The facilities are very good. The building is under 10 years old and is well maintained, and the communal lounge and garden areas provide welcome alternative space to resident rooms. Mum is a keen user of both.

Mum has been at Parris Lawn for 3 months. Due to her dementia she found the move very difficult but the staff have been unfailingly kind and understanding and have helped her settle in. She feels safe and I can see how she is now relating to the staff and appreciating their care. I have found everyone, in all roles, so welcoming and supportive. The home is a very pleasant environment and has all the facilities mum might need as her needs progress. The programme of activities is great and mum is always encouraged to join in, even though she mostly refuses. But none of this is as important as the love that the staff show the residents - thank you to each of you.

There have been some lovely events that has brought residents, their families and the community together and a lot of effort is put in to providing opportunities on a daily basis for residents to join if they would like to . Staff also take time to get to know the residents as individuals . All in all it has been a very positive experience.
