Cannot recommend The Bridge highly enough. Since Nan has been a resident she has been so well looked after and most importantly is so happy. The Bridge is spotless, it has amazing facilities, beautifully presented and a fantastic team that genuinely cares for the residents. The team have been focusing
on improving Nan's mobility and have her in the gym most days, which is making a big difference. There is a Salon and a Nail Bar and a beautiful outdoor area that they really make the most of. The residents go out on day trips and it gives us huge peace of mind knowing how well she is being looked after.

Excellent care home with outstanding facilities, friendly staff. Various options for patients that I have not seen offered elsewhere. Excellent rooms plus en-suite and various other rooms for the patients to socialise.

What a wonderful care home! We were welcomed by the biggest smiles and friendliest members of staff who made us feel at ease immediately. There is a laid-back feel that runs throughout the care home, the decor is beautiful and modern, more of a 5-star hotel feel giving those 'holiday vibes'. The staff
are extremely attentive and everything runs like a well-oiled machine. There is no doubt that the care is 100%, we are more than confident that our loved ones are being looked after and their needs are being met each and every day whilst feeling relaxed and happy in the most beautiful environment.
Reply from Demi Fuller, Manager at The Bridge Care HomeWe are over the moon with your review, thank you so much. I will share with the team, we are so pleased that our ethos shines through.

From the moment I walked through the doors I was treated with friendly smiles and a good aura, to help staff were very helpful and considerate, the care home was clean, tidy and well-organised. The staff in the reception and the bar were amazing and attentive as well as the staff taking care of my aunt,
they have very quickly adapted to my aunt's needs and habits and have made me feel a lot happier with how they care for her and encourage her. Best care home I could have asked for, for my aunt.

The Bridge is such a lovely warm environment with really kind and caring staff, every time you go there you are made to feel so welcome and the care my aunt is getting is fantastic, she has settled so well and has made some lovely friends, there is always something for her to do, and she always looks
so nice ie having her hair down and her manicures, I would recommend this home to anyone.

The staff and facilities are faultless. Nothing is an inconvenience. My great aunt has never been so well looked after. She has been to the national portrait gallery, garden centres, and bowling, she has a better social life than me now! Thank you for everyone's hard work, it is noticed by the families
who are more grateful than they can put into words. The afternoon tea was particularly well run and very entertaining for everyone.
Thank you.

My dad is in respite there and enjoying it. They have a messaging platform in which they share pictures with you (amazing). All the staff are really friendly, helpful and the home is very clean. We as a family had something to eat there and the food was lovely and outstanding. Feel at ease that my dad
is being looked after really well.

New, modern, and just beautiful. Spacious rooms, home from home. Really lovely friendly staff, everyone always comes and says hello. Fantastic facilities, gym, art room, cinema room, fitness therapy. Lovely outdoor space where residents can help to look after the gardens. Many trips out for the residents,
to the shops, out to garden centres, even a bit of clothes shopping. Every time I see my dad he looks so well and happy. Thank you.

I’m so glad we found the Bridge Care Home and my dad was the very first resident there. He had been in hospital for around 7 weeks and while he was there we looked at a few care homes but the Bridge stood out, they went to see him in the hospital (no other care home did ) and made all the arrangements
to collect him and had everything ready for him to move into his new room.
The staff are all so friendly, and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The home is immaculately decorated and furnished and very well thought out on all levels. All family and friends are welcome to visit dad anytime they wish there’s no need to ring and no set times. Regular activities every day and trips arranged. We as a family can relax knowing that dad is very happy and content.

We are blown away with this care home It is truly amazing and I went to view a lot in the local area. Dad has only been there a few days and already we can all notice a difference in him, everything has been thought of and more. Whenever we have gone in, Dad is occupied and more importantly, smiling.
All the staff are truly amazing and actually care. Dad couldn't be in safer or better hands - my thanks to all the staff.

Current Review Score: 10.0 (9.956)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 10 (9.956) out of 10 for The Bridge Care Home is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 74 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 74 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.956 for The Bridge Care Home is calculated as follows: ( (829 Excellents x 5) + (33 Goods x 4) + (1 Satisfactorys x 3) + (1 Poors x 2) ) ÷ 864 Ratings = 4.956
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for The Bridge Care Home is based on 74 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 71 registered maximum number of service users is 14.2, which has been reached with 74 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
