The atmosphere was tranquil and the facilities adequate and all staff very approachable at all times, including the extremely busy lady on the desk who it is amazing gets her work done with constant flow of visitors, deliveries, workmen and such

Mum went into Aspen Grange through the Hospice at Home scheme 3 weeks ago. She died today. I have nothing but good things to say about the place. The carers are wonderful, so kind and gentle and able. The nurses really know what they're doing and were very helpful about keeping me in the loop. The management team are super kind and efficient. The catering team took real trouble to get Mum's gluten-free diet right. The cleaners came in every day and were discreet and friendly with the residents. Nothing was too much trouble for Mark who moved furniture and provided equipment for Mum. Latasha was so helpful and always had a cheery greeting as we arrived and left. It feels as if everyone really cares about what they do. I hope they read this and realise how grateful I am for all they did for Mum, and for their support and kindness to me today.

My mother is currently a resident at Aspen Grange care home, and she is very happy and settled. The staff are excellent, always helpful and positive in their attitude, and make my mother's stay there, a pleasant and comfortable experience. Both my sister and myself are very happy that my mother has all the care and attention she needs.

A good place to be if you have to go into care.

Building is well maintained and rooms and communal areas are always clean.

Mum has been a resident at aspen Grange for over two years. The staff have been supportive and understanding of her needs throughout this time. The level of care, both professional and friendly, has been outstanding. It feels as if the size of the home (number of residents and staffing ratio) is ideal with Mum not being lost as just another resident.

My stepmum has been at Aspen Grange for some time now, and the standard of care that she receives is more than we could have asked for. The staff are attentive and friendly, and given the circumstances, my stepmum is happy and well cared for. There is plenty to keep her stimulated, and if there are any issues we are informed immediately. As a family we are grateful for everything they do.

My brother and I were greeted on arrival by cheerful and courteous staff. We were pleased to find our relative (resident) in the home looking comfortable and relaxed. She was also looking well cared for. The staff were admirably patient and kind in manner. The decor & atmosphere was clean, bright and welcoming. We greatly admired the professionalism of all the staff we encountered.

My mum has been at Aspen Grange for just over a year. My sister, husband and I are very pleased with her care. She has a nice ensuite room, the carers are amazing, so helpful, and friendly. They look after her hygiene needs and make her laugh, and encourage her to sit in the lounge. Nearly all the carers we see have been there since mum moved in. The nurses are great at keeping on top of her medical needs, even when she spits her pills out.

My wife has now spent the first month in Aspen Grange. To date, I cannot fault facilities, management, carers, cleaners, cleanliness and comfort for the residents. Their food is adequate, with menus changing daily. There is a lovely garden with tables, chairs and gazebos for residents and families to enjoy. Entertainment is provided most days. Dogs are allowed to visit also. My family and me are all in agreement, my wife is definitely in the right place to be cared for.

All in all, a much much better care home than the previous home in Chelmsford that Mother was in that was also more expensive.

My step mother in law is being well cared for at Aspen Grange. The staff manage her dementia extremely well and she is much more happy and content than she was before she arrived at Aspen Grange. The staff go the extra mile to engage with her and provide activities which she enjoys.

She is in the best place

I am extremely pleased with the care and respect that my mum and my dad get in Aspen Grange. The staff are very kind and caring and go out of their way to do everything possible for the residents. I have never gone into the care home and had to say I'm unhappy about one thing as they are very well cared for and would recommend this care home all the time.

Everything and everybody is brilliant, friendly, helpful, and commendable. Two minor gripes that sometimes go unnoticed - she's often slumped down too far in her chair and frequently hasn't swallowed the dispersible medication. Both issues are usually dealt with promptly by the staff.

My mother is a long-term resident and whenever I raise an issue with the staff regarding a request from my mother it is dealt with quickly and efficiently. The rooms are spacious and I find all the staff very helpful.

The home is always clean and sweet smelling, and the food always looks good.

Aspen Grange is a care home offering full support for my Stepmother who has severe dementia and has been residing there now for almost 6 months. They are able to cope with her behavioral changes and provide good hygiene and personal care that fully meets her needs.
