Overall Experience

My frail elderly mother was admitted to SH following respite care in hospital for continued palliative care and was welcomed warmly, all her care needs assessed and high standard of nursing care given. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff - from making cups of tea for visitors to responding with

kindness and warmth when she pressed her call bell.
Manager Maebh and her team of staff were faultless in providing a 'home from home' experience that gave warmth, comfort and delicious food in Mum's final few months of life, for which I will always be grateful. Mum passed away peacefully with dignity, and can't thank them enough for their kindness and emotional and practical support given to me and my siblings. 10 out of 5 stars!!

Overall Experience

Sanford House Nursing Home exeeds expectations; every member of staff goes above and beyond to deliver person-centred care; it feels like a real home from home. The care delivered is exceptional - I know with absolute certainty that my family member is being looked after with the utmost care. I am kept

up to date with all developments and involved as much as I want to be in my loved ones care, but I know for certain that even when things are busy in my life, I am too unwell to attend the team at Sanford House are still delivering outstanding care. The home is spotless, secure and safe. In summary, Sanford House inadvertently changed my perception of nursing homes - I would not want to be admitted anywhere else because the team are truly the utmost credit to the health and social care sector.

Overall Experience

We have visited Brooklyn House on 4 occasions to visit a family friend. Each time we have been made to feel most welcome along with our dog! The manager is lovely and all staff are friendly and very respectful of the residents. Our friend is very happy at BH. I have visited several care homes both in

a professional and personal role and BH is definitely by far the best. It has a lovely atmosphere the minute you walk in the front door and staff and residents appear happy & relaxed.

Brooklyn House is a lovely Home.
My cousin has been very happy there. She moved there in 2023 with her husband, who has since passed away.

Overall Experience

I lost my dear husband in October he was nursed with great care and dignity exemplary kindness, with all the care and more that he would have had anywhere else. The manager and all staff were very understanding and kind to me. I cannot praise them highly enough for everything. This is an amazing home

in all ways. I truly thank them for such great care and kindness.

Overall Experience

Very happy with the care mum is receiving at Stanford House. Every member of staff goes the extra mile to ensure mum is cared for. They also make sure I am informed and coping with mum's inconsistent behaviour. They make sure mum is safe and comfortable.

Overall Experience

A very big thank you to all of the staff at Brooklyn House. My mother has recently arrived following her discharge from hospital. Without exception all of the staff have been brilliant. Nothing has been too much trouble. They have made every effort to get her involved in numerous group and one to one

activities. Any medical issues that could not be dealt with by the in-house nursing staff have been dealt with quickly by the local GP. The two managerial staff have always been accessible and accommodating in all aspects of my mother's care. As a family we are not able to thank the team enough.

During the time my father has stayed here, he has been very well looked after. The staff are kind and helpful as well as very efficient Dad is very well groomed, happy, and enjoys his meals. He is encouraged to spend most days in the communal area, where he chats with other residents, watches TV and

loves joining in with activities. The home is very well managed and fully deserves the rating it has. Would highly reccomend

Overall Experience

I am 91 years of age & I have been a resident at Brooklyn nursing home since April 2025 & I'm delighted with the excellent care & attention I've received during that time. All the staff & carers I've come into contact with have been obliging of any requests or questions I might ask of them & sorted

as soon as possible.
The atmosphere here is of a very happy & welcoming place and the care I observe around me of less able residents is excellent

Overall Experience

Very happy with the service the care home provides. Care and nursing staff are at hand if and when they are needed, they are kind, caring very approachable and understanding always willing to help. Good balanced meals for my Father in-law to choose from. Always some sort of entertainment or craft sessions

that he's encouraged to take part in. His room is kept very clean and tidy, as is the rest of the home. Im kept well informed of any matter that arise.

Overall Experience

The home provides a good level of care. All staff are friendly and welcoming. There is a good range of activities for the residents and meals are well prepared and of a good variety.

Overall Experience

My mother has 9 only been a resident for 2 weeks but so far both of us have been impressed, she has settled very well and and we are both happy.
Importantly, I visited the home a vew times before committing and I am happy that everything has been as presented during the visits.
