This was my third visit to my dear old friend in her splendid care home but my first experience of lunch for her small group in special dining room. The food was delicious, the decor was beautiful the staff could not have been more kind, caring and fun, also attentive. Thank you!

We had a family lunch to celebrate my in-laws wedding anniversary. We had a very nice time, the hospitality manager prepared our table nicely. The food was good and the overall experience was a cheerful one.

Lovely to see Dad feel welcomed and safe by both staff and residents. Nice to see Dad making new friends and to see him happy and enjoy activities on offer at his own pace. Very happy to see Dad feeling settled well in his own room with things he cherishes in a safe and comfortable environment. For
Dad the care home is like a home from home, not just a care home or a hotel.

Whenever I arrive, I feel very welcomed by both staff and residents. My dad has settled in very well and thoroughly enjoys the activities an offer. The place is always and bright, clean and inviting. More of a hotel than a care home.

Attended a 90th resident's birthday. Lovely laid out table with a selection of sandwiches, cakes and birthday cake especially made by the chef. Lovely cup of tea. A room especially for the part with lovely views and warm. Staff very attentive, in and out to make sure everyone was okay.

I feel that Dad has been very well supported in his move to Tarring Manor and this has enabled him to feel part of the Tarring family and he has become a regular at many of the activities which gives him a focus for his day. I am made very welcome when I visit and all staff seem friendly and positive.
Dad enjoys the routine and having a weekly timetable of events. Tarring Manor is comfortable, attractive, open and airy which Dad very much likes.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Everywhere is so clean and fresh.
Offered coffee and biscuits when we were sitting in the lounge area. Very impressed, lovely care home and relative seems very happy there.

We are incredibly pleased with the care our grandmother has received at Tarring Manor. She enjoyed the activities, especially the chair bowls. Nana has nothing but nice things to say about each of her carers, especially one in particular who was the first to assist. Nana also enjoyed the chair exercise
(we liked that she was doing an activity). All the receptionists were lovely and all the staff went above and beyond. Thank you.

My husband who suffers from mixed dementia had a two-week respite break at Tarring Manor and I could not be more pleased with the home. I need not have worried about leaving him, the staff made him very welcome and feeling safe.
The rooms are beautiful and all facilities first class.

My auntie has happily settled very quickly into Tarring Manor. While visiting at various times throughout the day staff and management have been most welcoming, friendly, kind and consistent, nothing seems a bother or too much trouble. The other residents seemed happy and friendly too. The building
is bright, clean, fresh and seems more like a relaxing holiday home. Amazing. It seems every little detail has been considered! Wonderful facilities (a cinema room, hairdressers and 'tea/coffee cafe') and activities available. (I had popped in when bingo was on and another time a quiz had been organised, plus I could see puzzles, magazines and other games to hand). There was a beautiful outside garden to enjoy. My aunt's room was spacious and light and had a wonderful bathroom with everything she would need. My auntie complimented how lovely all the meals had been too! There is an air of calmness and tranquillity throughout.

My aunt stayed for two weeks of respite care after a fall. I can't fault a thing from the front-of-house team, the carers and hospitality team, they have all been fantastic. Thank you all so much.

I arrived at Tarring Manor for a respite week.
I was looking for one-to-one care and advice re my health etc. but this was very disjointed and I was told on one occasion to ring the bell if help was needed!
The staff were exemplary on a day-to-day basis but the changeovers meant there was no continuity
of the help and or care I required. The building itself is a 5-star rating but there are teething problems elsewhere. I found the dining room quite chaotic and at times definitely room for improvement. All the staff (bar one or two) were professional and helpful when required.

Care workers are all very kind and friendly. Comfortable room.
Only thing I found was poor selection of food and poorly presented, needs serious improvement.
My last night, I felt as I was going home the following day, the care was not there.

Tarring Manor has looked after my brother for a while now and he has settled in very well.
The facilities and food are excellent and the staff go the extra mile to find out about the hobbies and interests of the residents so as to find things to keep them occupied during the day.
The atmosphere always
seems happy and relaxed and the residents are treated with dignity and respect.
I would happily recommend this home.

Most refreshing change from visits to friends and family living in care homes in the past. A beautiful home with wonderful decor, to every bedroom, lounge, and dining room with linen cloths, for tables and linen napkins, a real plus. No chairs around the room looking at one another and the TV playing
to itself. Tarring Manor is just a wonderful home from home, the staff are amazing, helpful, kind and very hard-working, lovely people. I can't think of anything that could be better. Very happy to let my sister live here. Thank you.
