Overall Experience
Good sized rooms for the residents. Friendly staff, who treated residents with respect.
Some staff did not take the need for good hygiene seriously enough.

Promises made to relatives were not well implemented.

Overall Experience

My friend came to your home as an emergency following the death of his wife. As bed bound and with so little communication he was cared for with wonderful patience and skill by all those staff I saw. Although he had only a short time to live you made those days more comfortable than I think would have been the case anywhere else.

I am so very grateful for the compassion and attention of the care staff who were so well trained and so willing.

Thank you!

I have worked at Kingsley Care Home for the last 18 months as the Home administrator. I am currently working towards my NVQ L3 in Business Administration. I have worked in the care sector for over 23 years and have a wealth of knowledge working with older adults and dementia care.

I completed my RMA Registered Managers Award and NVQ L3 in health and social care, and worked as a deputy manager of a residential home for over 12 years. I then moved on to be an assessor in the community working for a health care company that provided care at home, working alongside Tameside Council. I built person-centred care plans and risk assessments for service users living in their own homes who required care and support with daily living. I was a moving and handling trainer who supported and signed off on the care assistants working out in the community.

I enjoy my job as I love caring and supporting people each and every day, whether that be the residents, staff or families. I am always happy to help where I can.

In my spare time, I enjoy family time with my 5 boys, often going to Football every weekend with my boys, as one of my sons plays for Stoke City Academy. When I have time, I also enjoy swimming, Movie nights, family holidays and weekend trips away!
