Anchor's Skelton Court is a luxurious, purpose-built care home. It welcomes new residents. Skelton Court provides residential and residential dementia care for up to 65 older people in a supportive environment, finished to the highest standard and incorporating the latest supportive technology. Skelton Court is close to Saltburn-by-the-Sea and the lovely North East coast.

Skelton Court's impressive facilities include all bedrooms with en suite wet room facilities, a bar area, quiet lounges, a hair and beauty salon and activity areas to be arranged with residents' input. It is surrounded by private landscaped gardens with outdoor seating areas. Some bedrooms benefit from stunning sea views. The home is located in the heart of Skelton-in-Cleveland within a short distance of shops, schools and places to eat and drink.

The home is proud to have achieved Veteran Friendly Framework (VFF) accreditation to provide personally tailored care for veterans.

I'm so pleased my mother-in-law is living in this 5-star care home. All staff/management are excellent. Very nice atmosphere, a spotless place. Talking to other residents, they are also happy and loving being there. Keep up the good work all of you.

Everyone has looked after me very well. Food good. Rooms and facilities are OK. The staff are friendly and always helpful. Apart from being in my own home, I couldn't live in a better place.

Skelton Court is a lovely place to live, I only went there for two weeks of respite but have fell in love with the place, the staff are all kind and caring. The food is exceptional, I am on a wheat and dairy-free diet and the cooks and carers all provided so well for me. Lovely gardens and lounges,
always provided entertainment and many cups of tea, all in all, a pleasant stay.

Facility matches the impressive website presence. New well-designed, homely environment, including small lounges, views of the sea and garden. Staff very attentive and welcoming. Our mother, despite her dementia, has settled well and has told us she was pleased with her "choice of flat". On each visit,
we were offered refreshments. Despite living on the other side of the world, we feel pleased that Mum has the best home for her care.

My father came to the home and was welcomed by the happy, thoughtful staff. The carers made sure that my dad's needs were tended to in all areas. It is a bright and cheerful home where all staff greet us, even the dogs. I live in Australia and will be returning there soon, so I am so grateful that he
is in a beautiful home with carers and staff that really care. I would recommend this care home to anyone who is considering a place for their loved ones. A safe, cheerful and clean home. Thank you.

As I was Dad's carer, it was a very hard decision to put my dad into care. From the moment I walked into Skelton Court, I knew it was the right place for him. The home has a friendly, homely feel. Staff are professional, but at the same time, caring and loving. Nothing is too much trouble. My dad has
dementia, and since being in the home, he has become more engaging - chatting, laughing and dancing... not to mention the singing! I can rest easy knowing how well cared for my dad is. It is the beginning of a new life chapter, and I can now become my dad's daughter, once again, instead of his carer. Highly recommend this lovely home.

My mother-in-law was admitted to Skelton Court for respite. I cannot fault in any way the care my mother-in-law has received. The home itself is five-star, and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking first-class care in all areas.

I have been aware of the group's homes for 50 years. I have spent time in other care homes, but none compare to Skelton Court and the care home services. I became aware recently of the opening of Skelton Court and applied, and to my delight, I found out I would become the first-ever resident. I am now
in my third week, and the whole experience has been so professional. The home is just like a first-class hotel. The staff and management have been so helpful and friendly, and no tasks are too big or small for them. The food and menus have been excellent, with a great range of choices to choose from. All facilities are first class, and I am very happy to be here and to be safely looked after by the excellent Skelton Court team and management.

Hello, my name is Tony, and I am relatively new to the Anchor family, but I have worked within the social care field for over 35 years. My journey to Anchor Court began in my early 20s when I became a Senior carer in a small residential home in Middlesbrough. It’s been an incredible journey to get here, which has rewarded me with the skills I need to provide an environment where staff are able to deliver personalised care to residents, knowing that the resident is at the centre of everything we do.


I’m excited about the rest of my journey with Anchor and being Skelton Court's Registered Manager. I look forward to meeting you and supporting you to find the right care to meet your needs. I would like to invite you to pop in for a chat and a look around the home.

Ahoj, (Hi) my name is Rasto I was born Slovakia and came to the UK in 2001. My first role within care was a Housekeeper role in residential care home. I migrated over to care becoming a care assistant rising to the role of Team Leader. I then became a Deputy Manager approximately 9 years ago.


I have worked for Anchor for approximately 8 years, the last 3 years as the Deputy Manager here at Skelton Court care home.

I have worked for Anchor for over 10 years and for the last two years I have enjoyed working at Skelton Court where we have a great team and wonderful residents. Within my role, I get to meet new people and I am passionate about supporting people living in a residential setting.


When I am not at work, I enjoy spending my time with my grandchildren and socialising with my friends and family.
A quirky fact about myself, as you can see, my name is very unusual, and I have my parents to thank for that. They were huge fans of Elvis Presley so decided to call me Elvisa after him.
