Kerrie is a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Manager with over 15 years of leadership experience across the healthcare sector, including community-based domiciliary services, live-in care, and, most notably, care homes—where she discovered her true passion.
With a strong belief in empowering others, Kerrie specialises in building positive, inclusive team cultures that enable people to thrive. Her approach is centred on supporting each team member to deliver outstanding, personalised care, while ensuring that every resident feels genuinely valued and at home.
From her very first visit to Chartwell House, Kerrie felt an immediate connection. “I instantly found that warm and loving feeling, where everyone feels at home,” she shared—words that reflect the heart of Boutique Care Homes’ ethos.
I have worked for many years in a variety of care settings, providing me with a unique insight into the emotions and complexities of delivering and receiving care, which at some stage we may all come to know first-hand. As such investing time and energy into promoting excellence in care is therefore an investment into our own futures, whilst ensuring the very best for the people we are entrusted to look after today.
So, without question, my move to join the growing team at Chartwell House and become part of Boutique Care Homes fits with my beliefs. My mantra is to try and do at least one good deed a day, and to smile at everyone, it makes it really difficult for them to do anything other than smile back at you!
We all have great plans and aspirations for Chartwell House and I for one can’t wait to open the doors to our first residents a start making magical memories.
I have worked within office environments for the last seven years since finishing my education, with my knowledge predominately within the care industry.
In my spare time, I enjoy visiting the cinema, participating in gym activities and spending time with my family and friends.
I feel privileged to be doing this role and I am looking forward to welcoming in the residents and getting to know them and their families.
The most rewarding part of caring for me is making others smile and making a difference. I am excited to utilise my knowledge here at Chartwell House and to be a part of the growing team.
