I could not have found anywhere better for my father when sadly he needed full time care. Completely exceeds all my expectations.
Everybody is so kind and caring to myself and my partner. I am so happy for Lovell Place Care Home to be his forever home.

They’re taking excellent care of my father, consequently he has settled in quickly. I’m happy to leave my father in the hands of the Lovell Place team, I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a care home in the area.

From the moment we were shown around the beautiful Lovell place we knew it was the place for mum. The facilities are excellent staff so friendly and helpful. Mum has now moved in and loving the spa bath and salon. Her room is lovely and comfortable and bright. The food is great and she has enjoyed all
her meals. Huge weight off our shoulders knowing she is being so well looked after.

Daney Thomas is the Home Manager at Lovell Place. As a General Nurse with over 23 years of experience, she has earned an NVQ 5 in Leadership and Management, as well as an MA in English Literature. Much of her career has been in the private sector, managing both residential and nursing homes. Daney has a proven record of transforming homes needing improvement, with notable success in raising CQC ratings. Before nursing, she worked in retail and ran a family business. Living in the Southwest of England, outside of work Daney has a love for baking, interior design, and dressmaking.
