I have worked in Health and Social Care for the last 13 years. I have worked in luxury care homes for the last 6 years. Supporting and enabling our residents to live life to the full is my top priority along with delivering person-centred care for both residents who require residential and residential dementia care.

I am truly honoured to be part of their journey, ensuring a smooth transition into our luxury environment at Stoneham Grove.

Hello, my name is Louise, I am the Administrator for Stoneham Grove.

I am proud to be part of a great team within our home. I joined Barchester in July ready for our home to open in December and am very excited to be part of a new build. I have worked in the private care sector for 12 years, working my way from Receptionist to admin Assistant and now Administrator.

I love my role as no two days are the same, I also get to communicate with the residents and their families. I am lucky that being the Administrator I get to liaise with all departments. I am friendly, approachable and love to learn new things.

I have three grown-up children and one grandson. I enjoy family time as well as walking, dining out and going on cruises.

Hello, my name is Luke. I am the Head of Maintenance at Stoneham Grove.

I have worked my way up from Maintenance Assistant to Maintenance Manager. I am proud to be part of Barchester, and looking forward to what the future holds.

I really enjoy working within the care sector and meeting new people. I always try my best at what I do and feel that I have made a difference to someone's day when I see them smiling. I’m a friendly person, and I like spending time with the residents when I can.

In my own time, I enjoy a spot of fishing at local fisheries and spending time with my wife on our holidays.

Hello, my name is Iuliana and I'm the Activities Lead here at Stoneham Grove.

I worked as a History Teacher for 12 years before joining Barchester in 2017.

I am passionate about my job and I love working with people. I enjoy planning and providing meaningful activities that make a difference in the lives of our residents, counting their hobbies and wishes.

In my free time, I enjoy travelling, dancing, quizzing and playing board games with my family and friends.

I am looking forward to using my skills and experience to enhance the lives of our wonderful residents.

My name is Steve, and I am the head chef at Stoneham Grove. I am a chef with 37 years' experience and a lifelong love for food.

Although this is my first time working in the care sector, I am really enjoying the role at Stoneham Grove and finding it very rewarding.

I am passionate about cooking and love creating dishes that are not only tasty and nutritious but also beautifully presented. I also enjoy baking, especially making cakes and bread, and I'm looking forward to sharing these with our Residents and families, also, to make mealtimes something to look forward to.

I have a wealth of administrative experience, previous roles have included working for large global companies and more recently working within a private ambulance company.

Hello, my name is Lesley, I have 18years experience in the care sector. I started in community care and working across the private sector and care homes. I progressed to Deputy Manager roles and most recently managed an independent living scheme for over 60’s, supporting older adults and individuals with disabilities.

At Stoneham Grove, I’m here to welcome new residents, offering a helping hand to ensure they feel supported and confident as they begin the next chapter of their lives.

Before becoming a care assistant I was a waitress in fine dining restaurants, winning an award at the Thames Hospitality Awards. I cared for my grandmother for over a year and this ignited my passion for care and the elderly.

I am currently studying health and social care at Newbury College and I am loving growing my knowledge. I am really looking forward to supporting our new residents, meeting their loved ones and working alongside this wonderful team in such a beautiful home.
