My wife has been a resident for the past 3 months and I can say that her care has been excellent during this time. I visit her twice each day so I know that she is being looked after very well. The nursing staff are devoted to their work and treat the residents with care and compassion. Likewise, the
admin staff always pleasant and helpful with advice and information.

On the occasions I have visited, the staff appear friendly and professional. Clients appear comfortable. Rooms have a nice atmosphere and are nicely decorated.

Everyone at the care home is wonderful. I feel real peace of mind on all levels and never worry about my husband, as the staff all give 100% and really do care a great deal about all residents in the home. One big happy family. Thank you.

My father-in-law was a resident for 18 months. He had severe memory loss and was unable to get out of bed and stand. As his illness progressed he needed everything doing for him.
Throughout this period staff were pleasant, polite and professional his needs being met. On family visits, there was always
someone available to answer questions.

Several visits a week to my mother over three and a half years have been made so enjoyable with friendly receptionists, manager, care assistants and very concerned, efficient nursing staff meeting my mother's needs with the continued support of the doctor from the local health centre. Very friendly
and stimulating activities organised very regularly for the residents make Clarendon Court Care Home of a good standard.

My grandmother has been in Clarendon Court for over two years. Sadly she passed away on Friday 24th Feb 2017 but prior to this she has been looked after so well when she was taken to hospital on Wed 15th Feb. Every day the care home called to see how she was. Their care is second to none, I couldn't
have hoped for a better nursing home.

The staff I meet are always kind, caring and treat my father with dignity. I am kept informed of my father;s progress. The effort that has been put into providing activities for residents of all abilities is excellent and the 'pub garden' and 'tea room; are inspired.


The food provided has improved

enormously over the last few months. It is now good quality and is very well cooked and presented and tastes delicious. My father is eating more now and is enjoying his meals again.

My mother only spent 6 days at Clarendon Court before her sad death but the care and consideration that she and her family were given from all of the staff was wonderful. Without exception, every staff member was truly fabulous and sensitive to our and my mother's needs. A special thank you though to
one lady for making mum so comfortable on her last day. You are all fab- thank you!!

My mother had Alzheimer's and went into Clarendon Court Care Home for two weeks respite. She loved it and never left (4 years ago). She was instantly calm and very happy. As her condition deteriorated, her care plan changed and the carers were wonderful. All her needs were met and she enjoyed the food
and activities. On the 3/1/17, she got up, had her breakfast, and had her hair done when a carer noted she was pale. The nursing sister walked her to her bed. She lay down and passed away - a peaceful end. All staff have been wonderful since.

Sometimes my husband's clothes have food all over them when I go he finds it hard to eat and I think should be helped with his food. His laundry could be done better as his clothes are marked with his room number but sometimes has other people's clothes on. The staff are very kind when I go.

My aunt has been a resident for 2 and a half years, paying all fees herself.
A few criticisms:
- Staff sit at the nurses station and rarely interact with the residents (apart from the entertainments co-ordinator).
- I have never seen the manager on her floor.
- Laundry - ironing in particular -
leaves a lot to be desired.

My mother has experienced 3 very happy years at Clarendon Court where her needs of nursing care have been undertaken by the most wonderful staff of nurses, carers and entertainers. Her needs have gradually increased and all management and caring staff have been very professional and efficient. I feel

My 96 year old mother moved here just before Christmas needing 24 hour care. Her health has deteriorated in the last few months and sadly a series of strokes led to her death this week. The staff could not have been more friendly, caring or attentive. They treated my mum with compassion and dignity
in her last few days. The home itself is beautifully maintained. the manager with his sense of humour was a joy to know. If I was in need of care this is where I would want to go.

Hello, my name is Rachel. I am a qualified nurse with over 30 years of experience in the NHS and the private sector. I have been a Home Manger for over 20 years and at Clarendon Court since 2020.
