I think the staff are amazing. They go out of their way to help. My aunt is very happy and well looked after. Every time we come to see my aunt we are treated as part of the family. There are so many things my aunt can do (arts and crafts). They also take them on outings.

Very impressed with all the staff at the home in their varied duties from management to cleaning staff. The home is well organised, clean and clearly signposted to the various facilities and rooms. Have eaten there twice and food/service have been excellent. All the staff are considerate, caring and informative.

Review from J W (Cousin of Resident) published on 24 January 2025 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

My cousin moved in at very very short notice. My cousin was made welcome. Moving happened quicker than we thought. It was not a problem for the staff, everything was sorted with no problems. The staff are excellent and the care has been amazing. They have helped my cousin settle in. The rooms are lovely. The residents are great, they all get on well. Their families take notice of the residents and talk to them. So your loved ones are not left with no one to talk to. It's so friendly, the carers are brilliant with the residents. We were so lucky to find this home. I now have my sister and cousin both in there and happy. Thank you to everyone.

I came for a fine dining experience, the deputy manager met us on arrival, she was very nice, and the bar manager and waitress could not do enough for us. The food was amazing.

The team at The Bridge has shown my mother great compassion. Their experience with dementia sufferers has been crucial to improving her wellbeing. We feel relief that she is safe and being cared for by such an excellent team - from the managers to the carers to the staff in the bistro, on reception and behind the scenes. Communication with family is always forthcoming. The activities offered are wonderful. The Bridge team truly understands community.

The Bridge Care Home has been the perfect place for my nan over the past few months. Every member of staff is so lovely and caring and nothing is ever too much. They have so much patience and their caring nature shines through in everything they do. I am amazed by the excellent customer service that is shown by the workers. The support and kindness they all offer makes each day brighter for the residents and for their families who visit. Not only has my nan been in The Bridge for the past few months, but also my mum has spent some repite time in there following a hip replacement. The incredible service and love and care they have both received during their stays is something we will always be thankful for as a family. So much gratitude for everything you have done. Special thank you to the deputy manager and home manager, who have been absolute stars to both my mum and my nan. Couldn't ask for anything more. Those girls have such loving natures. Thank you!

Hi everyone, just wanted to say how happy and satisfied to see my sister in such an environment of care and well-being. My sister is enjoying her time here so much and myself and the rest of the family share the same views. All your staff and management are very professional and caring. As a former manager and concierge in the public sector, I give you 10/10. Special thanks to two staff members in particular for their service at my sister's birthday meal.

Dad was really well looked after by the staff while he was there for respite. Immaculate, clean, comfortable and safe environment was like being on holiday. The friendly, caring staff went above and beyond to meet Dad's needs and make his stay both restful and enjoyable. There was a full range of fun and engaging activities provided appropriate to clients' needs, as well as services such as spa, gym, salon and bistro. I would highly recommend The Bridge Care Home to anyone looking for temporary or long-term care. Thank you so much for taking good care of Dad.

It has been the most wonderful experience and care that I could have ever imagined. The staff across the board have risen to all the challenges in order to provide the very best care to myself and all and each resident in what have been very difficult health situations. The care home has also provided all and every amenity to myself and all resident to find peace, enjoyment and security for their remaining years and lives. I think the home is amazing, the rooms are beautiful and the facilities are very good. I thought the cleanliness of it was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had lunch in the dining room, it was as good as any restaurant, was as good as any top place I have been. My sister was taken out more than she's been out for a long time.

Mum had a week's respite in The Bridge, wonderful home and staff, she was comfortable there and full of praise for every member of staff who worked there. Food was excellent, had lunch and coffee there several times, always made to feel so welcome. Great grandchildren even catered for when they visited Very modern being new more like a 5-star hotel. Would not hesitate for her to go back if need be. Lovely activities going on for the residents to join in with. Keep up the good work The Bridge, great team.
