The staff are welcoming, friendly always going above and beyond with the care they give. My mam has been in other care homes for respite care did not come anywhere near the standards of Ruby Lodge. On my mams recent respite stay, she returned home happy and is always talking about the staff and residents she has met. So much so she is returning for another respite stay. Thanks to all the wonderful staff for making my mams stay so enjoyable.
Thank you for your feedback which we really value we look forward to welcoming your Mam back soon
Really good care. Excellent staff. Very good facilities. Always welcoming and friendly. Activities for residents are good.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for Ruby Lodge, we are very happy to hear that you are pleased with our care, facilities and activities.
The senior care staff have been liaising with the hospital and GP about his care needs and ongoing medication.
My uncle has decided he likes it at Ruby Lodge so much that he's decided to become a permanent resident which is great as it gives our family peace of mind that he will be safe and well looked after.
Thank you for your feedback, which we really value. We are delighted that your uncle has become a permanent resident, he is very much part of the Ruby Lodge community.
Ruby Lodge is a wonderful homely environment which we all loved from our initial visit.
My Uncle was made to feel very welcome, and we were so impressed with the facilities and the level of genuine care all the staff showed towards him. They supported his medical needs as well as respecting his shy nature and need to adjust to his new environs in his own time.
After a number of weeks my Uncle made the decision to become a permanent resident & part of the Ruby Lodge family.
He's really settled in, more than we ever thought he would, & this is a hugely positive reflection on the time, care, interest & dedication to improving his well being by the staff at there.
The staff are wonderful & so committed to caring for their residents & support their families.
We're so happy we found Ruby Lodge where our Uncle is happy, safe, cared for and able enjoy his life with dignity thanks to the great team there
Thank you for such lovely feedback which we will make sure all our teams are made aware of. We are very happy that your uncle has decided to become a permanent resident at Ruby Lodge, we love having him here.
considerate, thoughtful, competent and compassionate. Excellent management ensures the team share the same high standards of care which are outstanding on every level.
Having spent my career in health care I feel qualified to attribute these remarks to those extraordinary individuals who make Ruby Lodge an outstanding care home
Thank you so much for this review, it is our absolute pleasure.
Mum's medication requirements have altered whilst she has been a resident and the staff have been good at supporting these changes, ensuring mum receives the correct doses at the correct times.
Thank you so much for your review, we value your feedback. We are enjoying our time with your mum at Ruby Lodge and are encouraged by her progress.
Mum was taken in before Christmas for respite. The staff worked hard with Mum to get her settled. She has become a permanent resident. Mum needs 24hr care. As a family we could not have found a better place for her.
Thank you for your kind review of Ruby Lodge Care Home. We're so pleased to know that you're happy with the care we provide for your mum and that she is settled.
Mum had colon cancer and was very unwell for a couple of weeks. With the help of Ruby Lodge she has made a steady recovery over the last month and has regained her humour, her strength and her smile
The level of support and kindness has been beyond what we hoped to expect
A very beautifully finished Care Home gives an air of a 5 star hotel, not a place where people are recovering from all sorts of ailments
Top notch in every way
Thank you for your kind words. We're so glad to hear your mum is recovering well and feeling better. It's great to know that the care and support at Ruby Lodge have made a difference. We truly appreciate your feedback.
A catered 100th birthday meal for 17 people. Very well organised. Great service and lovely food, very impressed. Great value for money.
We are so pleased you enjoyed your time at Ruby Lodge. Thank you so much for your feedback.
Great care home, the staff are lovely and always goes above and beyond. The best staff and facilities I have come across in the many care homes I have visited for my dad and he has nothing but good things to say about Ruby Lodge.
Thank you so much for your review, we are so pleased that you are happy with the care being provided to your father.
All the staff have been friendly and caring, so much thought and effort goes into every aspect of her care. She has settled so quickly and is positively thriving! Ruby Lodge has given us back quality Mother and daughter time together - thank you!
Thank you so much for your review, we are really happy to hear that you are pleased with the care we are providing for your mum. It is lovely having her here, with us, she is an absolute delight.
Ruby Lodge has given my Father-in-law a new lease of life. The care and attention he has received is second to none. The facilities are 5-star, and he has settled in really quickly. He has made new friends and developed an active social life very quickly - everyone is so friendly. Recently, Ruby Lodge organised a 95th birthday lunch, which was just fabulous. Can't recommend this place enough - it's fabulous.
Thank you so much for your kind words, we love having him with us at Ruby Lodge and we are so pleased that you are happy with the care he is receiving.
We visited Ruby Lodge more than a few times, the staff are by far the most friendly, professional, and caring that I have come across. The building is gorgeous, the residents seem to be really happy and well taken care of. 10/10!
Thank you so much for taking the time to give us feedback. It is much appreciated.
Ruby Lodge Care Home is amazing. It could be confused with a 5hotel. The staff are so warm and friendly with nothing being too much trouble. Eight of us enjoyed my friend's Dad's 95th birthday lunch, and the food was delicious... particularly the fruit cheesecake! I honestly can't think of even one tiny negative, that's how impressed l am by this wonderful care home.
Thank you so much for your kind review, we are so pleased you enjoyed your time here.
I have visited many times and personally, I am very impressed with Ruby Place. The staff seem to go out of their way to provide entertainment and activities for the residents with a regularly supply of refreshments in between meals which are always served willingly. A lovely place and a lovely home.

Superb morning tea and a wonderful welcoming environment. The Victoria sponge cake at coffee morning was amazing, and the team were so attentive. Many thanks for a truly wonderful morning and a great start to 2025!
Thank you for your wonderful review. Much appreciated.
We have shared a really lovely, very tasty, lunch with our Mum and Grandma, a positive sitting in The Winning Post Pub, followed by a game of darts. High praise for the chef and the staff who so kindly set this experience up for us. We felt very much at home here. Thank you.
We are so pleased you enjoyed your meal and your time with your mum. Thank you very much for your review.
We had a lovely time for our family party for my aunties 100th birthday. We were catered for very well. Everyone enjoyed the food and the chef did a great job serving 17 of us.
