Funding & Fees

Standard fees at Hatfield Manor cover a wide range of high-quality services designed to support residents’ comfort, wellbeing, and daily living. This includes all meals and refreshments, housekeeping, laundry, personal care, and access to a full programme of activities and events. Residents also enjoy full use of all communal lounges, dining areas, landscaped gardens, and on-site amenities.


In addition to the standard offering, there are optional extras available to enhance the resident experience. My mother was sent to Hatfield Manor for palliative care at the end of February 2024; she sadly passed away just 3 weeks later. Her needs were complex, but the care she received was exceptional; she was treated with great kindness and dignity throughout her stay. I am so grateful that my mother's last
days were spent in such lovely, caring surroundings.
The home is beautiful, from the elegant reception area to the spacious, beautifully decorated bedrooms and communal spaces. Hatfield Manor is not like any care home that I have ever been in, it always smells and looks lovely and clean, the staff are motivated and the residents seem very content and well looked after.
The home manager and the staff are excellent. Every member of staff that I met smiled and introduced themselves on the first meeting, always said hello and couldn't have been kinder to us when our mother passed away.
Hatfield Manor is a supreme example of how a care home should be and I would highly recommend it.

We were offered a place at Hatfield Manor on November 2nd. Mum took residence on Monday 6th, she was confident and content with the knowledge that the home and staff were going to make her final weeks as comfortable as possible. My sister moved to Hatfield Manor Care Home in October 2023, and she spent the last 3 months of her life there. This beautiful, new, purpose-built care home offered her a home from home.
It provided her the safety and palliative support she needed whilst enabling her to continue to live independently
for as long as possible. The staff there were amazing. The home manager and her team provided outstanding care from day one.
The staff really cared for my sister, and we were very touched when seven of the team attended her funeral. The in-house nursing team took great care of my sister's complex medical needs.
My sister was able to remain in the home for end-of-life care, surrounded by her family and being cared for by staff who knew and cared very much for her. The support my family and I received from the staff was incredible.
I will be forever grateful to the team for taking such great care of my sister.

My best friend was a resident and sadly passed away to a terminal disease. The care myself and her family was shown was outstanding. Every single carer showed how much care they had for my friend. They looked after her when we were not there. The care home was so clean and tidy. It was my friend's birthday
recently and the care home went all out for her... they got her three cakes and decorated the lounge. They sung to her and made her feel extra special. I am totally overwhelmed that my friend spent her last few months in a place she could call home. A huge thank you to each and every one of the staff at Hatfield Manor. For me a big shout out to one member of staff in particular who stood out for me and showed such respect to my best friend. From the bottom of my heart thank you.

I am very pleased my mother-in-law spent her last weeks surrounded by a pleasant, friendly, kind and professional team. The infrastructure and services were excellent and comforting for the family during this time and the team could not have faulted for how they cared for my mother-in-law and the whole

Care overlapped a change of management with new manager, much more effective and efficient, implementing changes to security with immediate effect. Care and nursing staff extremely dedicated and considerate of client needs. Food provided was excellent in standard, nutrition and presentation, but adaptation
needed to choices to allow for more traditional tastes of elderly clients e.g. stews, meat and 2 veg and gravy, etc. Menus not displayed which would help relatives. That said, chefs were amenable to change to soft foods or offer to cook alternatives. New manager implementing once a month communication/meet with families which is much appreciated as home becomes busier and more occupied.

My stepfather was discharged to Hatfield Manor via the NHS to be cared for in the last months of his 93 year life from hospital.
The carers treated him with absolute love and care throughout his six weeks with Hatfield Manor. Nothing was any trouble. Both my mum and I could leave him every night knowing
that he was safe and being treated with humanity.
The accommodation, facilities, and provisions were first class. I can't recommend enough.

The care my father-in-law is receiving is first-class. The staff are all caring in a very professional manner. My father-in-law was very nervous at the start but settled so quickly with the help of the staff. He is smiley, and comfortable and loves to praise the staff. The food is of an excellent standard
and plentiful. As a family, we are all overjoyed with everything.

As the first resident at Hatfield Manor our mother had little to go on other than the amazing quality of the rooms, communal areas and the proactive management team getting everything ready for opening. From the very first day I have been hugely impressed with every aspect of the operation on site from
the high quality medical supervision to the care team and the catering staff. All focused on wellbeing and adding those little touches which make a difference during the day.
I would absolutely recommend Hatfield Manor as an example of the next generation of care homes which are now setting the standards missing in the older institutions.

My husband has dementia and is a very complex case, he is only 68.
The home itself is beautiful and my husband has a lovely spacious room. That aside, does not compare to the excellent staff.
The whole team at Hatfield Manor have been so supportive and understanding.
My husband loves the food
and even the chef takes time out to come and chat to him.
The care staff have taken the time to engage with my husband in his love of music.
We had an issue with my husband at the weekend and a member of staff, who my husband I very comfortable with, stayed two hours after her shift ended to calm him down.
The staff are clearly very well trained and it seems more than just a job to them.
I would wholeheartedly recommend this home.

Our mother is enjoying a fantastic quality of life at Hatfield Manor. Seven of us recently gathered together as a family to share a delicious meal in the fine dining room where we enjoyed some wonderful moments which we never thought we would get again. Staff are sensitive to our needs as relatives
every bit as much as they are to our mother's as a resident, the care, both medical and pastoral, is exemplary, thank you so much.
