Overall Experience

We honestly cannot imagine a better place for Mum to have spent her final 6 weeks of her life. Her time at Broadbridge Park was immeasurably better than an end-of-life stay in hospital would have been, and gave her a level of safety, companionship and care that would have been very difficult to achieve at home. Just as importantly, it gave us the freedom to be her children again, knowing that her day-to-day care was in such good hands.
We will never forget the kindness and compassion of all the staff who consistently went above and beyond, not only in caring for Mum but also in taking the time to listen to us, reassure us and make sure we felt supported.
Plus the warm welcome given to Mum's many visitors, inc friends, neighbours and relatives from abroad. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble.

Above all, we felt part of the Broadbridge Park family throughout Mum's stay. It was always a pleasure to come in each day and see all staff going about their work with such care and dedication.

Overall Experience

The smiles of delight on residents faces during todays dog show were a pleasure to see. This well organised event saw dogs of all sizes strutting their stuff. Thanks to all the staff who took part in organising and running yet another marvelous event. Glad to be able to support Broadbridge Park. Next year can we have a category for loudest bark or noisiest dog please!

Overall Experience

My 3 sisters and I visited my Aunt. We were greeted by very friendly staff and escorted to her room. When my Aunt grew tired and needed a break we were shown to the refreshment station. Complimentary coffees, pastries etc were provided which we enjoyed on the patio overlooking the garden. It is difficult to comment in detail as I have only visited once. However, the staff seemed caring and professional. The home itself was a tranquil environment.

We came for afternoon tea with our extended family yesterday . Delicious sandwiches and Tea & coffee was provided by the home . We had our own room where the table was laid out .
The staff were very friendly and accommodating to our needs .
It really was a delightful afternoon and i can see that my auntie is very happy there. The accommodation really is first class

Overall Experience

I am husband + principal carer for my wife, former nurse, who recently was cared for at Tarring Manor for just over one week whilst I recovered from a Hernia operation. Prior to my wife staying at Tarring Manor, I was shown round the Home by the most helpful customer relationship manager. I was very favourably impressed by the beautifully designed interior of the Home and all its excellent facilities. In addition the spacious and attractive gardens are a great asset for the residents. During my wife's stay she was treated with kindness and respect. It was clear that my wife had enjoyed the meals provided for her. I would have no hesitation in arranging another stay for her should the need arise.

Overall Experience

My mother has stayed twice now for respite care. The staff and residents have made her very welcome. It provides a very safe and comfortable environment with plenty of activities and oportunities to interact with people.

It is a very comfortable and well laid out building, with beautiful gardens for everyone to enjoy. The care is excellent and has allowed us to relax knowing Mum is safe and well looked after.

We have just experienced a truly wonderful 100th birthday for my uncle - EVERYTHING about it was so good - the welcome when we arrived (too early!) the decorations, the food delicious and the birthday cake AMAZING!

My sister is well cared for in excellent facilities but she craves home cooking, just basic old fashioned food which they all ask for in regular resident meetings! They ask for more fresh vegetables and fresh fruit this should be easily sorted by management as it is essential for their health and wellbeing. At this stage of life sitting to eat a good meal and chatting around the table is one of life's luxuries. We notice that they have a beautiful water feature in the garden enjoyed by birds but because the crows had made a mess in it, which crows do! they switched it off! Why? it would be a simple job for maintenance to quickly clean it rather than take away the enjoyment of the residents just watching the birds frolic especially when we have had such hot weather.

Overall Experience

I have held off writing a review on this care home as our knowledge of such places was limited. Seriously though think very carefully before placing a loved one here. The building is wonderful and the location great but sadly any nursing care is sadly doubtful. After hospitalization we chose not to return our family member here and he is now in a proper nursing home where care of the patient is a priority and the food is wonderful. Sadly Tarring Manor is focused too strongly on the business element and food and care provided suffered from cost cutting.

Overall Experience

Overall experience was excellent.
Constructive comment:
Please could activities schedule be available on the Sunday before the week's activities, not on the Monday, the start date of the activities - it will give residents and relatives a chance to plan their visiting, plus feel more prepared for their activity.
Training courses for staff to improve communication when changing shifts, so next shift of staff know any updates in care.

Housekeeping staff seemed to rarely smile - looked miserable some days - do they now enjoy their work! Other staff smiled.

Overall Experience

I was welcomed when I came in, as though I was a member of a family, and the welcome still continues. I have witnessed (rarely) family members being rude and unpleasant to the staff who totally ignored the insult, just carrying on as though they hadn't heard anything unpleasant and resumed their duties with a smile. They (the staff) are AMAZING, being calm and helpful and friendly at all times - the managers certainly know how to choose staff! The catering is very good, especially as I am a vegetarian.
