All Mellish House staff go above and beyond without exception to ensure a happy, warm, clean and inviting environment with many stimulating activities

Our family all agree that Hawkhill House Nursing Home is an outstanding care provider. Our mother is so happy, settled and grateful for the kindness and care that she receives there. The staff are all so welcoming to us at each visit and in many ways, we feel like we're visiting mam in her home, but
with the added bonus of being incredibly well supported alongside having the invaluable company of the other Hawkhill House residents. Great care and attention is paid to ensuring the residents have many inclusive activities to engage with and their wishes and autonomy is the top priority. The catering team are exceptional and the standard of choice and quality is second to none. We're so grateful for all that Hawkhill House offer.

Our mum was in The Manor care home for the last year and a half of her life, and was very happy there. We spent a lot of time trying to find a care home that we felt would work for her and we were delighted that The Manor worked perfectly. This was largely down to the truly amazing staff who were professional,
compassionate and patient, going the extra mile to make sure our mum was well cared for. Thank you all so much!
Reply from Akbar Mir, Home Manager at The ManorThank you for your kind words and recognition of the team at The Manor. We are sorry for your loss, and we are pleased that your mother received the care that met your standards while she was staying with us. Your comments will be passed on to the team.

Benson House

Our uncle only had 3 months in Benson House. As a family we were impressed with everyones friendliness and professionalism. He required some specialist care to keep him comfortable. This was achieved. He shared jokes with the nursing staff and was never in pain. The staff are thoughtful and compassionate
we have been happy that he was able to pass his last 3 months in such a good place. He never left his room and had difficulty with his appetite hence the satisfactory ratings below. Thank you for looking after our uncle.

The Orchard Nursing Home

The Orchard is a wonderful, caring, organised nursing home staffed by well trained, cheerful staff. Mum was welcomed not only by nurses, carers, management but also by other residents. The staff have cheerfully negotiated the challenges of helping her settle after living her own home for so many years.
They help and encourage her to enjoy the many social aspects of the home and her standard of care is excellent.
