Carla is a registered nurse who started her career in the NHS and thus has experience in Cardiology, Intensive Care and Accident and Emergency nursing.
She left the NHS to join the private sector, exploring forensic nursing and other independent care providers, including a large independent hospital.
Carla clearly communicates that her passion to provide high standards of quality care is always at the forefront of her role.
She is an experienced Registered Manager and has developed good relationships with CQC inspectors, Safeguarding Teams and Local Authorities, and prides herself on developing an open and transparent culture within her team. Carla evidences her excellent leadership and management skills in her experience in turning around several CQC-rated inadequate services to good.

Julie is a local resident, born and educated in Torquay and completed her nurse training at Torbay Hospital. Her career has taken various paths, predominantly supporting the most vulnerable in society and the older population.
Julie has been a Clinical Development Nurse for another large private care home provider and is a qualified nurse prescriber. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, and we are so pleased to have her on our team.

Pictured on the left is Pete, our highly skilled Head Chef. With extensive experience in leading kitchens and a strong background in nutrition, Pete brings exceptional expertise to our culinary team and is an invaluable asset to Claremont Manor.
On the right is Wren, the newest addition to our kitchen team. An accomplished chef in his own right, Wren brings a wealth of industry experience and talent, further strengthening our kitchen’s capabilities.
Pictured on the left is Josh, one of our talented chefs. A firm favourite among our residents, Josh is often spotted delivering extra treats and sharing lively stories from his days as a fisherman. His dedication, warm personality, and commitment to delighting residents make him a valued member of our team.
Alongside him is Jay, one of our hardworking Kitchen Assistants. From preparation to presentation, Jay’s efforts behind the scenes ensure that every meal is delivered with consistency, efficiency, and pride. His reliability and attention to detail play an essential role in the smooth running of our kitchen.
Our lovely Lottie is a firm favourite amongst the residents in our home.
She is a huge asset, she takes the time to get to know every resident, what their likes and dislikes are, and always strives to fulfil their requests!
With her bubbly personality and empathetic nature, we couldn't wish for a better person to be entertaining our residents. She creates a lifestyle program full of meaningful activities, linking in with community groups too.
Shauna started her Claremont journey as a receptionist and is now our business administrator.
She can assist you with any payment queries, contracts, invoices and much more.
The lovely Vikki is here to greet you at reception with a smile.
She will do her best to assist you in any way she can.
Vikki joins our reception team with a wealth of experience, including customer service and care work. She was previously a much-loved Healthcare Assistant here in the home, before moving across to join the admin team.
The lovely Ginny will always welcome you with a warm smile and a listening ear.
Ginny has worked in many healthcare settings with plenty of experience in customer service and front-of-house. We are lucky to have her on board!
The lovely Leigh is always on hand, ensuring our building is safe and sound. He also provides fire safety training to our team.
He ensures our residents have everything they need, from phone lines to hanging pictures on the wall.
