It's early days yet but the signs are very good and she is now beginning to regard Parris Lawn, as her permanent home.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are so pleased to read your positive comments about your godmother's care at Parris Lawn and it is lovely to hear the transition is going smoothly and she feels comfortable despite not being in favour of the move. Your feedback will be passed on to the team who will be delighted with your 5* review.
Parris Lawn provided exceptional end-of-life care for my darling mum. The kindness and professionalism of their staff made an extremely difficult time for our family more bearable. We will always be grateful that she spent her final days in an environment where she was treated with such dignity and compassion.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and for your words of kindness and recognition of the team at Parris Lawn Care Home. The care and services we deliver as a team to our residents and families are extremely important to us and it's lovely to read your comments reflect this. We are sorry for your loss. Your feedback will be shared with the team.
My mother can't fault the care of the staff at Parris Lawn and everyone can't do enough to assist you with absolute kindness. On the day of arrival, we both received a large embrace from one of the managers to welcome us back.
Mum enjoyed a daily shower and a hair wash as she needed, at least twice a week. Clothes left in the shower room are whisked away to be washed, dried and ironed. Plenty of clean towels and flannels too in the shower room.
The food is also of good quality and my mother enjoyed having the choice of eating her meals in her room or in one of the two eating venues provided.
A very happy experience for my mother whilst I was away enjoying my travels this time in Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, Jill. We are so pleased that your mother was happy to return and stay with us for a 2-week stay, and it's great to hear we've met your expectations as a care home. Your feedback will be passed on to the team who will be delighted with your 5* review, and we hope to see you again!
My mother is extremely well cared for. Staff checking she’s well and comfortable on a regular basis. There are plenty of opportunities to integrate with other residents. We are so pleased that we selected Parris Lawn as our mother’s home.

When Mum was to be discharged from hospital she wasn’t ready or fit enough to go home, but the team at Parris Lawn (PL) dropped everything to get a respite room ready at just 2 days notice. PL is a recently built facility, which looks and feels like a cross between a hotel and a posh block of flats. The rooms at PL are spacious, clean, well decorated and all have decent views. The spacious en-suite shower rooms are also excellent. The staff are all completely marvellous and attentive; and dealt with all of Mum’s drugs etc. PL put on am and pm activities (bingo, crafts, coffee mornings etc) and will go out of their way to get chatty people together. It was such a relief to have Mum so well looked after and given the time to recover. She’s now back home where she should be, but we’re all very happy to know that we have PL to fall back on again should the need arise. We can’t thank everyone at PL enough, and I wish I could praise/mention individuals in this review!
Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a fantastic review, David. We are so pleased to read your positive comments about our home and your mum's care at Parris Lawn, and it is lovely to hear the activities the team organise have been well received. Your feedback will be passed on to the team who will be delighted with your review.
My mum’s been at Parris Lawn for a year and a half now and is very well cared for. She has Alzheimer’s and the staff very quickly understood her needs and helped her to feel very settled. Whenever I visit everyone stops to chat to her; the staff are very professional and always cheerful. And the whole place is always incredibly clean! Because of the Alzheimer’s my mum isn’t really sure where she is, and often still thinks she’s living at home, which I think gives an indication of just how comfortable and happy she feels at PL.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are so pleased to read your positive comments about your mum's care at Parris Lawn and it is lovely to hear she's as comfortable with us as she would be if she was at home. Your feedback will be passed on to the team who will be delighted with your review.

Having visited two nursing homes with my son in search of a nursing home for my husband, we walked into Parris Lawn, a smart and comfortable reception area and a warm welcome. After coffee and a chat, we were shown around the premises. Clean, comfortable rooms, all en-suite, smart furnishings and TV. There is a communal lounge again comfortable and with a TV. Smart dining room and a choice of menus. The residents are all treated with respect and dignity and the patience needed to care for everyone regardless of their health problems. All of the staff are friendly and willing to help residents and visitors alike. Parris Lawn lives up to its five-star rating. My husband is now settled and content.

My husband came for 2 weeks of repsite care and Dad did not want to stay, but after a couple of days said he was staying. All the staff are so friendly to him, he feels safe and at home and loved. You are all so wonderful in your jobs and we get a very warm welcome when we arrive to see my husband. Thank you to all of you.

When she entered the home, she had taken a fall and was extremely frail and somewhat undernourished but the care she has and continues to receive has reversed much of this and she is now calm, content and, most importantly, safe!
Our heartfelt thanks to one and all.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, and for your kind comments regarding the home and team here at Parris Lawn. We are pleased to hear that your mum is receiving the care she deserves and that she’s feeling safe within the home. My father has been a resident at Parris Lawn since mid February 2023 and is very settled and happy. He is a non-dementia resident. He made the move to Parris Lawn Ringmer from Dorset, so emotionally it was a big change for both him and our wider family. From the initial organisation of the move, to settling him in and subsequent care, the staff at Parris Lawn have been attentive and kind. It happened that his first full day at Parris Lawn was his birthday with Parris Lawn staff making that a great first day with kind considerate touches, a present, card and cake. Regular staff at the care home have certainly got to know my father well and as a family, we are very relieved that he is now settled and safe. The Parris Lawn management staff have gone out of their way to reassure us and in particular support with the varying care system paperwork and associated funding applications. Without this professional guidance, I would have found all the ‘red tape’ extremely overwhelming. I am very pleased that my father is now living at Parris Lawn.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are so pleased to read your positive comments about your father’s care at Parris Lawn, right from his arrival on his birthday to him now being settled and feeling safe. I’m glad that the team have also been able to help you feel comfortable...

Very caring approach. Both my parents moved to Parris Lawn in November 2022. They have been made to feel very welcome, as have I. My dad has recently had ten days in hospital. My mum and I are particularly grateful for the attention they have given her during this period.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review Mark, we are so pleased to read your positive comments about the care your parents are receiving and the recognition of the team at Parris Lawn. Your feedback has been passed on to the team.
I cannot comment on food and drink as I am never present for meals however, the impression I have is of a varied, wholesome menu. I like to think I have an excellent relationship with all staff that I come into contact with, indeed see them as friends who I know I can discuss any problems with.
There is an excellent activities schedule that my friend is always involved in and there is utmost respect for the care of the resident.
Overall I am very pleased my friend has Parris Lawn as her home.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a lovely review, Vic. We are so pleased to read your positive comments and high star ratings about the care your friend is receiving and the recognition of the team at Parris Lawn. Your feedback has been passed on to the team.
Without fail, all the staff are kind and considerate to both my husband and all the visitors he has, and they are particularly kind to me. My husband enjoys the food, which is presented in a nice way to encourage eating. Parris Lawn is always very clean and welcoming.

The facilities and the staff are excellent. All the staff are kind, helpful and caring. The rooms are kept spotless. I have no worries as I am sure my husband is getting the best care.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review Janet and for your kind words and recognition of the team at Parris Lawn.
