Lovell PLace is amazing. So clean, very welcoming, I attended the ladies night and what an amazing evening. I have not enjoyed an evening for so long.
So much effort was put into this event. I would thinks residents, family and friends had an evening to remember.

My mun aged 90 moved into Lovell Place after a bad fall. Previously she had been living independently. The staff have been absolutely brilliant in helping her understand her new situation and settling in. Her room is large with a lovely view. The staff are lovely and are always smiling or laughing.
It is a happy place.

Lovell Place has provided excellent care for Dad. he has built lovely connections with the care staff and they always show compassion in their interactions with Dad. The activity schedule is varied and caters for all tastes. The openness and inclusivity for families to join in is brilliant. As a family,
we take comfort that Dad is somewhere that puts individual residents' needs at the heart of what they do. I have no reservations in recommending Lovell Place as a quality care home.

I was impressed how quickly my transfer to Lovell Place was arranged - my having fallen at home and spending over a week in hospital. During my respite stay, I have found all the attention I have received to be first class. I arrived feeling anxious, in pain and sleep-deprived. The homemakers' welcoming
and homely environment have been key to my regaining strength and confidence. All the staff at all levels genuinely care about me and have supported all aspects of my well-being.

My dear mum was cared for with compassion, dignity, kindness and empathy during a five-week respite stay following hospital discharge. My family and I have found all the homemakers to be incredibly kind and all go the extra mile to make Mum feel at home and we are particularly impressed by the way they
have taken time to get to know Mum as the person she is, providing reassurance, encouragement and warmth. The home itself is bright, airy and cheerful. Reception and admin personnel are all incredibly friendly and helpful. All are a credit to Lovell Place.

I spent twenty-one days respite care in Lovell Place Care Home following a visit to hospital and a different care home after a fall at home in early January.
I found Lovell Place very welcoming and I was taken good care of for my short visit. I was given confidence and encouragement every day. I was
well-fed and slept well too. I would like to have seen more emphasis put on exercises to aid my recovery.

We, as a family, are extremely satisfied with this lovely place. I can't believe how lucky we are to have my mum stay here, it's like a five-star hotel. We would recommend this home to everyone.

Lovell Place has transformed my dad from a very sad, introverted widower back to the happy, hilarious and confident person that he was before my mum was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and subsequently passed away. He came to the home lonely and working on his mobility having fallen at home and broken his
hip. Today he is happier than I have known him be for many years. The care and encouragement he has received from all members of the team is exemplary. Each homemaker that cares for him is respectful but friendly making him feel very welcome and cared for and about. The nursing staff are on the ball with all aspects of his medical requirements and access to GP’s has been brilliant - they have a good relationship with a local surgery who visit every week.
Running out of space but every single member of staff that we have dealt with has been phenomenal. Thank you all so much for being brilliant.

My dad stayed at Lovell Place for 2 weeks respite to give my mum some time away.
Dad really benefitted from being around different people and having the opportunity to engage in different activities really helped with his engagement and dementia.
The staff were all very supportive of us as a family
as it was Dad's 1st time in care and we are looking at more respite for later this year.

We were shown around Lovell Place and we were absolutely amazed, it's absolutely gorgeous, the rooms are very bright and airy, every room has its own bathroom and the spa bathroom is gorgeous. The staff are amazing, friendly and very helpful as we navigate this very difficult path. They cannot do enough
for us helping us at every turn, anything we need to know, they help us, it's not the position my father-in-law wants but he knows what he requires, we know he is safe and very well looked after, which has put our minds at rest. Every little thing has been taken care of by the home, we couldn't have chosen a better place. PS the cake in reception is divine! Thank you to all staff for the level of care you provide for our dad.

I was very satisfied with the care I received in Lovell Place. There were just two concerns which I had - 1) the younger staff needed more training. All very pleasant and polite though. 2) I was in Lovell Place for two weeks, but my room wasn't cleaned at all. The bathroom was cleaned twice.

I cannot speak highly enough of the quality of care my mother received in the four weeks of respite she spent in Lovell Place. This was an emergency placement, following her premature discharge from hospital, and the response from every member of staff was nothing short of outstanding, from the comprehensive
assessment by the medical staff of her care needs, which was organised on the very same day we contacted them, to the reception she received the next day from all the carers and managers when she was admitted. The proof of the effectiveness of my mum's care is that, within a matter of days, she moved from an anxious, confused, and disoriented patient to a happy, comfortable, and relaxed resident. I would recommend this care home without the slightest reservation.

Mum really appreciates the care and attention that she has received since moving to Lovell Place Care Home. The staff have been very supportive throughout her stay and pay a lot of attention to detail, individual care and wellbeing. She is really enjoying the company of others and that of the loving
staff. Her health has improved massively due to the ongoing support of the professional staff at Lovell Place. She really enjoys the activities which have lifted her spirit to no end. We would like to say a big thank you to all for your care and attention.

I cannot thank everyone at Lovell Place Care Home enough, from our first meeting to arrange a viewing, to the flexibility and understanding of providing online assessments and the devoted care and attention the staff give to those in their care. The love and attention that they provide are reflected
in the smiles of my aunt and her general health and well-being, which has definitely improved under their care due to the staff's attention to detail in looking after individual needs. I have been overwhelmed by how special the individual carers and nurses in this team are. They also care about the whole family and always greet me warmly as a member of their family. Thank you

Lovell Place Care Home has been an absolute winner from the very beginning. Everything from the rooms, facilities, food and so on, together with the wonderful and caring staff, has made the experience for both my parents and us such a positive one. After living in their home for 66 years, moving into
a care environment was the unknown. However, Mum and Dad both agree they couldn't be in a better place and are very happy, as we all are, knowing how well they're being looked after.

Every time I go to see my wife’s mother we are greeted with warm smiles from all staff, asking always if we need anything. The level of care and love given to their residents is outstanding. I would recommend this care home to anyone.

When we were initially shown round Lovell Place Care Home we had a good feeling. Everything is absolutely beautiful; the balconies will be great for summer months. The staff, all of them, are absolutely excellent and my mum is getting the best care at Lovell. Cannot fault anything about it. Food looks
delicious. Highly recommend.

Daney has a proven record of transforming homes needing improvement, with notable success in raising CQC ratings. Before nursing, she worked in retail and ran a family business. Living in the Southwest of England, outside of work Daney has a love for baking, interior design, and dressmaking.
