuinely the best they could have been under the circumstances and we could not thank Dearbourne enough for that. Truly a first-class facility.
Thank you very much for your lovely review. It means so much to us to know that the resident together with family and friends had such a lovely and meaningful experience at Dearbourne Manor, it is what we continuously strive for.
Dearbourne Manor took so much care of my beautiful mum in the last months of her life. It's a wonderful care home. The staff were all kind, loving and extremely attentive. Sadly mum had dementia and sometimes she could be quite 'hard work' for the carers but each and every one of them was simply kind and caring towards her. I highly recommend Dearbourne Manor as a wonderful care facility. Simply amazing!
We can't express enough gratitude for your heartfelt message regarding your experience at Dearbourne Manor. It brings us immense comfort to know that our team provided such loving and attentive care to your mum. Your words about the staff's kindness and dedication, especially in the face of the...
Couldn't be happier with Dearbourne Manor. So confident my sister is in good hands. The only concern was it's a shame Dearbourne has not got transport for the residents.
Thank you very much for your review and feedback provided, this means a lot to us and the team and we are very happy to hear that your sister is happy and content at Dearbourne Manor. With regards to transport we are using community-based transport and an internal system to this is being sought.
I've worked in many care homes as a mobile hairdresser so when we started looking for Mum to go into one I was delighted to find Dearbourne Manor. Its staff are friendly and helpful. The home is really clean and never smelly, which has been a problem when I've gone into other homes. My one concern is the food, I can only speak on behalf of Mum but she really doesn't enjoy it. When I've been there and the food arrives she's not happy, it's not hot enough and there seems lots of spicy food which is definitely not for Mum. On a positive, she loves the homemade soups.
We are delighted that you found our staff to be friendly and the home clean, a testament to our team's dedication to creating a comfortable and safe environment. We appreciate your honesty regarding the food, and we understand how crucial meal satisfaction is for the well-being of our Residents....
My parents have both been here for a while - since opening. They have received the best care I could ever hoped for. The staff are kind and respectful and do an amazing job. I have nothing but a huge appreciation for them all for how they care for my parents. We, as a family, could not wish for them to be in a better place. So grateful. We are all so pleased to know they are safe and looked after and also such wonderful surroundings. Thank you all.
Dear Nicky, thank you immensely for your heartfelt words. It means the world to us to hear that your parents have been receiving the care they deserve and that you're pleased with our efforts. Your appreciation for the staff and the care provided warms our hearts and motivates us to continue...
