I am delighted to have joined the St Giles View team. I am enjoying meeting and getting to know my colleagues, our residents, family, friends, and members of the local community.
Above all, I am passionate about looking after people and using my teaching skills to help further develop the team here at St Giles View.
I began my journey with Brendoncare in 2019 as a registered general nurse. A year later, I was given the opportunity to step up into a role which I very much enjoyed and became Deputy Manager.
I am grateful to work alongside such a dedicated, extremely hard-working team. We all share a common goal of making a difference in other people’s lives and being able to put a smile on their faces.
Victoria Robbins (also known as Tor) is the Administrator at Brendoncare St Giles View and is passionate about working for charities. Following a steady career in Administrator/ Business roles, Tor has gained relevant training throughout.
Joining Brendoncare has continued her belief that an Administrator role is the backbone of every organisation and contributes to helping others. Outside of work, Tor has a wonderful family and enjoys being active.
I have an excellent knowledge of the care sector having worked in social care since 2013, firstly as a specialist dementia CareGiver and then as a community support and engagement Manager. I joined Brendoncare in 2017 as the first Customer Relations Manager and have been involved in the opening of Otterbourne Hill and, most recently, St Giles View. My role involves offering support and advice to anyone looking for care for themselves or their loved ones and ensuring that their move goes as smoothly as possible. In my spare time, I enjoy going for walks with my dog ‘Torvi’ and spending time with family. I am also a trained singer and used to run a dementia-friendly choir.
