More like a luxury hotel than a care home! A real home from home. The staff and management are truly excellent and nothing is too much trouble. Such a friendly and welcoming place and given my dad a wonderful two weeks respite care. He loved it so much he'd be happy to return, and we'll definitely support

My Mom is now a resident, from the day she arrived Sept 2025, to the present day. All of her needs have been met by the kind & caring staff here. They have made Mom feel part of a wider family from the care staff/house keeping/maintenance man & events ladies, they have shown Mom respect & kindness.
Chef will also accommodate individual need where possible.

Mum was settled in really well. We are very happy with the level of her care and the facilities. The staff are fantastic, very caring. We even had Christmas day dinner at the care home with Mum, it was lovely food and we had a great day.

Stowe Manor is the first place that I have visited where I truly feel happy knowing my nan is here safe and happy.
I come to visit at least once a week and usually at meal times since I work Mon-Fri in the day times and the staff and food are always top tier.

Was very reluctant to go into a care home for a respite period but from the moment she got there she warmed to the staff & environment. Everyone was so very helpful & respectful and she soon felt more confident and reassured when staying there. In fact she expressed that the whole experience was so
much better than she had thought it would be and she would be very happy to go back if she needed future respite. In her 2 week stay she made good relationships with several staff who were regularly available to support her. They always made time to chat to her, nothing was too much trouble & they were attentive to her needs. I would recommend Stowe Mount without any hesitation.

Rebecca Bristow began her career as a registered nurse 20 years ago, initially working as a Registered nurse in a nursing home. Over the course of two decades, she has remained dedicated to supporting individuals to live safe, dignified, and fulfilling lives.


Progressing from frontline roles through to senior leadership positions, Rebecca has advanced to the role of General Manager. She has been a CQC Registered Manager for 12 years, bringing extensive experience in maintaining high-quality standards, underpinned by strong regulatory knowledge and hands-on leadership expertise.


Her long-standing career reflects a consistent commitment to building effective teams and delivering person-centred care that makes a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Having worked for several large providers of nursing care, Rebecca demonstrates loyalty, stability, and a genuine passion for the care sector. She is dedicated to developing and sustaining services founded on trust, compassion, and professionalism.

Leah Taylor

Job Title: Customer Relationship Manager Joined: 2025

Raised within the Staffordshire Regiment, Leah has strong and longstanding ties to Lichfield, alongside a career firmly rooted in community service. She brings extensive experience in supporting families and has served as a Community Champion, working in close partnership with local groups and charities to strengthen community engagement and wellbeing.


A committed and enthusiastic fundraiser, Leah has helped raise more than £150,000 for a range of charitable causes. Most recently, she completed a trek along the Great Wall of China in support of Acorns Children's Hospice. Leah also serves as a trustee for LGK, a Walsall-based charity dedicated to supporting families in need.

Alison Waterhouse

Alison is new to the care industry and excited to begin her journey with us. With a warm and welcoming personality, she’ll be ensuring the smooth running of our front desk and reception area, as well as supporting the team with a variety of administrative duties.


Alison is married and has two sons, two grandchildren, four chickens, and a cat named Daisy. Her grandchildren live in Wales and are currently learning Welsh—something Alison is now hoping to learn too, so she can surprise them with a conversation in their new language!


Before joining the care sector, Alison attended agricultural college and has held a variety of roles within the agricultural industry.
