Staff are clearly well chosen for their ability to relate to and care for residents with dementia and other needs - the care and dignity of residents are a clear priority for all staff, regardless of role. The variety of activities available and connections with schools and other providers add a dimension
to the activities. The accommodation and outside areas are inviting and well-planned. Residents with dementia are kept secure by the use of coded access - there is no possibility of a fall on stairs or unaccompanied access to unsafe areas.

Wow! My aunt is flourishing since she moved into this wonderful new care home in February. She is engaging with all the fun activities and has a new lease of life, singing, dancing, creating crafts and enjoying outings. The care is first-class from all staff, whatever their role. Everything is done
professionally with love and laughter. My aunt is happy and energised in a way we haven't seen for a long time. We are grateful for the ways we are included in her care plan and invited to events set out in the monthly programme. A huge thank you from us to the whole team and I know my aunt thanks you every day.

To say that making the decision to move my father to a care home was difficult is an understatement, but it was the best decision we could have made.
My father is happy and beautifully cared for at Chartwell House Care Home. Living at Chartwell House has given him a social life once more. He has enjoyed
trying out new hobbies, tasting new foods and meeting new people. There are always activities happening which Dad is invited to join in and often he does but equally, if he wants some time alone to read the paper or watch TV, his right to choose is always respected.
The staff could not be kinder or more understanding and the welcome given when stepping over the threshold is warm and friendly.
Not having to worry about Dad's welfare anymore has massively improved the quality of life of our entire family and I can't thank the staff enough.

We cannot thank the management and staff enough for their very professional and loving care towards our mum on a daily basis. Also, around the time of our father’s recent tragic death, they ensured the necessary arrangements had been made to help us get through a really sad and emotional last four months
of our lives.
Chartwell House Care Home is very modern with beautiful decor and purpose-built, state-of-the-art technology and tools. Ultimately, however, what makes the difference are the staff that work there, from the senior management down, we simply cannot praise them all highly enough.
It’s such a fun-loving and imaginative set-up but who are always looking to raise their bar of excellence in everything they do there. I simply cannot imagine a nicer place to trust looking after our now 90-year-old mum with dementia, who’s now got a smile on her face, once again with the love and attention she receives on a daily, basis since being widowed just under four months ago.

Just walking into the facility you can see and feel the difference between Chartwell House Care Home from other care homes.
From the positive attitudes of the staff to the eye-pleasing decor, lots of natural sunlight throughout and the numerous engaging activities that the residents are encouraged
to participate in.
I feel that Chartwell House not only improved my uncle's quality of life but longevity as well. Thank you to all that make up Chartwell House!

Amazing environment. Spacious and welcoming. Staff members have all been extremely helpful, both prior to admission and then as a resident. Activities are varied and greatly enjoyed. Have not been there at mealtimes but the menus look delicious. Outside areas and gardens are looking great - looking
forward to using the outside space in warmer weather. Strong feeling of one great team working well together for the benefit of the residents.

Diane joined Boutique Care Homes in August 2022 to launch Chartwell House Care Home. With over 30 years of experience, Diane believes that caring for and being part of another person’s life journey is an immense privilege and loves to see residents smile. High-quality compassionate care is Diane’s passion, and she is committed to supporting families throughout their care journey. Diane takes the time to know & understand each person’s values, preferences and wishes, treating every resident like family. Her own personal experiences have helped Diane to understand what families are feeling and the struggles that they are facing. This drives her to provide the best service in a person-centred way for all residents and to support them to continue to lead a fulfilled and enriched life.

Kerrie McNamara

Kerrie is a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Manager with over 15 years of leadership experience across the healthcare sector, including community-based domiciliary services, live-in care, and, most notably, care homes—where she discovered her true passion.


With a strong belief in empowering others, Kerrie specialises in building positive, inclusive team cultures that enable people to thrive. I have worked for many years in a variety of care settings, providing me with a unique insight into the emotions and complexities of delivering and receiving care, which at some stage we may all come to know first-hand. As such investing time and energy into promoting excellence in care is therefore an investment into our own futures, whilst ensuring the very best for the people we are entrusted to look after today.


So, without question, my move to join the growing team at Chartwell House and become part of Boutique Care Homes fits with my beliefs. My mantra is to try and do at least one good deed a day, and to smile at everyone, it makes it really difficult for them to do anything other than smile back at you!


We all have great plans and aspirations for Chartwell House and I for one can’t wait to open the doors to our first residents a start making magical memories.

I have worked within office environments for the last seven years since finishing my education, with my knowledge predominately within the care industry.


In my spare time, I enjoy visiting the cinema, participating in gym activities and spending time with my family and friends.
