My husband went from the hospice to Wyrley Rose for end of life care. We felt welcome from the initial assessment process till he died. The nurses and the carers treated him with such dignity, included him in the decision making every time and were very caring and helpful to me and our family. The atmosphere in the building was calm and welcoming from reception through to the support staff. My husbands diet was somewhat complicated and finding the right food/consistency was difficult at times. My family and I were able to spend quality time with him and we were well supported at the end. Our dog was made welcome too.
We're also pleased that you were able to spend precious time together as a family, and that even your dog was made to feel welcome. We appreciate your feedback regarding your husband's dietary needs and recognise how important it is to meet individual requirements, particularly at the end of life....
Michelle, front of house receptionist gave us our tour she was friendly, kind and professional. The tour was not rushed and Michelle answered all of our questions.
Daniela visited mom at home to do her assessment and she was very kind and patient with mom.
Mom is currently on a respite care plan and we were very anxious as to how she would settle in. However she seems to have adapted well. She looks clean well nourished (she says the food is great!) and less anxious. It has been lovely to see her joining in with some of the activities organised by Cara who I just met today and was very friendly.
We have met a number of the carers so far who have been caring for mom across various shifts. They are a happy, engaging team and they have given us feedback and tips and advice. Thank you Gemma for the practical advice. All the carers have been very supportive to us too on our new emotional journey.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your wonderful feedback.
We are delighted to hear that your experience with Wyrley Rose has been such a positive one. It means a great deal to know that Michelle made you feel welcome and supported during your initial visit, and that Daniela's...
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Wyrley Rose to se a friend of the family. From start to finish this was a much more pleasant experience than I have had when visiting other homes. Michelle who greeted us made us feel so incredibly welcome and couldn't have been more welcoming. The facilities are wonderful and it just made my heart happy to see our friend in such a better place than she has been. To know she is surrounded by such wonderful caring staff like Michelle is a blessing. Thank you to all at the home, you are truly wonderful people.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us. The staff and care teams looking after our cousin Sheila are very professional, friendly and respectful .The hygiene side is 5 star the rooms are clean and tidy. The entertainment is amazing we have joined in a few times the residents love singing . Sheila's very happy and peaceful living here thank you all for your help in settling her in.
We are delighted to hear that Sheila has settled in well and is happy and peaceful in her new home. It is especially rewarding to know that you have found our staff and care team to be professional, friendly, and respectful, and that our...
Michelle on reception had painted a very positive picture when I visited the home for a tour earlier in the year which made my decision about where to place Mom for her respite care very straightforward. Daniela carried out the assessment whilst Mom was in hospital, very professionally; she has been excellent too,
The facilities and staff that II have met so far have all been first class.
Accidents happen but Mom has banged her leg on the steel bed frame whilst under supervision which led to blood being spilled on the carpet and I thought that this might have been cleaned up a little quicker than it actually was. A suitable apology was made.
Given the cost I was also disappointed that on check in no coat hangers are provided, minimal toiletries and access to daily newspapers were not available either.
Overall though I have been very impressed and would certainly recommend.
We are delighted to hear that the initial tour and assessment helped make the decision easier for you and your family during what can be a challenging time. We also appreciate your honest comments regarding the incident involving your mother's leg and the delay in cleaning the affected area. Whilst...

In March this year we found ourselves needing to find a local Care home for my Aunty. How fortunate were we to find Wyrley Rose Care Home! Having read their reviews and looked at their website we arranged a visit. From the moment we stepped into this beautiful home where we were greeted by Michelle we instantly knew this was the place we wanted our Aunty to reside in. The home is immaculate and the quality of care is exceptional. Not only has my Aunt been made so welcome but so have we as a family! Thank you to every member of staff for the services you provide to ensure our Aunty gets the care and attention she deserves - it's a great comfort to us all as a family knowing that she's being so well looked after every single day. Thank you.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your wonderful feedback.
We are delighted that your experience with Wyrley Rose Care Home has been such a positive one. It means a great deal to us that you felt welcomed from your very first visit, and we will be sure to pass your kind words on to...
Respite for 2 weeks -I can't articulate how amazing the staff here are and how they've made one of the worst times for my family feel that little bit better. Michelle is the perfect front face to the home - one of the friendliest and welcoming people you could ever wish to find. Soni, Gabriel, Daniela - can't thank them enough for their kindness and understanding from day one. Maz & Gemma -I don't have words strong enough to explain how they are in the perfect vocation. From day one, they have been there for us all as a family and I'm sure driven crazy by me asking for updates and check ins but they have been so supportive and Maz has taken the time to speak to multiple times on the phone without me feeling rushed or that I'm a problem. I only got to meet Lay once but she also gave me such a secure and genuine feeling, a lovely person. Food, rooms and facilities were beautiful. We wouldn't hesitate for respite in future and thank all staff.
Thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to share your experience with us.
We are delighted to hear that your nan's respite stay was such a positive one and that our team was able to provide the support, reassurance, and compassionate care your family needed during that...
I am so humbled and happy to have found this wonderful home- my mom loves the surroundings and adores the dedicated staff- nothing is too much for them. Despite her hearing difficulties, they communicate with her and are so kind. All staff have smiling faces and are very polite to the residents and visitors.
I have got that peace of mind that only comes for knowing that the people you love are being cared for really well in our absence.
Caring for people is a very difficult job at best of times- hats off to the staff at Wyrley Rose. You are all incredible souls.
We understand how difficult it can be to place a loved one into respite care,...
The 'open door' policy for relatives visiting gives confidence that there's nothing to hide. All the staff, without exception, have been happy to answer any questions that we've had and have been very accommodating regarding requests that have been made.
I was surprised at what a difference being looked after properly made, after just a few weeks of being at Wyrley Rose my relative was visibly healthier, chattier and more engaged in what was going on around them.
The staff go out of their way to ensure that all the residents have the opportunity to participate in the many activities that they have going on.
Thanks also go to Dawn and Stacey for all that they've done in the 'settling-in' process, it made a difficult time much easier.
Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful review. We are delighted to hear that your experience with Wyrley Rose has been such a positive one from the very first visit.

Wyrley Rose is a beautiful care home. Every member of staff has been really kind and caring. I have noticed a marked improvement in both the physical and mental state of my relative. There are no visiting hours - you can just turn up when you like and you will be welcomed. There's always something going on to entertain or engage the residents. There's a guilt attached to taking a relative into a care home, but with Wyrley Rose I am certain I have made the right call.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We are delighted to hear that your relative has settled in so well and that you have seen such positive improvements in both their physical and mental wellbeing.
Our team works hard to create a warm, welcoming, and engaging environment for all...
The staff are so caring approachable nothing is to much trouble. They are doing a great job looking after aunty and meeting all her needs. The home is well presented all the staff are friendly the facilities are fab, they have a time table of daily events with Auntie has been down to the cinema which she enjoyed. She has her hair done in the salon too. I have to say as a family we are so happy she is being looked after and having the daily social aspect which we feel has improved her quality of life.

Having looked at numerous care homes, we chose to book our sister into Wyrley Rose for a period of respite dementia care following release from hospital. It was absolutely the right decision. We could not be happier with the care and attention our lovely sister received. The staff are so well trained and knowledgeable and nothing is ever too much trouble, everyone showed the utmost care and respect not only to our sister but to everyone in the family. On behalf of the family our sincerest thanks.
Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful review. We're truly grateful that you chose Wyrley Rose to support your sister during her respite stay, and it means a great deal to us to hear how happy you were with the care she received.

Wyrley Rose is an amazing place. I never thought a Care Home could be like this. From the minute you walked through the door, it's like a 5 star hotel with a very professional, friendly service. Mum has been on here for 4 weeks now, the care, housekeeping and catering are all amazing and attention to detail is brilliant. After looking at other care homes, it is streets ahead of the rest. I would recommend to anyone. I personally, would like to thank Michelle as leaving mum for the first time in somewhere, other than home was very emotional. The support was and still is amazing. The Wyrley Rose also has a beautiful on-site cafe where a freshly made sandwich and coffee etc can be enjoyed, served by a friendly face. Thank you all, you've taken away the weight off our shoulders xx

Wyrley Rose is a smart, brand new care home. We moved Mom there after a very unsatisfactory experience with two other care homes in Lichfield. Staff here are very friendly. There is a very smart cafe; and Mom's room is stylish and has a good view. An excellent start.
Thank you for your lovely review. We're delighted to hear that your mom has had such a positive start at Wyrley Rose and that you've been pleased with the environment, the caf, and the views from her room. Most importantly, it's wonderful to know that our team has made you feel welcome and...
Wyrley Rose is a wonderful care home, as soon as you walk through the door you are made to feel not only welcome, but part of a family. Receptionist Michelle treats you like family, and makes a visit a good experience in a situation where seeing loved ones can be an upsetting time, but staff attitudes are of such a high quality, you know your loved ones are in safe hands. The care home is immaculately kept, warm and spotlessly clean throughout, with great places for people to congregate. Food and drinks are of a high quality and not one dimensional. This is the kind of care home you feel that your loved ones deserve after giving you the life you have achieved thanks to your loved ones hard work over the years. 5 star care home and 5 star staff run to perfection.
Thank you so much for your incredibly kind and thoughtful review.
We are truly delighted to hear that you feel welcomed and part of the family from the moment you walk through the door - that is exactly the atmosphere we strive to create at Wyrley Rose. Michelle and the whole team will be so...
My mum came into Wyrley Rose as a permanent resident in October 2025 after a stay in hospital. Her room was lovely and spacious and the communal dining room and lounge were like a 5 star hotel. Staff always very caring and helpful and the entertainment schedule was wonderful - exercise classes, films, singers and plays to name a few. My mum got to know some of the other residents and enjoyed some of the other residents and enjoyed time with them. When mum passed away quietly just before Xmas all of the staff were lovely, she was in the best place possible in the circumstances.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a kind and thoughtful review. We're truly pleased to hear that your mum felt comfortable at Wyrley Rose and that you found her room, the communal spaces, and our activities to be of such a high standard.
It means a great deal to us to know that...
