My mother was in the stage of end of life care and the care, dedication and understanding given to my mother in the last two weeks of her life by all the staff and management team can only be described as marvellous.

My father became a resident of this exceptional care home in May 2023 after a 12-week stay in the hospital. He has flourished in a caring, happy environment. All aspects of the home are excellent, from his large bedroom with a wet room to the beautiful dining rooms and cosy lounges. Under their care,
he has put on weight thanks to the first-class food and regained a lot of the abilities that he’d lost due to a long stay in hospital.
As a family, we have found the staff supportive, caring and very professional, but that personal touch is always there, and nothing has been too much trouble from arranging for new glasses to getting broken dentures fixed.
Placing a loved one in a care home is a very daunting prospect, but all the staff at Cofton Court Manor have helped us along the journey from day one.

Lovely care home, staff so friendly and the residents totally cared for. Can't thank them enough for their time and care they have shown. Highly recommended. On my part, takes a long time to actually find a care home so caring because if your family member isn't happy, we are not. We are more than happy.

Mom is having respite care after not having the best of experiences at another provider. Cofton Park Manor has restored her and our confidence and she has had a great start to her care. She has already taken part in several activities, which she has enjoyed. A crucial requirement for Mom is use and
availability of a hoist and sling, which is also working very well.

My wife and I have lived together for 43 years. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with dementia after Covid although I had realised earlier that she was struggling with her memory. At the end of June, I became very frightened when she stopped eating and was hardly drinking. I took her to our GP but they
didn’t appear to appreciate the gravity of the situation even after I had explained it to them. I had already started looking for care homes and eventually one recommended Cofton Park Manor. I was very desperate because I knew she now needed 24-hour care and very patient attention to feeding her and ensuring she got as much fluid as possible. The staff at Cofton provided that but even they couldn’t entice her to take much nutrition. Sadly she died in the home but I was offered a bedroom for her last night and this enabled me to be with her to the last. I shall always be grateful to all those who tried so hard to help her. Thank you all for your caring attitude.

Everyone is very friendly and welcoming, everywhere is very clean and tidy and nothing is too much trouble. My father is quite happy there. There is also plenty of entertainment and interaction for the residents should they want to join in.

My Mom joined the residents at Cofton a couple of months ago, following a series of unfortunate experiences with the NHS hospitals she had been admitted to. Thanks to the relations lead and the manager and the team, Mom was speedily assessed and accepted into her new family at Cofton, this has resulted
in a complete transformation of my Mom's well-being, from her appearance to her new outlook on her life, and the activities she is enjoying with the other really friendly residents and the Cofton Homemakers, who are there totally dedicated to ensuring everyone has a great time.
Also, special mention to the catering team food looks super.

Mother stayed at Cofton Park Manor Care Home for just over 3 weeks in order for my sister (carer) to holiday.
Mom had a wonderful experience, great food, activities, and staff. She was made to feel welcome from the moment she walked through the entrance. Although Mom has been diagnosed with dementia
she has made friends quickly and on my visits she was clearly enjoying her time there.

I think all the carers are marvellous, I have made lots of new friends to chat to. I like it when we have entertainers in as I like to dance and I also enjoy the activities that are available. The food is good and if there is something I don't like, they offer me something else instead. I am happy here.
My bedroom is beautiful, the best of the lot.

As a family we moved my mom into Cofton Park Manor Care Home due to falls she was having at home. It was a hard decision to make but it was the best. Mom has had no falls since moving in and she has lots of ladies to talk to which she hadn't before. It is lovely to see her so happy.

My husband came in for two weeks in April.
On arrival, we were absolutely stunned by the wonderful approach to his room with a most beautiful bow on the door and chocolates and cards to welcome him.
This carried on as if it was Easter!
All the staff were very attentive and nothing too much trouble
- a very high standard.
A lot of entertainment going on every day.
I would certainly recommend Cofton Park to anyone.

My husband spent ten days at Cofton Park Manor Care Home whilst I took a break from caring for him. The communications were excellent from the first contact to the end of the respite. His complex medical conditions were assessed very effectively and monitored whilst he was a resident.
The quality
of care was excellent, we have no complaints and would certainly recommend Cofton Park Manor to others and use it in the future.

I have had such a wonderful time since moving into Cofton Park Manor Care Home. All the staff have been so friendly and supportive. We have moved in together, my wife and I, and it has helped me to make sure my wife is cared for while I have chemo. I was worried about what would happen to her. Now I

On entering Cofton Park Manor Care Home you are immediately aware of the friendly and warm atmosphere of the home and home is exactly what it is. All the homemakers (care staff) are so dedicated to the health and welfare of the residents. Nothing is too much trouble. There is something for everyone.
Morning and afternoon activities range from quizzes, crafts, music entertainment, film shows, helping in the beautiful garden, outings and many more. The dining rooms serve choices of homemade meals although meals can be served in the resident's rooms if wanted. This home from home with all the care you will ever need.

I can’t praise enough. We’ve been welcomed with open arms. It’s such a relief knowing my mom is being well cared for. It’s a real luxury home but has a homely feel. All the staff are so warm, friendly, kind, compassionate and good fun. Special mention to two members of staff in particular who are both
so personable, helpful and caring and a real credit to the home. My mom has settled in really well which was helped by getting to know the place first by being able to come to the activities/entertainment. The rooms are lovely, spacious and really homely. The food is delicious and it doesn’t feel like a care home, more like a luxury hotel. It’s a lovely place to spend time with residents and visitors who are all made to feel really welcome. From the first time we walked through the door, we got ‘that feeling’ and knew it was the right place. From my mom saying to me please don’t put me in a home to book me a room here! It’s so nice to see her happy, relaxed and smiling. Thank you to all the staff.

My mother arrived in February 2023 and had the most amazing welcome from all the staff. What a beautiful place with the most caring staff. My mum settled into her new life quite quickly (considering her stroke which has left her totally reliant on her homemakers). The care she is receiving is first-class.
So glad we chose this care home for her. My mum now feels safe and I am feeling much less stressed now I know she's in such good hands. Thank you all.

After starting as a receptionist at Cofton Park Manor, Diane Riach was promoted to the position of Business Administrator. Diane has been in the care industry for more than 6 years, and she exudes professionalism with a friendly face and a welcoming atmosphere. Diane is thrilled to be a part of the Cofton Park Manor family and works hard to make sure the administration department runs smooth for the benefit of the residents, staff, and families.

Job Title: Well-being Coach

A skilled Well-being coach, Gail Bessent came to Cofton Park Manor when it first opened in 2023. Gail feels there is a very strong connection between the mind and body. Even for the less mobile, maintaining an active lifestyle can have a positive mental impact. Gail is dedicated to supporting each and every resident in pursuing their interests, incorporating their hobbies, and taking pleasure in their free time. Gail adores all things artistic and creative and is constantly seeking new sources of motivation.

Sam Janes

Job Title: Head Chef

Sam Janes has worked in care for seven of his sixteen successful years as a chef. Working in two rosette restaurants, hotels, and fine dining establishments handling high volume operations before joining Cofton Park Manor. Sam is very passionate about his cooking and believes working in the care industry is very fulfilling and meaningful.


Outside of work, Sam likes to keep sports by playing football and golf in his free time.

Steven Newton

Job Title: Maintenance Officer

Steven Newton worked in the water industry for more than 19 years ago and previously worked as a maintenance technician. With extensive experience in many maintenance duties, Steven is enthusiastic about his responsibilities to guarantee the health and security of all residents, staff & Visitors at Cofton Park Manor. Steven is an avid sportsman who spends his weekends trekking and mountain biking throughout the UK.
