My stay in Sycamore Grove on all occasions has been one of pleasure. They were very caring, staff who work hard to make my stay so enjoyable. A program to encourage me to help getting to know other residents and good for wellbeing. Garden friendly for disabled, I like being outdoors. A doctor from local surgery calls in so helpful! In conclusion, my stay was like being in a large family home. I shall be going again for respite in the future.

This has been such a difficult and emotional time for our whole family, but the care, kindness and support we have received from everyone has meant more to us than we can put into words. They have supported us in every way possible, always taking the time to listen, reassure us and make us feel that our nan is truly cared for.
Whenever we visit, we are made to feel so welcome, and it is such a comfort to know that she is surrounded by such caring and compassionate people.

From the moment she arrived, the staff have shown genuine kindness, patience, and compassion. They take the time to get to know each resident personally, and it really shows in the way they care for her day-to-day needs.
The home is always clean, welcoming, and calm, with a lovely atmosphere that makes it feel more like a community than a facility. My nan is always encouraged to join in with the activities, which she absolutely loves, and it's been amazing to see her so happy, engaged, and well looked after.
Communication with the family is great too - we're always kept informed, and the team are easy to talk to and incredibly supportive.
I'm truly grateful for the outstanding care they provide. Knowing my nan is safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for.

Recently we experienced a bereavement and every member of the team went out of their way and went over and above to support us all which we were so grateful for. Mum has recently moved into Sycamore Grove Care Home following a couple of stays in respite care. Mum has stayed at Sycamore Grove before and her experience has been very good. The atmosphere is inclusive, caring and kind with staff available to assist or entertain as needed. There is a programme of activities which is quite varied and plenty of spaces for quiet times if required. From my point of view Sycamore Grove gives me peace of mind that mum is being well cared for and she is safe. Since arriving the staff have made a real effort to improve her health and to ensure she is well looked after. I am very happy that mum is staying at Sycamore Grove long term.

Hudson is our therapy friend who joins us in the home every couple of weeks for a visit. Hudson is a cuddly, friendly dog who enjoys his visits and loves his long runs through our garden. He is always welcoming to anyone who wishes to stroke him, but if you are a little nervous, he will sense it and keep his distance.
Hudson is a much-loved member of our community!
