Following a complete renovation, White House Care Home opened in November 2022 and offers residential, dementia, nursing and respite care for up to 50 residents on an all-inclusive basis.

As well as delivering high quality, personalised care, White House Care Home is also focused on ensuring residents have a great quality of life. There is plenty on offer, with residents free to engage as much or as little as they wish. From arts & crafts, a hair and beauty salon, a café, a cinema room and regular activities arranged by the activities team, each day is designed to be engaging and enjoyable. For residents who prefer their down time, the spacious and homely en suite bedrooms offer a tranquil and private area and there are also great living areas and courtyard gardens.

The White House has been extremely welcoming and caring from day 1. My grandad moved in 10 months ago and, from the first time we walked in, to this day the standards haven’t slipped. Everything is clean, fresh and well-presented – there are thoughtful touches everywhere that make the home a proper
‘home’ rather than just a care facility. None of this is as important as the staff who are all wonderful. Not just the carers and nurses but the whole team – reception, cleaning, management, the activities coordinator. we are so impressed with everyone. Whilst going into a care home was not my grandad’s first choice, the White House has turned out to be the best choice. He is the most like his old self that we have seen in a long time post-stroke, and being part of this friendly and supportive community has no doubt helped that.

The ambience at White House is amazing and my mother is made to feel important! The staff are friendly and considerate treating my mother with kindness and dignity. They greet her by name and with a smile. My mother has been able to settle in gradually despite saying she never wanted to go into care!
The facilities are modern and comfortable yet classy with the White House having been tastefully and practically decorated. The comprehensive activities schedule provides mental, physical and social stimulation for my mother. As family members, we also have been made to welcome by all the staff and our input/suggestions on our mother's care have been heard and followed through.

We moved our 91-year-old mother into the White House recently after she had a fall whilst staying at relations' in Bournemouth. After a hospital stay and respite, she did not get the chance to go home so it was a difficult situation. The home is immaculate and the staff are so patient and friendly.
Everyone says 'hello' whenever they see us and our mother. They had a cake and reception for her birthday. We attended a relation's reception where the team discussed the plans for the year and were very open.

My mother-in-law has been at the White House since April following a number of stays in hospital following the death of my father-in-law. She has been looked after by the team at the home so well. They not only manage all medication and physical care but they have had a big impact on her mental health.
She is much happier surrounded by positive people who encourage her to join in activities and also arrange such a wide range of activities to suit everyone.

The staff have always been very kind to my grandmother. In May we sadly lost my grandfather and the staff were very respectful towards his needs and her feelings. I believe that all of the activities, consistent meals and making friends with other residents have guided her through a dark time. I also
believe that she couldn't be in a better place for helping with her needs and the staff are always kind to the whole of my family when we visit.

I have to say this this care home is the best I have ever encountered. It looks stunning like a hotel but cosy like a home. The staff are wonderful and the care is very good. I have to say the cleanliness is top standard and the housekeeping team are fantastic. The laundry is also well done with freshly
pressed clothes coming back each day.

I was really upset about having to arrange a care home for my husband. It was not what I wanted to do. I chose the White House and was very impressed from my initial visit. The staff are always wonderful, caring and professional. The whole staff are involved with all the residents, and they are all
like one family. Everyone works together to provide excellent care from the receptionist, housekeeping, maintenance and carers. As I have said, this is not where I want my husband to be, but this is the best that I could find. High recommend.

The house is very fresh and modern. Activities are varied and seem appropriate for the clients using them. All the staff seem very caring and helpful. The facilities for visitors are good and appreciated and open visiting is great. Each room is comfortable and warm.

I cannot rate this care home and the staff working there highly enough. It really is more like a luxury hotel. My dad recently visited for 2 weeks respite and was very anxious about being in a care setting, away from home for the first time. The lady on reception, the care home manager and all the lovely
staff couldn’t have done more to make sure he was put at ease, made to feel welcome and despite his numerous care needs, they always ensured he was treated with kindness, dignity and respect. We will definitely be looking to use them again.

I have been visiting a resident at the home since he moved here around 2 months ago. He was reluctant to be in a care home (and made sure everyone knew it), but the staff have been accommodating, kind and patient with him. Everyone I have met has unanimously been a pleasure to deal with. Call bells
are answered promptly, requests are accommodated where possible, and I'm seeing genuinely person-centred care. The home manager is a lovely lady, who is very willing to work with residents' families to get the best outcome for the resident - We are currently working on a plan for a special outing for the resident I visit, and both the home manager and activities lady have helped with working out logistics etc. All in all, a well-led, friendly and personal home which I can't praise enough.

I am very happy with my experience at the White House. The management and all nursing/care staff treat all residents and visitors with kindness and dignity. The home is always clean and tidy, with a warm and inviting environment. My parent's care is excellent, and I am kept up to date with their nursing
and medications. The rooms are very well suited to the resident's needs. The food and drinks provided are excellent, with a choice of fresh food every day. The activities are carefully throughout, and most are inclusive for all. I have no concerns regarding safety and security.
