Overall Experience

We decided to spend a fortnight's respite care in Colwall Care Home after I had a major operation & I have to say the whole experience exceeded our expectations. The care manager visited us at home beforehand to assess our needs, these were fully met. The building is beautifully designed & elegantly & luxuriously furnished. Big picture windows lighten the dining & lounge areas & the attractive activities rooms. We also noted with approval the salon & bar. The well-appointed spacious ensuite bedrooms are very comfortable and after coming out of hospital, I was reassured to have a nurse available 24/7. The food was excellent & nicely presented. However the most strikig thing was the wonderful staff who were unfailingly friendly, helpful & patient. The atmosphere was warm & I would not hesitate to stay again or make it my permanent home.
