My father has been a resident at Castleview for 2 years now and the care that he receives is still exceptionally amazing but as his condition deteriorates the staff work harder to find ways to keep him connected and interested in the activities that are on offer. Sam the manager is very approachable and always open to suggestions from relatives regarding their loved ones care. There is one lady that works so hard behind the scenes and she is never mentioned but she is the first point of contact...you may call her Helen but I call her Wonder Woman.

Overall Experience
Benson House is in a lovely location that feels really safe. The rooms are generous and the garden is beautiful and tranquil.
There are lots of activities the residents can enjoy or they can rest in their rooms and be well looked after.

I feel that my mother is safe and well cared for there and she has a good social aspect, with friendly staff and other residents.

Isobel has been at the care home for little over four years now and still enjoys staying there. The care staff are excellent and treat her well. Her room is kept clean and the food is very good and a large variety to suit most tastes. There are a number of activities that Isobel likes to take part in mostly involving music & crafts. She also likes the New Gardening Club. The lady on reception makes everyone feel welcome and is a delight to chat with

My 3 sisters and I visited my Aunt. We were greeted by very friendly staff and escorted to her room. When my Aunt grew tired and needed a break we were shown to the refreshment station. Complimentary coffees, pastries etc were provided which we enjoyed on the patio overlooking the garden. It is difficult to comment in detail as I have only visited once. However, the staff seemed caring and professional. The home itself was a tranquil environment.

Overall Experience
We had our relatives stay for a respite stay post hospitalization of Larry. It was unfortunate that The Orchard were not able to accommodate them as a couple in a double room. We has the initial 2-weeks but had to keep extending it on a weekly basis as Larry was not recovering as quickly as we thought. Natalie was very helpful in managing the options for two people in two rooms while we found nursing care nearer to us.
The nursing staff were very good in managing Larry's recovery as well as dealing with his wife who herself had short-term memory issues.

Whilst I appreciate they were only there for respite and nursing care the rooms were a little spartan but adequate I guess.

I found the environment to be pleasant and the activities for the residents engaging and well thought out. A lot of effort was made to give the residents and pleasant and happy place to live.

Overall Experience

My mum has been staying at BH for nine months now, and I could not be happier. Crucially my mum feels the same. All of the staff are kind, patient, and attentive and also fun. Many of them have also worked here for a long time, so the continuity is very beneficial. The atmosphere is calm and nurturing. Residents have a number of areas they may go to so they can be sociable or enjoy some quiet. With heartfelt thanks.

Overall Experience
My mum has been living in Parris Lawn for four weeks, following a series of falls, and her realisation that she can no longer cope at home. The nursing and care staff are all wonderfully kind, responding to mum's needs, and encouraging her to engage in the daily activities when she has the energy to do so. They also respond positively to any questions or suggestions we have as a family. The facilities are excellent - we enjoy sitting in the sunny courtyard when we visit, and sometimes have lunch together in the lounge room. It's not easy moving from home to aged care, and there is always a period of adjustment, but I am confident my mum will be happy in her new home going forward.

I am husband + principal carer for my wife, former nurse, who recently was cared for at Tarring Manor for just over one week whilst I recovered from a Hernia operation. Prior to my wife staying at Tarring Manor, I was shown round the Home by the most helpful customer relationship manager. I was very favourably impressed by the beautifully designed interior of the Home and all its excellent facilities. In addition the spacious and attractive gardens are a great asset for the residents. During my wife's stay she was treated with kindness and respect. It was clear that my wife had enjoyed the meals provided for her. I would have no hesitation in arranging another stay for her should the need arise.

The summer party with Blackpool coming to Broadbridge Park was a great success. The music and entertainments really reflected a seaside holiday with the staff working hard to include everyone. Excellent fish and chips to end it well much enjoyed

Overall Experience
My wife was resident since 2022, she had advanced dementia. The care she received was second to none. She was treated with dignity, respect, care and love.
The staff were superb and went the extra mile as normal

She could not have been in better hands

Overall Experience

Resident was received with great dignity and needs considered. They had a clean, bright room with large windows to view Woodlands and wildlife. Room was very clean & bright and had all basic needs to help them settle in after being in Hospital, after that rehabilation centre and All staff were very welcoming to both resident and family members. We all very quickly felt part of Whittington House family.
