My Mother moved here three weeks ago and has settled in very well. The staff are all very caring. The facilities are excellent and the home appears to be run very satisfactorily.

My long-standing friend whom I was acting as Power of Attorney for spent his last two months in the care of the staff at Nodens Manor. I could not fault the care and attention that was afforded him. Every single member of staff that I encountered showed an outstanding degree of professionalism and devotion of duty in ensuring his every need was met. They were caring, gentle, courteous and compassionate. They also extended this level of care and attention to all of his family and friends who came to visit and nothing was ever too much trouble.

The facilities are excellent and the whole building exudes a calm, safe and peaceful environment where residents can relax or join in when the mood takes them.

Whilst at Nodens Manor Dad was cared for by the most amazing team. They spent time getting to know and like him. This was obvious in their interactions with him. Moving Dad from his home to Nodens was a big step for us all but the team supported us in the most sensitive, caring and professional way, for this we will always be thankful.

The home is well planned with both community and private areas where family can visit. Visitors are welcome and always offered a coffee or tea, which makes it more of a 'home' for residents. It has been a great move for my mother.

I approached Nodens in early July, as my mum was going to be discharged from hospital. She had been in hospital for five months. I was so happy that she was accepted, as I was concerned that her medical needs were too much. We are on her sixth day and cannot praise all the staff enough. The night manager makes my mum feel very secure, as she suffers from anxiety. It is very relaxed and feels like home.

My mother and I were made to feel very welcome from our very first visit to Nodens Manor. All members of the Nodens Team have been very kind and professional and have done their utmost to make Mum comfortable and happy here. Nothing is too much trouble; new handrails were fixed in the shower room to suit her needs, a personal telephone was installed, her room was arranged to enable her to have her own recliner chair and newspapers were ordered for her. Mum’s health and wellbeing are constantly monitored and medical help promptly sought when needed. Her personal care is delivered with care and kindness. Mum can enjoy a walk around the garden safely and enjoys chatting with other residents and all the team members from each department. The communal areas are attractive, spacious and air-conditioned. Members of the family have been enjoying joining Mum occasionally for lunch in the dining room, where we have all been spoilt. Nodens Manor is a place Mum and the family are proud to call home.

My dad and mum have been in Nodens Manor for about three months and it is the best decision they have made in a long time. They were struggling living at home and the restrictions of Covid-19 had left them isolated, but moving to Nodens has given them a quality of life back. The staff are wonderful and they actually listen and want to make things better; it is so reassuring to know that Dad and Mum are safe and well cared for. Thank you Nodens.

The staff are always friendly, welcoming and offering tea/coffee etc. My friend is always comfortable and the bell is answered at once when she presses it. Lovely surroundings, plenty to do for residents who are up to it.

If anyone is thinking of going here be careful to check everything over because my cousin was misled and ended up in hospital and was declared homeless after he had paid and his sister still hasn't had any answers.
