The onboarding process was very easy and the home made a big effort to make Mum comfortable. At Christmas we had lunch with the residents and the staff, especially the chef, had made a big effort.
Since Mum went in the nursing staff have assisted with her medication, hearing, dementia diagnosis and
hearing issues.
The staff all smile, know the residents and treat them in a friendly manner.
On arrival to visit you are always greeted with a smiley face

Would like to Thank All the Staff at Horsell Lodge for looking after Mum these past (almost 4years).
Mum loved the caring atmosphere the staff brought to the 'Every Day events' and know how much she loved the Scrabble and Art group sessions.
Although Mum had mobility issues, she was always included
in the 'Sparkle Activities' Especially the Afternoon Tea and Summer BBQ, which she made sure I attended.
Again thanks for all the care she received, especially in her last few months.

many kind, caring, and professional staff who ensure that all Dad's needs are met. I am deeply grateful to each and every one of them. Thank you.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Sanford House Nursing Home exeeds expectations; every member of staff goes above and beyond to deliver person-centred care; it feels like a real home from home. The care delivered is exceptional - I know with absolute certainty that my family member is being looked after with the utmost care. I am kept
up to date with all developments and involved as much as I want to be in my loved ones care, but I know for certain that even when things are busy in my life, I am too unwell to attend the team at Sanford House are still delivering outstanding care. The home is spotless, secure and safe. In summary, Sanford House inadvertently changed my perception of nursing homes - I would not want to be admitted anywhere else because the team are truly the utmost credit to the health and social care sector.

Guysfield is a lovely friendly caring home with a real family feel.
All staff are well trained and residents are treated with care and dignity.
All rooms including day rooms are kept spotlessly clean. The chef is excellent and produces lovely nutritious meals which change daily and residents with
any special dietry requirements are also well catered for. Team leaders are always available to chat and discuss any changes in care plans.

The obvious advantage is the quality of the staff really outsstanding.I live some considerable distance from my sister but communication is good and effective. They are quick to spot issues
and quick to help.It is very important because of distance for my sister to be in a place she is cared for and supported.Five stars for the Manor!

I have always found Guysfield to be warm and welcoming, the staff friendly and helpful, giving much-needed care and support of mum as she journeys through her dementia. She is always encouraged at difficult times, and the staff providing support and love.

We have visited Brooklyn House on 4 occasions to visit a family friend. Each time we have been made to feel most welcome along with our dog! The manager is lovely and all staff are friendly and very respectful of the residents. Our friend is very happy at BH. I have visited several care homes both in
a professional and personal role and BH is definitely by far the best. It has a lovely atmosphere the minute you walk in the front door and staff and residents appear happy & relaxed.

Guysfield has always been excellent with mum's care. Lots of activities for mum to take part in, and the staff are always caring. It is so comforting to know mum is safe and so happy in her home.

This was my wife's first Christmas and the New Year at Guysfield. The attention of the staff to the residents was fantastic. We had a lovely Christmas dinner and a lovely Boxing Day. The care they show even the little things, hair, nails and entertainment is fantastic.

My mum became a resident at "The Orchard" Camp Rd St Albans in July 25. She was very happy there from day 1. She made lots of friends and joined into all the activities. My mum died Tuesday 13th Jan while being cared for by the staff at Orchard. They couldn't have done a better job or been more professional.
My mum refused to go back to hospital because she wanted to continue her stay in the home familiar surroundings, in her own room, with friends.

We have been very impressed with all aspects of the Orchard Care Home. All the staff are very friendly, helpful and kind. There is a friendly feel as soon as you walk in the door and meet the reception staff. My mother in law was made as comfortable as possible in the last five months of her life and
was able to make friendship with staff and residents. The end of life care that she received was wonderful. We felt she has been cared for as a family member and and the nurses, carers and the manager were fully supportive of us at the end. Thank you.

Castle View Care Home has been taking care of Dad for the last few years. My sister and I don't live on the island and the care of Dad seems particularly important as we can't always be there. We are always greeted with a smile, a warm hello and even a hug from the wonderful staff at Castle View. They
all go the extra mile and look after Dad as if he is family to them. We couldn't be happier and are very reassured with Dads care.

This is our first Christmas with my mother in law at Castle View. It has become a second home for us. Nothing is too much trouble. All staff are kind, professional, attentive and welcoming, they always encourage us to make ourselves at home and nothing is too much trouble. The activities co-ordinators
are astounding. they are inventive, kind, hard working and warm and bring warmth and delight to all the residents and their families. The home and rooms are clean, tidy and organised. We would recommend Castle View to all our friends. They are fabulous.
