My grandad is absolutely thriving since moving into Ruby Lodge. The care he is receiving is impeccable, the team accommodate his schedule and encourages his independence and daily activities that make him feel like himself. They run amazing activities such as the Christmas fete that I attended which had a lovely atmosphere and was so nice for the residents and family to all take part in. I'm so happy with how my grandad has settled into the home and that is all down to the amazing staff at Ruby Lodge! Thank you so much for everything!
Thank you so much for your lovely review, we absolutely love having your grandad with us at Ruby Lodge.
The food was excellent and we particularly enjoyed our dessert.
We were all made to feel special - can highly recommend the experience for celebrating such occasions.
We are so pleased we chose Ruby Lodge for our mum. She looks really settled and happy and the staff are always so welcoming, friendly and helpful.
Thank you all for your hard work and dedication.
Thank you so much for sharing this with us, we are really pleased you enjoyed your experience.
It wasn't an easy decision to place Mum in residential care but even with care at home (including an attempt with live-in care) it was clear that her needs were not being met. We looked at a number of homes but an impromptu visit to Ruby Lodge, after a planned visit to a different home that shall remain unnamed, helped make the decision a bit easier. The team could not have been more welcoming and this has continued since Mum's admission. We are kept informed of any issues in a timely way and Mum herself says everyone is kind and caring. The home runs a varied activity programme involving the wider community. A fine dining experience is available for special occasions and, having experienced this for Mum's birthday, it was most enjoyable.
We are so pleased to hear that you are happy with your choice of Ruby Lodge. We love having your mum here with us, she is a delight.
Ruby Lodge is a new home and the facilities and food are fabulous. This is more like a 5* hotel than a care home and it is a joy to live in and to visit.
Every effort was made from the outset to enable Dad's move to be as smooth as possible and that attention and care have continued beyond to make Dad comfortable and to ensure that his every need is catered for - we couldn't ask for more and can't recommend environment, management, staff or the level of care and attention enough - dad feels very lucky to be living there and knowing he is so well looked after is very reassuring.
We are so pleased to hear that you are happy with your fathers move, he has been a wonderful addition to our family at Ruby Lodge. From the whole team!
In difficult and emotional circumstances I have been dealt with with kindness, understanding, and professionalism at all times. My husband has been in here for respite and he was happy and comfortable throughout. The staff have made the whole thing easier to deal with.
Thank you so much for your kind review, sending much love and best wishes from the whole team at Ruby Lodge.
We are very pleased with how well my Mum has settled after only four weeks. The staff (some of whom are already known to her) have been so welcoming. The atmosphere at Ruby Lodge is upbeat, happy, fun, and all-inclusive. We are pleased with how the scope of activities has developed so quickly (the home has only been open for a couple of months). We also appreciated the level of engagement with the managers when we had suggestions to make - all were taken on in a spirit of shared enterprise. Without a doubt, this home has caught the attention of many local people who are friends of my mother and have been keen to come visit.
We are so pleased to hear that you are happy with how your mum has settled and your choice in Ruby Lodge. Thank you for your review, it is much appreciated. Warm regards from all at Ruby Lodge.
The whole experience was great for my Mother and me and my sisters. She was reluctant to move from her apartment but unfortunately, her health has deteriorated so more permanent care was needed. The whole experience of visiting her in a relaxed environment with caring staff and enjoying the facilities with her makes it all more pleasurable, for all of us.
Thank you so much for taking the time to compete this review, which we will share with the whole team. Best wishes.
The lodge is absolutely stunning and they have helped my Grandma settle in so quickly. All the staff are lovely and the quality of care is amazing. They are always on hand and helpful and so welcoming for family to visit also.
Thank you for your kind review of Ruby Lodge Care Home. We're so glad to hear that you're happy with the care and environment provided at Ruby Lodge for your Grandma.
What a wonderful place this is! From the beautiful surroundings and facilities to the amazing staff, delicious food and the most personal of patient centred care I have ever experienced. As a care professional myself, I can honestly say I've been blown away by the whole experience. My mum had to make the decision to leave her home and go into full time care due to a decline in her health and as you can imagine, this is not an easy thing to do. Everyone at Ruby Lodge has made sure that she is comfortable and so well looked after as possible. They have gone to every effort to eased her transition, and ours as her family, with so much care and understanding. I can not recommend Ruby Lodge and all who are involved in the care of my mum enough. Thank you all so much.
Thank you for your kind review of Ruby Lodge Care Home. We're so glad to hear that you're happy with the care and environment provided at Ruby Lodge for your mum. We have enjoyed having her here as much as she has enjoyed being here.
It is a home-from-home disguised as a five-star hotel.
From the staff to the management to the fixtures and fittings and luxury services this is quite simply a fabulous place to live and visit.
Not only is the attention to detail stunning but when you look beyond the amazing rooms such as a cinema, seaside arcade, pub, fine dining, and spa... the actual bedrooms, lounges, and dining areas are really spacious light, and cosy.
You can be entertained or relax in the comfort of your own space.
From the support at the start by the relations manager to the leadership of the manager with too many excellent staff to mention.
We moved our Mum here from another location that had started her care journey and had given her a good start and it was an emotional roller coaster and a risk. But it has proved to be the right decision.
It may get busier and there will be challenges ahead but it was a risk well worth taking.
Thank you for your kind review of Ruby Lodge Care Home. We're so glad to hear that you're happy with the care and environment provided at Ruby Lodge for your mum, she has settled in so well and we are enjoying her being here very much.
